I'm at Uni and kinda bored so I'm going to reply to your reply Jack I'll find you the exact part where I thought it was used wrong... "to witness the figure DROPPING in from behind them - the Huntress - retracting their weapon." and other time: "The Huntress THROWS her staff forward, and a sharp blade retracts at the top." Particularly in the second example the notion of the blade 'retracting' implies that the blade was already out and then by 'retracting' withdrew into the weapon. I can't think of the word you would use instead, it's kind of escaping me at the moment but I'm almost definite it's not retract. I'm just looking it up in a thesaurus now and words they've got in place of 'retract' are things like 'pull in', 'draw in', 'pull back' and 'withdraw'. So yeah, I'm not trying to have a go at you or anything, just hoping to help you improve your wording in this case I can get a bit nitpicky sometimes True, you make a good point there. I guess It's because Watchtower is sort of set in the 'real world' so I don't have as much suspension of disbelief as I normally would with an outright fantasy story. So that's not so much on your part and more on mine because, like I mentioned before, I can get a little picky with details XD I should probably clarify here that it wasn't so much the reference of Jimmy that bugged me but the way it was worded. I get that it would have been horrible for Chloe and it would something pretty emotional to talk about yet that emotion didn't really come across in the words she was using. "He fell to my arms and I watched him breathe his last breath. His eyes staring back up at mine with the life slowly draining out of them." When I read that I was a bit 'who actually speaks like that?'. I get it for dramatic purposes but the way she described his death sounded a bit more like how someone would write it down rather than how someone would explain it to someone else. I think what I'm trying to say is that it sounded really cliché and a little over the top. Sometimes cliché and over the top works and sometimes it doesn't and this time I don't think it really worked. Oh, it was unpredictable in that I wasn't expecting it to happen in this episode but I had a feeling when Perry found it it wouldn't necessarily be on Chloe's terms I do like Perry as a character. I think he sort of balances out all the other characters. While everyone else is running around being superheros you've got Perry who is a little more grounded and sort of like a mentor for the younger characters. I think that's why I don't like him having all those crazy story lines where he's out and about getting kidnapped or attacked and such, I prefer him as more of a stable character who Chloe can go to for advice and trust with her secret. Haha! Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking when I was reading it. 'Uh, I'm pretty sure that guy died' was my thought throughout the whole thing but I have to say I loved the way you explained how when he got shot it wasn't actually fatal. That was a twist I didn't see coming at all, I was expecting someone else just taking up the name of Black Mask, not the original guy Doooo itttt! Oh well, can't get it perfect every time XD I'm just going to assume Oliver picked up a gun off one of the guards at one point because he felt there wasn't enough variety in his life Don't worry, I get so attached to my characters too. I was originally going to kill of one of the Edge of Vision characters in the first/second episode but got so attached to them I couldn't do it *yay for random trivia* Good call. That could be a very fun sub-plot for the second season (because, let's face it, you're going to get second season. Just look at all the reviews you've been given!) Thank you! I do really enjoy reviewing Watchtower, it's a fantastic series you've got going here. I also know how much I love reviews of my own work so I figure the rest of the writers on the site would love to hear what people think of their work too

ok, I've just finished reading "homecoming"....and i really really loved it..i give 10 (wowwww maybe one of my favorite episode ) I start reading the teaser with this huge smile on my face...it was funny and sweet at the same time!! I felt embarrassed for them then i loved all their conversation, i think you did i great job.. Moira and Gabe were perfect, so 'loving and understanding....and what a funny moment when Oliver asked their permission to marry (ohhh he did want to marryyyyyyyyy her ) Chloe...i was soooooo happyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!! in this episode you really made my dreams came true ;D it was an emotional scene then Moira's kidnapping....and Emil still thinking he can change the world without causing war world 3....i can't say if he really believes it or he's just pretending to be one of the good!! Perry is the one chosen by the helmet of Nabu..that's a twist!! I Didn't see It coming..... Helena finally found her father...but I'm sure that's not over yet...i mean.. they really just leave him free like that?? after all this years keeping him hiding and secret?? i really hope she isn't leaving the team...i really love her the last scene was so heartbreaking....i can see it all in my mind, that's so sad!! and now what?? they will force Oliver to wear the dark suit?? I like how you started the show with fun and joy, and you ended with sadness and pain.

ok, I've just finished reading "homecoming"....and i really really loved it..i give 10 (wowwww maybe one of my favorite episode ) *jaw hits floor* Wow! Thank you soooo much! That's awesome! Haha. They definately were in a funny situation. Its funny how Oliver's persistance landed him there, if he had gotten out of bed like Chloe wanted to go and meet Helena, they wouldn't have been so embarrassed hahaha. I'm glad you liked Moira and Gabe in this episode. It was hard to go back and try and capture their characters, and I'm not sure I did fully, but I got the basics. I tried referencing how Chloe always thought Gabe told lame jokes - which he kinda does lol. Oliver is ready. He's really ready. He knows Chloe is the one for him, and he wants nothing more than to see this through. He was actually going to spend the whole day with her, where he'd propose that night, but unfortunately, Amanda Waller showed up on his doorstep before Chloe did. That's good. I myself, am not sure whether I'm writing a convincing Emil, or a lying one. He's really pushing for this to happen, and really nosediving back into his experiments - its kind of hard not to see how much "bad" he's doing. Its inevitable he will bring about world war III, but whether he see's that before it comes to pass, is another question. This will be continued furthermore in the second season! (Still over the moon about the renewal!). Oh, you'll also see some more stuff on it in the finale This whole arc for Helena is setting up her story in season 2. Why did they release him? What did they mean when they said 'soon we'll be coming to collect?' You'll see and hear more next season, it remains a mystery until then. But there's a really big important arc about it I had planned. In the original version, Guido (the father) wasn't held captive at all, and was just coming out of the shadows to meet with her, having found her. But then I thought there'd have to be something more in that story, something more pulling. And so I linked it with a story I have planned in season two, and its going to link up beautifully! Definately! And with Emil's newfound way to control all his experiments, Oliver can't get out of it now. Thank you! I always enjoy that slow transition on TV shows that when the end is near, everything sort of heats up and goes tenfold down the gutter, with all the characters. The finale will be fun. I can't wait for that to air, not this mondy but the one after that. Thanks for the review and the rating! Loved it!

Haha. They definately were in a funny situation. Its funny how Oliver's persistance landed him there, if he had gotten out of bed like Chloe wanted to go and meet Helena, they wouldn't have been so embarrassed hahaha. who can blame him for wanting more.... ;D if i were Chloe, i think I'll let him persist all day long I'm glad you liked Moira and Gabe in this episode. It was hard to go back and try and capture their characters, and I'm not sure I did fully, but I got the basics. I tried referencing how Chloe always thought Gabe told lame jokes - which he kinda does lol. you did a great job....and i really can remember back at smallville first or second season when Chloe used to says that about her father..especially in one episode when she was with her class trip and her father were explaining his work...or something like that Definately! And with Emil's newfound way to control all his experiments, Oliver can't get out of it now. ok ok so now I'm dying to see what will happen to him...

Homecoming was great and so frustrating as well. LOL Let me say how happy I am to see Moira and Gabe back. It feels so good. I felt some kind of distance between Chloe and her parents (especially her dad) but that could be because she haven't seen them for long. It's a tittle bit sad that Perry seems to be closest to a father figure to Chloe than her own dad. Good thing I adore the Perry/Chloe relationship. Oliver was gonna propose to Chloe? Why does it have to end like this? I feel like they really can't catch a break. We better see that proposal happening because I can already imagine it being EPIC! Love the Chlollie relationship. Their love is real, realistic, passionate...I could go on and on but I'm afraid I won't stop if I do.LOL Emil is a jerk. Period. There are no redeeming qualities in him anymore. Dr Fate's helmet and Perry...I can't believe the Helmet choosed Perry. I hope it will be explained soon and deeper. It was a good episode. While I love Helena, I didn't get into her storyline. I was too deep into Chloe/Oliver/Moira and Gabe.

Homecoming was great and so frustrating as well. LOL As the penultime episode of the season, the "Great and frustrating" comment means my job is done here. LOL. Thanks for leaving the review, about to go through it now. One thing I definately didn't want to do was have the parents come back and make it seem like they've been keeping in touch, and that they were going to suddenly have the best relationship with each other. One: Because of how long its been since they've seen in each other. Two: They were both involved in the main plot, and that plot was too big to stop and try and show how close they are. Perry will and will always be this father figure to Chloe - her boss, father, etc. He's sort of taken that roll this season. Although not intentionally doing this, I'm glad I didn't erase that roll from Perry with the parents coming home. I will say that Gabe will have a recurring role over the course of the series. I want him to sort of get involved with Chloe's life, and sort of use up that lost time. Things will get rough in the future, and Chloe will definately need her father around. So expect that relationship to grow on this show. They really can't, haha. The Chlollie story continues into the finale, hopefully you'll enjoy that too. Oliver has been ready for a while, and I think you'll like the direction they get taken next season. They have a big journey next season, and yeah, it'll be fun. A lot of fun. Some drama mixed in, and hopefully they'll be able to stop and smell the roses, without all this apocalypse stuff getting in the way. Not ... even ... a little bit redemptive? LOL Emil will never be redeemed on the show, but his older roots, the character we've seen on Smallville, will begin to come through next season. But as for now, and the finale, its war. Literally. Chloe and Emil face off. Unfortunately, the episode where things got explained deeper got lost, (apparently the computer hates me), and so I tried to adapt what I remembered into this episode. A better explanation will come. At the moment, I'm torn between him being a permanent Doctor Fate, to a temporary one. He was chosen, yes, but as Nabu stressed, 'to deliver a message'. Is his role done? We'll have to wait and see... That's cool. This episode, for Helena, kick starts her arc for season two. Thanks for reviewing, Maria! Loved it, AGAIN. And trust me, the Chlollie story is in good hands. Thanks!

:: SPECIAL THANKS:: The last episode of Watchtower's first season has gone online, and as the hiatus begins, I'll be working on the second season which has been renewed by the network. I want to thank a lot of people who helped make this show what it was Chris Davis. Without his idea of doing a Lana spin of series "Trinity" I wouldn't have had the guts to bring a Chloe show to the forefront. He's helped out with ideas, and helped me stay determined and focused on the show during its first season run. Also, a special thanks for seeing the potential of the show in its pilot, "Legend" which is my favourite episode that I've written for the show. And I hope all the readers send their appreciation to him! Krystal (Krysla). On a virtual network, we try and make the show, interviews, promotional trailers, everything feel real and seem like its really "on the air" so to speak. Its been fun running the show this way. Without Krystal, who does all the art on the show, you wouldn't get to see some of the written stuff come to life as well as Krystal has made it appear, and I hope you all send your love to her and make her feel welcome on the forums. She's a brilliant artist, and I hope to work with her more in season two! Maria26. MJ. Gamila. Karl. What can I say? I love that you guys stick by the show and read it regularly. And not just that, but you take the time to post your thoughts and tell me what you thought about the episodes that have aired. Without your contribution, a second season wouldn't have happened, and the show probably wouldn't have reached its 12 episode season. Thank you for keeping the show alive, and I owe a great deal to all of you! Thank you all! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the season finale, and hope to see you all back for when the second season airs. Stay tuned for a lot more information and details on the second season of Watchtower! Thanks guys, its been a blast! ;D

OMG THAT WAS AN AMAZING SEASON FINALE . i WAS SO FREAKING IMPRESSED . MY GOD THAT DESERVES A 10+ . The episode made me so excited for the next season. This finale had so much action and adventure i nearly died. The characters and how they were in the future was amazingly well written and of course you brought in Black Canary . I love her to pieces but it was good to bring her. Now here is what I thought of each character. Chloe: Our lead heroine. I cant believe the first season is over . My god she has been my all time favorite character. In this episode she was the best. I loved how she went looking for Ollie and got very violent in this episode. Her scenes with the Legion were epic. I felt that she was the best out of any character in this episode. Her future self from the way Helena was talking about her sounded like the same Chloe from the future we saw in Smallville, willing to do anything to win. Of course i loved that in the future Her and Ollie are still in love no matter what. Now her fight scene with Emil....was pretty epic. I think Chloe can probably take Tess in a rematch.haha. Her choice to shutdown Watchtower...seems like a good one but we know that she will never stop being Watchtower no matter what. Oliver: The second leading person in this episode . His future self seemed so....evil.haha. I know right. Although the fact that Emil and Amanda unleashed him at the last second kind of made it seem like he was there only hope. Now what i liked about Ollie's future self is that he still wouldnt kill Chloe...no matter what. I also liked how you jogged his memory of Chloe with the flashbacks of there greatest moments . And the Ollie back in the present. Im glad the girls got to him before he got axed . I also liked how he tried to convince Chloe to come back to WT and not shut it down. I also like that he is still holding onto the engagement ring Helena: Okay. Future Helena....she was something else . She was dark and cruel. I like how she thought Love was just something that gets you killed. And i have to agree with her on that one. Of course I like how she alluded to who got killed. I have pretty big idea who it is. It sucks that future Helena got killed though :/. Although present Helena seemed happy which is good. Im glad she didnt want Chloe to quit WT. Her final scene with her father was very good Emil: I dont like him. His future self was the same as him present self. Although i did enjoy his fight with Chloe...that was amazing. Him killing Bruce in the future was just mean. Although i dont understand why he killed him though. But in the present i like how he is the new project. I cant wait to see what happens to him next season Amanda Waller: Well she got vaporized in the future thats all i care about.haha. I didnt like her so much. In the present sure she kidnapped Emil. But i wonder what for? Perry: Okay him...i felt really bad for. I mean in the future the Helmet made him crazy . I felt really bad that Perry went crazy from the helmet. But i was wondering how he got back from Emil. If Emil had it. But im glad Dr. Fate could make an appearance. Although we dont know if he survived or not. His final scene was good. Im glad that he regained consciousness Dinah/Black Canary: Seemed like a good asset in this episode . I like her alot. I cant wait for her next season The good: I love how you had Chloe and Ollie flashbacks when Chloe was trying to get him to remember him. I also liked how Future Ollie put the ring on her wedding finger. That was cute. And i like how Helena almost spilled the beans about Ollie trying to propose. I also liked how every character in the future was lost, broken,or evil . ALL IN ALL....JACK it was amazing I cant wait for next season

Thanks Karl! I'm glad you loved the finale! I had so much fun writing their future selves, its not even funny - I tried to change them whilst keeping with their character in some bits, so it was a challenge, one that I found very fun. The thing about the Chloe/Helena friendship in the future was that they've been through so much together to get where they were, and the Chloe from the present doesn't know or hadn't experienced any of that with her - so to Helena, Chloe was dead. And it was hard for her to see that Chloe *could* save them. And her fight with Emil was so hard to write. On one hand, I didn't know how their final confrontation was going to be, at one point there was no fight, and so eventually it came to this. I'm glad you liked it! Thanks! This was the Chlollie thing I loved writing this episode. Darkwatch not being able to kill Chloe and how she jogged his memory. And that scene with the ring and yeah, just how certain things triggered certain memories. It was fun! Thanks. Next season there's a lot of Helena/Guido stuff. In the future, we saw that someone close to her that she loved died and that set her on this path, and Chloe hopes to make sure that won't ever happen. There was a lot of great Chloe/Helena scenes in this episode that were so fun to write! Emil killed Bruce because the cave the resistance were in was connected to Wayne Mansion (hint hint). He was covering for them, and Emil suspected that. The project is his own creation, the name of it should have given away what exactly it was, but just to fill you in: it was a clone. Our Emil was killed by Amanda Waller. She killed Emil, LOL. The Project Respawn was Emil's way of surviving, a clone in case all else fails. You'll see more on that next season, so stick around Perry wasn't very important in this episode - the story mainly revolved around the team (Chloe, Helena, Oliver) and the villain, Emil. So there wasn't much closure to Perry in the future, but its all good. He was a lost soul, unfortunately, whether he survived or didn't. I had fun with his scenes, loved making him all crazy and everything! Thanks. I loved writing that ring scene. It was like Oliver doing the one thing he regretted - not getting the chance to propose. And he did that without revealing anything. And their kiss was also amazing. Huge fan of this couple and love writing them! Thanks Karl!

Thanks for the shout out Jack. I've really enjoyed reading and reviewing Watchtower and I'm glad my little contributions have helped Anyway, I'm going to give a quick review of episode 11 'Homecoming' before I go and read the season finale. Because I really want to read the finale I'm just going to point out the things I didn't really like/thought were a bit questionable in this episode so I don't spend ages on the review. Anything I don't bring up you can assume I thought it was awesome XD The talk between Chloe and her dad at the end of the first act was very information heavy with little action. I would have like to have seen that broken up a bit by something because information dumps are never much fun. Maybe it would have been better if you had cut between Chloe and Gabe in the kitchen and Oliver and Moria in the living room and had Gabe and Moria each telling the story to Chloe and Oliver respectively. It would have broken up the scene a bit and made it a little more interesting I think Okay, I think I'm reading this scene right (the last one in act two) and it appears that Helena stabs Emil in the stomach/general gut area? I find this a bit odd if she then needed him to help her do something. A stab wound in that area can hit a number of major organs which can cause a fairly quick death, not to mention getting stabbed would be pretty darn painful. She didn't know at the time of stabbing him that he would have is little wonder cure on hand so she either would have had to be sure Emil would tell her everything she wanted to know after stabbing him OR planned to take him to get medical attention before he showed her where the 'undisclosed facility' was. Just something that really bugged me as I was reading but if I've totally mis-interpreted "stepping forward with a blade in her hand, grabbing Emil’s tie and pulling him in. Throwing him against the wall, she runs it into his gut." feel free to ignore my little rant The scene between Moria, Gabe and Oliver seemed a little over the top in it's romanticism in my opinion. It was kinda redeemed because it lead to the whole 'proposal' thing but until I read that part the whole 'meant to be' and 'love of my life' kinda had me going *bleh*. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for Chlollie but I'm not big on the overplayed romanticism and I really don't think it suits Watchtower when there is too much of it. This is personal opinion though so don't get too caught up on what I said Pah, Emil. I really can't wait until we get a new villain, I've just really not liked him that much all season and not in the good 'love to hate' kinda way. Just have to say quickly I love the song choice for the end of the episode! I have it on my itunes so I played it while I was reading and it really complemented those last few scenes fantastically!!!!! Also, YAY, Amanda Waller! Now there's a good villain. Anyway, I give the episode an 8/10. Not my favourite but not bad either

Thanks for the shout out Jack. I've really enjoyed reading and reviewing Watchtower and I'm glad my little contributions have helped You deserve the shoutouts. Love the reviews! Haha, thats cool. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the finale Thanks - that was one problem I had. I had gotten all the stuff out I wanted to get across, but realised, the scene carries too much weight, just on exposition. So it was difficult, and I unfortunately overlooked that when it came to editing. Well you're right, she stabbed him pretty severly, but he injected something into himself and it healed remember. Might have missed that, but Emil had something that healed the wounds (him with all his experiments lol). Sometimes I get too swooped up in the romance that I go overboard, and oven get one too many cheesy lines out. My bad. I'm glad you could see it was a build up, and yeah, I understand. Too much romanticism can get so annoying (Clois on Smallville). I'll definately watch out for that next season Hahaha. I've had fun writing him, but I think it was a mistake on my part to include him in all the episodes - especially for a regularly occuring villain. I'll get into that deeper later, but yeah, I understand completely. Wow, thanks. The song was by 30 Seconds to Mars wasn't it? I can't remember. If so, I love that band. Hahaha. And yes, you'll see more Amanda next episode, in the finale. She's more of a background player though, wanted to focus on the main cast in the final episode of the season. XD Thanks for the review! Loved it!

No problem. Hopefully you can use my tip in the future if you have another situation similar I sometimes forget that other people don't have nearly as much help as I do with editing. As well as editing my work myself both my sister and my best friend read over my work and point out errors or places where the story doesn't flow so i can fix them up. If you could get someone to do that with your work I would really recommend it. Having someone working through drafts with you is incredibly beneficial and can help to deal with tough spots like that in a piece of writing before you publish it Yeah, I did see the part where he had his special super injection thingy so that appeased my whole 'stab wounds really need medical attention'. The part I found odd was that Helena didn't know (or at least is was described this way in the ep) that he would have an injection like that on hand so if she wanted his help (without him ending up dead) to do something, why not simply threaten or go with a less serious injury? It's not a huge deal because in the end Emil was able to heal himself in the end but it was just something that bugged me. Like I've said before though, sometimes I can be really picky about details Yeah, it was Hurricane by 30 Seconds to Mars. I agree, awesome band

First of all sorry for my late comment..but i have been having some PC problems last weeks so I have not been able to connect to Internet....but now here i am ...so impressed and excited!!! i just loved the season final..it was perfect!! i give it 11 ;D i loved the introduction of the legion....i really enjoyed them in smallville...but I'm so sad you killed them off so quickly...i wish they had a bigger part in the finale... Oliver...ohh i loved how in the future he wasn't able to kill Chloe even without his memory...that was so beautiful..he really loves her...I'm so happy that in the present Dinah just saved him before they had time to turn him in a killer I liked how you did brought back his memory through flashback of their happy moments...it was perfect and romantic Perry...will became the future Dr. Fate...I'm not sure if i like it or not yet ... Chloe what can i say?? i will always love her...she's my favorite character, with her strengths and weaknesses... she finally realized that blind trust in people sometimes can be dangerous.... but I fear that this awareness will lead her in the wrong direction...like shutting down WT..... I really wanted to say Thank you...you are a great and very talented writer...i really enjoyed reading your show... Now i really cant wait for the next season.....

First of all sorry for my late comment..but i have been having some PC problems last weeks so I have not been able to connect to Internet....but now here i am ...so impressed and excited!!! i just loved the season final..it was perfect!! i give it 11 ;D Its cool. Thanks for coming back and reviewing! I always love your reviews. Yeah, I was a bit hesitant to kill them off, but the good thing is, they'd be alive NOW in the 31st Century. They had no world to go back to, so it sort of made sense. I really wanted to do this scene the most - where Darkwatch (Oliver) couldn't kill Chloe and her presence, and feel, brought back all these wonderful memories. My favourite was when he put on the Legion Ring, as if it was the engagement ring he never got the chance to give her, unbeknownst to Chloe. I'm glad you liked this part Mwahahahahahahahahahaha. No, seriously though, lol, you'll have to stick around for season two to see if anything happens with the Fate Helmet and Perry. I'm writing the season 2 premiere now, called "Identity." Chloe has changed a LOT, and its going to take a few people (Oliver, Bruce, etc) to help guide her back. This decision off sets that, about shutting down Watchtower. I thought, approaching the finale: I don't want a major cliffhanger, and I don't want each character left in a deadly situation (ala "Offline"). So I went with something more full circle: Chloe shuts down Watchtower and leaves it behind her. So realistically, by season two premiere, we're right back where we started - Chloe is working at Gotham Daily, doesn't want to be Watchtower anymore, etc. Thank you sooooooooooooo much, gamila! I loved reading all your reviews for this show, and helping me out, and praising my work for as long as you have. You're a fantastic member on this forum and I look forward to speaking to you soon again Sorry about your computer troubles
