The show is about the renegade crew of a United States Navy Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine, the fictional USS Colorado (SSBN-753), that defies an order to launch nuclear missiles towards Pakistan, a decision that cost the previous commanding officer his job when he refused to follow similar orders without an explanation or confirmation. When his replacement also questions the same orders, the vessel is fired upon without warning and the crew are left for dead. Realizing that they have been declared enemies of their own country, they set up camp on the fictional island of Sainte Marina, and declare themselves a sovereign nation with nuclear capability. At the same time, the crew must find a way to prove their innocence and find out who set them up so that they can return home.

I am very excited about this show! It sounds a lot like Lost, but not too much where the audience will consider it a clone. I am interested in the mystery behind the series and why the missiles were sent. The previews/synopsis already have me asking a lot of questions, so I can only imagine what the actual episodes will do to me.

I don't think the show sounds much like Lost at all. Just with the back drop being an island, but other than that, I'd say they have completely different premises. For instance, I better not see any smoke monsters or polar bears on this show. If I do, I'm done. lol! But I really enjoyed the trailer for Last Resort. Very intense and dramatic, and if the show is anything like it, it'll be something to watch out for.

Anybody else excited for the premiere of this tonight?! I've heard NOTHING but amazing reviews on this, so it better live up to the hype, or my faith in amazing looking shows will forever be shattered.

I really enjoyed the pilot! Had some great dialogue throughout, stayed true to real life, according to my dad who served on a submarine in the Navy, and it had a really nice flow that made it even more enjoyable to watch. I really like most of the characters introduced, and I'm looking forward to watching the show on a weekly basis now!
This show was second on my most anticipated list, but so far, it has proven to be better than my first, which was "Revolution."

The second episode was pretty strong. I didn't enjoy it as much as the first, but it was certainly not bad. I'm really enjoying this show, it's right up there with 666 Park Avenue for my top new series!

I kind of gave up on this show. Not because it's bad or anything, but because it comes on when TVD does, and I just haven't had time to catch up. And plus, the ratings seem to be dropping, and it's said this is certain to be canceled. But this show is still pretty AWESOME!

ABC cancels Last Resort. What a shame. Well... I guess I don't have to get caught up with this show now.
