EXCLUSIVE: "Hellbound" Producers Set 'Projected' Return Date; Title Cards & Episode Descriptions Released!!Due to the recent production wrap of the Arc Two premiere episode of Hellbound, producers have decided to release a 'projected' air date for the webisode series' return! Read the official statement below! Executive producer, Chris Davis told VSGuide, "Hellbound" has been given a 'projected' airdate, and if everything goes as planned, the webisode series will make its return January 24th, 2014, which is a year after the series first premiered. If things don't go as planned, hopefully the series will make its return shortly following that projected date. Arc two picks up one week after arc one ended, with James Bryson still suffering from the magics The Order used to invade his mind, Adam Murdock being brought before the Vampire Queen to answer for his betrayal, and Alyson Faye charged with suspicion of murder, and spending her nights in a cell.
He went on to say, "The first episode back touches on the origins of the vampire race, and also expands the Hellbound universe in a massive way, as two of our characters are not in the same place they were when we left them in arc one!"
As a treat, producers have released the official title cards for the back half of sequence one, as well as short episode descriptions! S01E07 "Broken, Bound and Beaten"After being tortured by The Order and brought to the vampire home dimension known as 'The Old World,' James (Sam Witwer) begins to experience vivid hallucinations of his fallen comrade, Jeremy (Michael Socha guest stars as Jeremy). Also, Adam (Milo Ventimiglia) must decide whose side he's really on, as he comes face to face with the Vampire Queen, Ephemera (Kate Beckinsale). Meanwhile, after being charged with the murder of Jeremy Weathers, on top of multiple counts of assault, and in a cell at the police station under constant guard, Alyson (Emily Rose) tries to find a way to clear her name before anymore damage can be done. S01E08 "Outlaws" Narrowly escaping the Queen's grasp, James (Sam Witwer) and Adam (Milo Ventimiglia) find themselves on the run, and in search for a way back to the their dimension, but with The Queen and her legion of vampiric soldiers tracking them, what are their chances of making it out alive? Also, they stumble across a sorcerer (Bruce Spence guest stars) who may be hold key to their escape. Meanwhile, Alyson (Emily Rose) attempts to use her past ties with the police force to her advantage as she looks to escape the station, but she may be in for more than she bargained for when someone close to her may be more than they seem. S01E09 "Celestial"Alyson meets a strange occult shop owner named Talia Manning (Tabrett Bethell guest stars) who possesses more knowledge on her lineage than even she does; James and Adam finally make their way back to the New World. Meanwhile, back in the Old World, The Queen and The Order plan their next move. S01E10 "Sanctuary" Since Alyson (Emily Rose) is still being pursued by the police, Adam (Milo Ventimiglia) leads her and James (Sam Witwer) to a safe house deep in the woods, but how safe are they when they discover the Queen (Kate Beckinsale) has followed them back to the New World, and plans on staying. S01E11 "The Ties That Bind"When Alyson (Emily Rose) comes face to face with the Queen (Kate Beckinsale), the truth behind the night her mother, Melanie Faye (Elizabeth Mitchell guest stars) was burned alive is brought to the light! James (Sam Witwer) and Adam (Milo Ventimiglia) must come up with a way to find and save Alyson, before it's too late.S01E12 "New World Disorder" In the Sequence One finale, James (Sam Witwer), Alyson (Emily Rose) and Adam (Milo Ventimiglia) are truly tested when the Queen (Kate Beckinsale) does something that threatens to change the world as they know it, forever.
So, there you have it! The full schedule for "Hellbound" Sequence One; Arc Two, possibly premiering January 24, 2014! Mark your calendars! And stay tuned for more exclusive updates on the series!

Loooove the fact that Hellbound could possibly be returning on my birthday. XD
But seriously, thee episodes sound awesome - I think I'm most excited for the guest stars you're going to be bringing in, moreso Alyson's mom than the Talia. And those title cards are pretty epic as well; my favorites are "Celestial" and "New World Disorder".
ADAM/ALYSON FTW.

XD I love all the guest stars too. From Jeremy to Melanie and Talia. Two of them are dead. One being shown in flashbacks and the other just a figment of another characters imagination. haha! But they'll all serve very specific purposes in arc two that will hopefully answer some of the questions that have piled up thus far; James and Alyson's mysterious connection, especially. Happy to report I'm about halfway through 1x08 at this point, so I'd say production is going pretty well, finally. And as for Adam/Alyson... it's really starting to look kinda good. Can't make any promises though. We'll just have to wait and see.

Exclusive: 'Hellbound' Arc Two Gets Longer Episodes; Sequence Two Already In the Works!
The "Hellbound" creative team is developing a “super-sized” arc for the back-half of sequence one. Head writer and co-executive producer Chris Davis is writing slightly longer episodes for the network. "There’s still 6 episodes of sequence one remaining, but you’ll get a little more each week than the previous arc."
“Instead of the usual 10 pages, we're going to be putting out 13-15 page scripts. If we did the math correctly, over the course of the arc, that roughly adds about an extra three episodes to the narrative compared to arc one,” Davis says. “One of things about the webisode format, is we try not to be under 8 pages or over 15, so that givess us a lot of room to be flexible with how our story is to be told; what's important and what's not. Our main goal for arc two is broadening the mythology, as well as bringing more personality to our characters. In order to do that successful, more content per-episode was a must."
Davis went on to say, "In arc two, you'll start to see the layers of the universe we've created being pulled back in a some pretty big ways. You'll begin to notice we're not writing a typical vampire story, and even though we're pulling a lot from existing vampire lore, the approach we've developed is something very new and exciting. I won't reveal anything, but don't be surprised if you find yourself wondering whether this show is a supernatural/fantasy drama or actually a closeted science fiction story"
In other news, producers confirmed that "Hellbound: Sequence Two" is already in development! Rumor has it, we'll be getting a prequel arc sometime during the sequence that highlights an important moment of James and Adam's life together in the early 1900's.
The arc is said to connect back to present day in more ways than one. Chris Davis hints, "It is no coincidence that James stumbled upon Alyson in that alley in the pilot. The end of sequence one and beginning of sequence two will really fill us in on just how much the two of them are connected."
"Hellbound" is set to return January 24th, 2014! Will you be tuning in? Check back in for more exclusive updates on the webisode series' return!

EXCLUSIVE: Naomie Harris Joins 'Hellbound' Cast For Recurring Role! While "Hellbound" producers are working hard to wrap up sequence one of the supernatural webisode series before it's return on January 24th, VSGuide got the opportunity to talk to executive producer, Chris Davis, for a scoop on a new character!
Naomie Harris (Pirates of the Caribbean; Skyfall) is set to join the cast in a recurring capacity this sequence, as a character simply known as "Siobhán." When asked to describe "Siobhán," Chris replied, "She's a very strong willed woman. Everything she says and does has a purpose, no matter how unclear."
He went on the say, "We first meet her character in episode ten, which is the episode we're shooting now. To avoid spoilers, I won't tell you the circumstances of her inclusion into the story, but I can tell you that she will be connected to a certain mystical element outside of the already strong vampire presence on the show. This arc is about expanding the mythology, and her character will be a major part of that expansion."
What 'mystical element' do you reckon "Siobhan" is a part of? Hellbound producers have expressed interest in featuring werewolves, witches, ghosts, necromancers, and other mythologies as the series moves forward.
Catch the return of "Hellbound" Friday, January 24th, 2014! Only on The VPN!

Thinking about releasing a little preview scene from the mid-sequence premiere (which will be released as scheduled!) when I get home from work. It would feature the introduction of Kate Beckinsale's character, 'Queen Ephemera.' She's a lot of fun to write.

So that trailer was INSANE! It had so much going on - I loved it. Seems like Arc 2 is definitely going to outdo the first, which was pretty great in itself. But yes, sooooo looking forward to it!
CAN IT BE FRIDAY ALREADY OR NAH?

As I said to you on skype, I'm really excited for this next arc. I really commend you for keeping the show going, and I know that you've taken on board a lot of the criticism from the first arc to really establish the show's own mythology and set it apart from other vampire series, such as 'Angel'. I, personally, am excited to experience Hellbound in a different light, as a viewer, and can't wait to review this next arc that I know you've worked so incredibly hard on. The trailer is freakin' amazing. As I said to you, I love how you're exploring some of the pivotal characters in James' world and expanding the bigger picture that there were many before Alyson who were a part of his life, and there's a lot of reasons for him to be as tortured as he is. I know there's quite a mystery coming, and to see that unfold as a viewer is going to be so damn exciting. I can't wait Chris. Well done! NOW CAN FRIDAY GET HERE ALREADY!?!

So, I was just checking out what tomorrow's episode is going to be about, and I can already tell that I'm going to love this one! I love the fact that the Queen is going to mosey her way into the New World, and that she's not going to just let James and Adam get away. And that fact that Adam is semi-saving the day by leading them to a cabin in the dark, mysterious woods is just awesome because Adam is clearly the best character on the show. Duh. Anyways, I'm so excited!

Anyways, I'm so excited! Ephemera is in no way letting James and Adam get away. Though, she might have to be motivated to take action by another new character we have coming in this episode, who will expand the magic mythology a bit more. This episode will be like "Celestial" -- pretty talky, with some exposition about the Old World mostly, leading up to the big penultimate and finale episodes. But, there's some interesting stuff coming out of this one as well. Hope you enjoy it!
