Greetings to all, are you getting excited? Why, you ask?
Because the TEN Awards of 2010 are only six days away and the nominees have just been announced!
Leading the pack with a massive thirteen nominations if the network flagship Charmed: Reset Reality. Last year the show picked up awards in the category of Best Lead Female, and the now-defunct Best Multi-Part Story. Just how many awards will it win this year? You'll have to log in on the 31st to find out!
As for the series' latest outing, webisode series Darken House, it has been given ten nominations, including two for Best Episode and another two for the new category Best WTF! Moment. Last year saw the most recent show of the network at the time, Caydem Falls, win big time - is the very same fate in store for Darken House? I'm sure series creator Alden Caele (also up for Best Writer) is hoping so!
It may have put out a single serial, but audio show Doctor Who Tales has gathered up six nominations, including Best Lead Female and Best Lead Male. Is there success in store for this innovative audio adventure series?
I hope you're excited now because I certainly am! Just who will win bigtime and who will lose out? You'll find out on January 31st, 2011 for better or worse!
Just a little heads up for any fans of DARKEN HOUSE, the whole Second Sequence aired yesterday! Go check out our forum to read the seven new webisodes in the thrilling story of the House!
In other news, a new webisode serial, X-MEN: REBIRTH was picked up to air later in the year. This is not the same new show that was picked up a few months ago. That is still to be announced, but is likely to air next Spring.

:: NOW AIRING ::
What is a mutant?
Mutants are just like us, normal human beings. There are several million across the world. The only difference is that they possess what is known as the Mutant X gene. This gene provides these individuals with abilities impossible for normal humans. These abilities manifest during puberty and develop throughout that person's life. How they use these abilities is up to them. Some use them for personal gain, others use them to protect innocents. However, the existence of these mutants is strictly classified information and they hide away their true identities behind masks and codenames. Should the public find out about their existence, it is undoubted that the course of the world would change entirely.
The series will complete a run of seven webisodes until Christmas before going on hiatus. The series will then pick up again in the new year for a further six episodes before completing the season. Darken House creator Alden Caele is expected to write several episodes.
The series stars Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier, Karen Gillan as Jean Grey, Chace Crawford as Warren Worthington III, Nina Dobrev as Rogue and Steven R. McQueen as Robert Drake. Dianna Agron will also have a recurring role throughout the first season alongside other big names guest starring as popular X-Men characters including Shadowcat, Multiple Man, Pyro and Nightcrawler.

Today, Tom East, the Network President and showrunner of popular webisode series X-Men: Rebirth
[/i], announced a second volume of the series is to air early next month, entitled 'All Eyes Open Wide'.
The volume picks up months after Volume One ended, with a new team of X-Men being trained for combat. The second volume sees all regular characters from volume one (Patrick Stewart as 'Xavier', Chace Crawford as 'Angel', Karen Gillan as 'Phoenix', Steven R. McQueen as 'Iceman' and Nina Dobrev as 'Rogue') returning, as well as two recurring characters being bumped up to the regular cast - 'Jamie Madrox/Multiple', played by Perfect alumni Josh Hutcherson and 'Kitty Pryde/Shadowcat', played by Zoey Deutch.
The regular cast will be joined by a host of new recurring characters, including Garrett Hedlund as 'Havok', Gerard Butler as 'Magneto', Daniel Radcliffe as 'Colossus' and Jenna Ushkowitz as 'Psylocke'. Other major additions include the return of Bianca Lawson as 'Storm', who appeared as a guest character in volume one, and the introduction of an original mutant named 'Switch', played by Callan McAullife. There is no news about recurring villain 'Emma Frost', played by Dianna Agron, returning.
The entire volume was written by series showrunner Tom East, with staff members Alden Caele and Darren Jackson serving as beta readers and producers.
We've been joined at TEN by a new show: Kyle West's Knight's Haven, a Star Trek spin-off that formerly aired at MZPtv before the move to our network. Here's quote from West himself that says all it really needs to. We hope that you'll come over to our site by clicking the poster above and start enjoying the series! The pilot episode is now up so if you're a sci-fi fan or a Trekkie then go check it out now!
With MZPtv's recent change in direction to solely original content, the KH production team discussed our options, and came to one conclusion: we'd been working on this show too long, and put in too much work, to just let it fizzle out because our host site had decided on a change of direction.
So, we approached TEN, a place that will hopefully soon fill the void that has been left by MZPtv's rebranding. Much to our delight, TEN were happy to take us onboard, and already have made great attempts to make us feel welcome here. I can't tell you how excited I am to be able to position KH as a flag-bearer for this site, and I look forward to a hopefully long relationship between us both.
Very shortly, our already released episodes will become unavailable at MZPtv. The first episode, now rebranded, has already been re-released today at TEN, and you will be treated to two episodes per week until we catch up with where the show left off at MZPtv. For 4 weeks straight, you will then be treated to the final episodes of the first season, exclusively released here at TEN.
To all the people who follow us over here, I look forward to continuing to hear from you. I appreciate that most of you will have already read the episodes we're re-releasing right now, so I'm not at all expecting you to re-read them (you can if you want to though!!). I just hope to see you when all-new episodes resume service in one months time
It's a new dawn for KH, and a fantastic time to hop onboard. Hope you join us!

TEN Announces X-Men: Rebirth Spin-Off, Rumors Further Series
Today, the creative team behind breakout hit X-MEN: REBIRTH today confirmed rumors of a spin-off, launching webisode companion drama MARVEL ORIGINS to premiere as early as next week on July 30th. The series, overseen by East, will encompass a number of miniseries detailing the origin stories of various characters in the Marvelverse.
It will launch this summer with the run of its inaugural pair of serials, ORIGINS: EMMA FROST and ORIGINS: SWITCH, which will run at the same time on different weekdays. Emma Frost featured as the primary villain in X-MEN: REBIRTH’s first Volume and as a secondary villain in the second. Switch, an original character, was introduced in the second volume and became the breakout star of the series.
Frost is written and showrun by Marvelverse writer Alden Caele, while Tom East serves as writer and showrunner on Switch. New staffer Darren Jackson serves as a consulting producer on both. Frost will conclude on August 9th, with Switch finishing a day later. East has hinted that future volumes of the series will expand on characters introduced in the third Volume of X-MEN: REBIRTH, due to air in September of this year.
Network President and showrunner of popular webisode series X-Men: Rebirth, Tom East, today announced details of the series' third volume run. Volume Three, subtitled "The Island Without Mutants", will be preceded by three prologue episodes starting on Monday 3rd of September. The first episode of volume three will air on the 10th of September and will run for ten webisodes.
The volume picks up two weeks after the end of Volume Two where both the X-Men and the Brotherhood were captured by Bolivar Trask's forces, led by the dubious Emma Frost. The volume follows three dual narratives - the captive mutants on the titular island, the escapees Rogue and Shadowcat as well as Psylocke and Warren who were not present during the initial capture.
The regular cast will consist of Karen Gillan as 'Phoenix', Steven R. McQueen as 'Iceman', Nina Dobrev as 'Rogue', Josh Hutcherson as 'Multiple Man', Zoey Deutch as 'Shadowcat' and the former recurring stars Bianca Lawson as 'Storm' and Callan McAullife as 'Warren'.
Former regular stars Patrick Stewart and Chace Crawford will appear as 'Xavier' and 'Switch' respectively in recurring roles. They are joined by many former guest stars - Dianna Agron as 'Emma Frost', Garrett Hedlund as 'Havok', Daniel Radcliffe as 'Colossus', Jenna Ushkowitz as 'Psylocke' and John Slattery as 'Bolivar Trask'. New characters include 'President Stanley' played by Peter Coyote, 'Agent Danvers' played by Claire Holt, 'Banshee' played by Devon Murray and 'Scott Summers' played by Liam Hemsworth.
Eight of the ten episodes are written by showrunner East, with staff writer Alden Caele penning one episode and the last by a guest writer.
From Darken House creator Alden Caele, and featuring a world-class staff including The Company creator Sarah-Jane Sheppard, Malleus Maleficarum and Blood Red Shoes creator Li Robb, Fate creator Claire Rooney and Perfect's Tom East.
The story of a city forgotten by the world, except for those trapped inside. Zombies. Vampires. Werewolves. Spirits. And humans.
Unable to leave, they form a makeshift society inside The City. Attempt to build a life. That's what Shane Olson and Kellan Chase have done, using their bravery and sharp reflexes to track down food drops sent in from the outside - despite the dangers posed by the marauding undead. They've settled into a kind of post-apocalyptic domestic bliss. It's hell, but they've got each other.
But when a stranger strolls into their lives, their world spins into chaos. Setting them on a course to confront everything they think is true about themselves... and each other.
The second sequence Inside Out will start airing on Monday 31st December 2012! The sequence will continue to follow the characters of Lucas, Trevor and Kirby in both the real world and the world controlled by Nazis. Who will survive the iron fist rule of Principal Knox's Nazi world and what is the threat building in the real world - and more importantly, who will survive it all? Somebody won't escape this sequence alive...
It's time to get excited because the TEN Awards are back, this time celebrating all of the hard work of our writers over the past two years!
This time we've decided to do something different with the awards. Instead of being decided by a member of the admin staff as was done previously, this time YOU the reader gets to decide who walks away with the trophies! Inside every thread in the Awards forum is a poll where you can pick from the list of nominees and the nominee with the most votes will win!
The two previous winners of Best Virtual Series, Caydem Falls and Darken House go head to head this time around - but will new shows such as Knight's Haven or Inside Out steal the ultimate award from under their feet? Only you can make that decision!
You have until February 12th to vote for your favourite virtual series so hop to it, time's already running out!
