PLEASE NOTE: Schedule may change at, unfortunately, random times due to school. Huge exam preparations, and things like that, are my main priority this year, and I hope you can all be patient with me this year if things get in the way of a certain episode airing. Thanks guys!

Exclusive: Reunion in the Works? For a year now, Clark Kent is under the impression that his best friend, Chloe Sullivan, is dead. After losing hope, Allison Mack has exclusively told us the producers have made a deal with Tom Welling to bring him back on the show. "Its going to be fun working with Tom again, especially with the tables turned," Mack told VSGuide, "I think, touching on their friendship and where they are now will be fun. Its definately something to look forward to." With news of Laura Vandervoort's "Supergirl" coming onto the show [for a two-episode arc], and the long list of returning guest stars who make up the Justice League, will we be seeing Superman in the anticipated mid-season finale "War?" "We're still working that out," producers told us, "we have Tom signed on for the one episode, and whether or not he wants to come back earlier than expected, that's up to him at this point. But the story we've got planned very much stands on its own." The producers tell us that he'll return at a point in Chloe's life where she really needs her best friend, and a little inspiration. Excited about Clark Kent returning? Sound off below!

In terms of Chloe and Oliver's future, I think I'm on shaky ground with some readers for bringing Dinah on board in a regular spot. All I'll say, which I've continued to say since the start of the season: I have a huge season long storyline planned for Chloe/Oliver that doesn't involve any third parties. oh thank you soooo much!!! i really don't like Dinah...perhaps because my knowledge of her character is based on smallville.... but I'm very excited about Kara!! i really love her...i'm happy she will appear in the show even if only for 2 episodes ;D

I'm a huge fan of Black Canary, the character's personality for 'Dinah' on Smallville, especially in "Collateral" was done poorly. They used her as an antagonist for Chloe, and Lois, which didn't do her justice. I think (hope) you'll like how she is on 'Watchtower.' And I hope those that are fans of Chloe/Oliver don't feel threatened or dislike her because of the comics.

Yeah, i was a bit meh about Dinah on Smallville but I love her characterisation in Watchtower. As I have mentioned multiple times, 'Prey' was my favourite episode of the first season

Exclusive: Is Emil Good or Evil? Emil Hamilton has always been a shady character in the comics, going from good to evil, and back again, but the producers inform us they have an endgame set: "You'll definately see where he stands, despite the fact he's a clone of the original man." Alessandro Juliani finally tells VSGuide some news on his arc this season. After spending the majority of last season as the big villain, we'll be seeing a whole new side to the character, one more in touch with his personality on Smallville. "Emil returns with information that could help the team, but they need to trust him before he can just give it away, otherwise they just won't take it as seriously, or believe him," actor Alessandro Juliani told VSGuide. "I'm currently shooting my second episode of the season. Its been a lot of fun so far." What can we expect Emil to be up to this season? Will Chloe ever really trust him? "The fun thing about their relationship this season is that Chloe is paranoid that Emil is still alive, she doesn't know what's going on. And just as Scarecrow ["Fear" introduces DC Comics Villain Scarecrow into the universe] enters the picture, things heat up," Juliani teased. "Emil and Chloe finally come face to face, but she's not sure who is real, the one trying to help her, or destroy her." Some fans are disappointed that he's in a limited amount of episodes this season, and were hoping to see a slow path to redemption. In just five episodes, can he be redeemed? Or is he ultimately beyond redemption at this point? "All I can say is that a lot happens with Emil in just five episodes. Granted, the first really just sets up his return, but his story is really fleshed out in such a limited capacity," he promises, excited to tackle his arc for the season. "The producers have confronted me about how things will wrap up for Emil, and we're currently discussing ways of concluding his arc. They're very collaborative, and I'm very appreciative they gave me the opportunity to express how I felt this character should end." He laughed, "that's not to say they'll do what I want." "I've had a fun ride with this show, its been great," the actor concluded, "and I'm happy that I get to work with almost everyone this season, to sort of say goodbye. And Chloe's influence on him will definately be shown in his final hours." Excited to see how Emil's arc plays out? Do you think he's good or evil? Sound off below!

Yeah, i was a bit meh about Dinah on Smallville but I love her characterisation in Watchtower. As I have mentioned multiple times, 'Prey' was my favourite episode of the first season Oh, yay! I loved Dinah in "Odyssey." I think there was something about her that just sparked my interest. But then things sort of went downhill. I've always said Black Canary is a kickass superhero, but the personality of Dinah portrayed on Smallville is very hard to get behind. She's kind of a bitch, sometimes. I still can't believe, thinking it was the real world, she was going to kill Chloe with that knife. And thank you! I'm glad you liked that episode, I think that was the one episode out of the whole season I had a tough time trying to finish and get done, so I'm glad it paid off for you LOL. I think the episode I had most fun writing in season one was probably "Trial" and "Legend." Introducing the show in the pilot was the most fun I've had writing a script, but I'm more happy about the outcome of "Trial" as an episode. I've always loved watching "Boston Legal" and "Ally McBeal" and all those lawyer type shows, so I really wanted to do a 'on trial' kind of episode. Whoa, kind of went off topic there, sorry. Hahaha.

Eh, I'm so over Emil. I hate yo-yoing characters. One minute they're good, the next they're evil, I find it really annoying. I really hope that this season his character gets sorted out, and quickly. He's definitely been one of my least favourite characters in Watchtower. Sorry Jack

He's definitely been one of my least favourite characters in Watchtower. Sorry Jack LOL. Its cool. That's what he's here for in season two, to get sorted out (the five episodes = quickly). Is it bad that I kind of love feedback on characters no matter good or bad? Any kind of feedback I love, but on characters especially! Basically, I felt the way Emil was wrapped up last season didn't give me closure, and I figured 5 episodes is enough to really do him justice. That said, he IS a supporting character this year, and not in the spotlight a great deal -- in terms of having whole episodes dedicated to developing him, he will do so in the main plot of an episode, that isn't based around HIS character.

I'm totally the same, don't worry That's part of the reason I can't wait to start airing Edge of Vision, I love feedback, especially character feedback. It's the characters that really make a show work in my opinion.

It's the characters that really make a show work in my opinion. I can't wait for Edge of Vision! I'm excited because its the most unique show the VPN has ever been pitched, and the most exciting pilot I've read in a long time! And yes, characters really do make a show work. Especially when you can relate, or connect with the characters on some level - its even better. I love character feedback more than 'story' feedback. Both are very important to me, but I'm a huge fan of character development, and like to know how people are liking/disliking a certain direction a character is going, where they think its heading, and what could be better, or if its just what they wanted to happen. Watchtower is a lot more interesting to write for this season because all the characters are heading in different directions, like Helena for example, she's trying to lead a normal life and that opens the show up to more 'human' elements; and there's Bruce who is stepping into his 'Dark Knight' role this season, so yeah. Development has always been my favourite thing! I'm rambling again, sorry. LOL

Not going to quote that because it was quite long, but yes, character development is awesome. I'm a very character driven person in both my writing and my reading. With my writing it's great because it means I have such a good understanding of my characters and I feel it really improves the quality of the work. With reading it's probably not so good because I get fixated on my favourite characters and then tend to get bored when the story veers away from them for a while XD But you're kind of spoiled for choice with Watchtower, aren't you? So many fantastic characters to work with and a lot of them with already established history that you can draw from. I don't think I could ever write a spin off series of something unless I was quite obsessed with it though. I tend to hate researching things, prefer to make everything up from scratch

Some shows that Chris and I have worked on together and made actual pilots for have been fun, especially supernatural genres where we create our own mythology and world. I hope to do a show like that on my own one day, once Watchtower is finished. But you're right, you have to be totally obsessed with it, and like anything you're writing, you have to love your characters. That's one reason I couldn't get back into the 'Buffy' mode to continue the 'continuation' after the first episode. I got too invested in the Smallville world that I couldn't juggle both already established characters.
One of the funnest things with Watchtower is grabbing DC Comic Characters that haven't been introduced into the 'universe' yet, or creating original characters (can't exactly use Guido for an example, but he is definately original in the sense I've created his own personality, story, etc, as he is dead in the comic books).
