Preview of "Escape" An airdate is yet to be announced. The Network has released an exclusive preview of the penultimate episode of the season, featuring Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, with Joseph Gordon-Levitt as the Joker, and Nicki Minaj as Harleen Quinzell. The scene involves an intense conversation between the Bat and his Butler. "Its been a struggle for Bruce to accept, and offer help in his role as this vigilante figure," series creator, Jack Malone, told VSGuide, "And this episode really delves into that as we approach that season finale." Wow Jack, That looks awesome In the preview, The way the "Harley Quinn" subject is handled, It makes it seem that she play a more pivotal role. is this the case or am I over thinking it?

So that was the best preview I have read. I honesty can not wait for this and te season finale Thanks, Karl! One of the huge issues in Bruce's life, in regards to his work as a vigilante, is that he doesn't let anyone in and that was the main arc that I wanted to look at (introduced very early on). Even though its not necessarily leading towards him getting a boy wonder sidekick, there's still Gordon, and other elements that haven't exactly been established to the fullest and that's what the last two episodes does for Bruce. I'm really excited because next season, we'll finally get THE BATMAN, and I can't wait to start writing that.

Yeah, she's the main antagonist of this episode, and so she's in the spotlight a little more. I thought, considering "Birth" looked at the Joker origin a little briefly, this one can look at Harley's background. She also kind of reflects the kind of power Joker has over people - this brilliant and intelligent woman was transformed into this ditsy, villainous creature. And she sort of proves her worth in this one so that when we go into the finale, The Joker and Harley Quinn have really solidified themselves as our heroes' main threat - one that won't be stopped without a pretty brutal showdown. XD

I'm glad that you are taking the time to establish his other relationships before you ever go near him working with the sidekicks. And I'm honestly ready to see Harley and the Joker enact there endgame

I'd like to see The Suicide Squad and The JLA team up to stop the Joker and Harley Quinn. I truthfully think that a 1-on-1 fight between The Joker and Impulse and a cat fight between Harley and Plastique would be awesome. Speaking of which, with the SS and JLA be appearing again any time soon?

Speaking of which, with the SS and JLA be appearing again any time soon? The showdown against Harley Quinn and The Joker is very much internal - its with our central characters. Sadly, both Impulse and Plastique died in the two parter, "War", and since then, both teams have been absent, and they won't be back this season. We might hear more about Superman, and some of the other league members in "Escape", and find out what they've been up to/where they are, because what The Joker has in store for Gotham is definitely going to shock its neighbouring cities. There has to be a pretty solid reason why Superman can't step in and save everyone (like he did in "War"). Emil Hamilton will be back in the finale, but he's the only Suicide Squad member, and he plays a pretty important role. Its a small, but pivotal moment. But other than that, there'll be no more appearances for the SS or JLA.

I honestly think Dinah should go looking for them and the JSA. And give them a swift kick in the rear. Or maybe I could do it.haha Im telling you Jack. Just write me in an episode of WT and have me go on a quest to bring the League back together .

I had a lot of fun with bringing Tess in for those two episodes, even if she was just an hallucination, so if I ever had the chance to write for her again, that would be great! But, she's not the person I have in mind at the moment. And Kara will be appearing on Trinity, so she's very much Chris' territory. I wouldn't know what to do with Supergirl on this show, haha.
