If you don't know this, you should know it now. A website by the name of Wikileaks, created and operated by Julian Assange, is responsible for, "leaking," information about the US government that all American citizens should know. Because of him, he has started a war against the freedom of the press and mass media in which our greatest opponent is the government that is suppose to protect out rights to speak.
In late of this year, this man was alleged to have raped and sexually assaulted two women whom have, in countless messages between one another, waged "revenge," against him. Now normally this process becomes easy, allege the issue, indict, trial, conviction and finally arraignment. Because he is an Australian national, he must be extradited to the country in which the allegation was made.
If convicted, he will be sent to Guantanamo Bay or will get the death penalty. Some will say, he raped, well we don't know that yet. And second of all, we send war criminals and HUGE drag cartel leaders and universal war criminals like Saddam to this terrible prison. Why the HELL are they gonna sens, a then, convicted rapist of ONE woman. We cannot even give Charles Manson the death penalty, but we can this one dude? Because the US government considers him a terrorist, and before this allegation, have said in countless records that he needs to be: "put to death."
After that long speech, in order to battle this serious injustice, the next time someone tells you not to do something that involves your right to exorcise freedom of speech, stand up and do it anyways. We cannot help Assange, whether we want to or not, but we have to right to help ourselves. Continue being free people. It's our RIGHT.
