Parrish is some kind of Phoenix, right? I hope we'll learn more about him. I can't wait for the show to return, and I'm crossing my fingers for more scenes between the girls, and perhaps include Lydia a bit more since I feel, except Stiles, she's been a bit cast aside since what happened to Allison. Off topic but it's still MTV, will anyone be watching Scream?

Yeah, I hope we learn about Parrish and just exactly what he is this season.
See, I don't think Lydia has been cast to the side, at least not in comparison to characters like Kira, who didn't do anything besides touch a rock in the season finale. Lydia did a lot in season 4; she had her own arc, and she was a major player in the Benefactor storyline and unlocking the codes. Could she have been in it more, absolutely, but I don't think she was ignored or anything, not like some of the critiques I've seen. Season Five looks to be another big role for Lydia, especially with some of the promos we've seen!
Don't know about Scream yet, haha. Might have to wait and see with that one.

No, I see what you mean and I agree, Lydia WAS indeed involved with the supernatural storylines of the past season, but I feel like she isn't that included friendship-wise. The only person she really shares scenes with and seems close to is Stiles. I just wish she might closer to Malia or Kira (but that's just me, I'm always asking for more female bonding haha). But other than that, yes, I'm excited for this season because it seems to be more Lydia-centric that before, and that's good.
Haha OK, well I've been waiting for it a while now. I was a big fan of the movie franchise since I was a little kid, so I'm hoping it'll be good. If it's a bit along the lines of Harper's Island, then I'm fine with it, perfect for summer season.

I'm so happy because Jeff Davis said there's going to be a focus on Malia/Lydia/Kira and I'm so here for it.

Yeah this season already has me on my toes. It really reminds me of S2 and 1. It's also nice knowing that even though there is a split, there will be one singular story. I'm just nervous about how all the characters will end up. But it's also great in a sense that it is testing them in a way that I never thought Jeff Davis would do. Now all I need is Allison to come back.

catching up on S5 at the moment, after rewatching S3 and S4 back to back I know they're only recurring characters, but I'm kinda shipping Brett/Mason after Ep 4 and seeing that Brett might be bisexual, given the way the scene was played at the club. Would that be Brason, or Mett?? My only annoyance with Mason is that he has essentially replaced Danny as 'the token gay' character, although I do like his whole friendship with Liam, especially now he's 'in the know'. I can understand why Danny faded away - he wasn't exactly 'friends' with anyone in the main group - he was always Jackson's friend, and was pretty much on the sidelines. But it would have been fun to see how much he actually knew about the supernatural - his whole comment of "dude, it's Beacon Hills" always makes me smile when I rewatch the S3 finale.

Brason is my newest OTP on that show, it's not even funny. Also, I love both Danny and Mason as characters, and even though I miss Danny, I don't think Mason 'replaced' him or should be called a "token gay character." In the span of not even ten episodes, Mason has had more development and involvement in the show than Danny had in 3 seasons. And while I believe the writers were being lazy and definitely could have done more with Danny, him and Mason are two completely different characters that I don't think should be compared based solely on their sexuality. But this season has been pretty good so far, aside from Scott, Stiles and others acting completely out of character just for the sake of stirring up drama. It's really frustrating me, but we'll see how it goes.

I need to get caught up on this show but Netflix took it off. Grr. I miss watching it. I think I'm clear back on Season 3 but Netflix had to go and be a pain and take it off. I think I missed a lot.

I know that Mason is supposedly getting a love interest, in the form of Cody, the new Chimera, but I'm still holding out for more Brason scenes - that one on the bleachers, talking about Hayden and Liam's past, with Brett in his adorable Devenford Prep uniform, aww, sooo cute!! But I'm wondering whose decision it was to cut Shelley Hennig's hair - that bob does not suit her or Malia at all, but the longer hair look she sported before was perfect for the character, imho. By the way... did anyone else notice that the scene with the Jeep being flipped over, with Stiles laying unconscious on it before Theo pulled him to safety, was the match for Lydia's 'Stiles-flash' in the premiere? I wonder if that means all those other flashs will happen at odd times during the season? Could Kira be leaving mid-season perhaps? I read that Jeff Davies said in an interview that we won't have to wait till the last episode of Season 5 for time to catch up with that Lydia pre-titles scene, so who knows when we'll see those flash-forward scenes play out. Speaking of that scene, does anyone else wonder how Valack goes from patient to on-staff?! Could that all have been some kind of hallucination itself? Personally, I'm looking forward to a) seeing who will be cast as the Desert Wolf, and b) just what Theo's real story is.

Already, I feel like this season of Teen Wolf will be my favorite since season two! Boy oh boy, I couldn't have been more wrong about this season. 5A was definitely one of my least favorite seasons so far. Just hoping 5B can't get any worse.
