EXCLUSIVE: BITTEN: MEET THE HENDRICKS With the premiere of Bitten looming within just over a weeks time the question on everyone's mind is what can we expect in it's premiere season? Show creator, Darrin McCann, sat down to explain a few key things that will be discussed. “Expect history. Not just Will and Gwen's but all of our characters as well as how werewolves came to be. The first season is all about the Adlers and their lineage. It's also about these other characters and how they are all connected, because, trust me, they're all connected in some shape or other.”We asked Darrin if he could explain the King's guards, The Order, and he had this to say: “Yeah, The Order is a disciplined group of werewolves who follow the King's direct order. Two of them we'll be meeting are the Hendricks. Lincoln and Isin are father and son. Both are members of the King's Order but are different. Lincoln, the father, follows the King with blind obedience, no questions, just does as he's told. Isin's different. He has opinions, and he's blinded by his emotions especially when it concerns the Adler siblings. Both are Generals however it's Lincoln who is ultimately the King's right hand. This definitely causes problems.”Signing on to play such militarize characters is Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad, Revolution) and Colmubus Short (Stomp the Yard, The Losers). From what we've heard, expect these two characters to stick around after their introductions. What do you think about the new additions to the Bitten cast? EXCLUSIVE NEWS: BITTEN RECAST & THE KING REVEALED With Bitten currently on hiatus, return date pending, you'd think all would be quiet from Crescent Bay's neck of the woods... And that couldn't be further from it. Insiders have confirmed that Jensen Ackles has backed out of his guest spot due to scheduling conflicts. Ackles was geared to play Remus Octavius, the original werewolf King. When Bitten creator was approached, Darrin McCann had this to say: ”It's sad that we couldn't make this happen but I understand schedules and obligations. I wish Jensen the best of luck, and who knows maybe we'll see him on Bitten someday.” McCann did confirm that replacing Ackles would be none other than Eric Christian Olsen (Tru Calling, NCIS: Los Angeles). ”I think Olsen was a great choice for the role. I don't think we've ever seen him play the ultimate bad guy, and I think he'll fit the shoes quite well.”Also joining the cast is Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained, Water for Elephants). Waltz is set to star as King Pius Adler, Will and Gwen's father. So far Waltz's guest starring role is scheduled for two episodes but McCann claims that we may see more of the King. Excited about the new additions to the Bitten cast? Sound off in the discussion thread and stay tuned as we keep you up-to-date with the latest Bitten news. Airing Exclusively on theVPN.
