Having destroyed the Seed of Wonder and cut off the universe from all other dimensions and supernatural influence, Buffy Summers is a pariah among the slayer community. A swell as coping with Simone Doffler, a rogue slayer who wants her dead, Buffy must also deal with the loss of her Watcher, Giles, and the consequences of the End of Magic. And when a new Big Bad comes onto the scene, things go from bad to worse for out favorite slayer.

Buffy Summers used to be the only girl in the world with the power of the slayer, but to stop The First Evil from taking over she, along with her friends, gifted all the girls in the world with the potential to become a slayer. Then, during another apocalypse, she destroyed the Seed of Wonder, causing the End of Magic. Now, living in San Francisco, she is going back to her roots, living a normal life during the day and fighting vampires at night. But, when the new Big Bad threatens her sisters life, Buffy must put her issues to one side to take it on. If she can.


Alyson Hannigan as Willow Rosenberg

Willow Rosenberg was once an all-powerful witch, then an all-powerful force of darkness, then an all-powerful goddess and, now, she is just a regular human. She is constantly trying to warn Buffy of the consequences of removing the worlds "heart" and is looking for a way to restore magic. At some point in the future, she went dark again, so who knows what destiny has in store for everyones favorite lesbian witch.

Nicholas Brendan as Xander Harris

Xander Harris is one of Buffy's closest friends. He has always been there to help her and there for her when she needed him. He is a skilled carpenter and knows how to whittle a fine stake or two. He has survived many an apocalypse and is currently dating Buffy's little sister. During a fight against Simone Doffler, he is left temporarily left in a wheelchair.

Michelle Trachtenberg as Dawn Summers

Once a mystical Key that could break down the barriers between dimensions, Dawn is now studying demonology at college whilst trying to maintain a regular life with Xander. But when her father returns to her life and then her mothers ghost visits her, Dawn realises that her life will never be the same

1. Powerless: Buffy is still grieving the loss of her Watcher, when she is contacted by Andrew who tells her she is being hunted by Simone Doffler, a rogue slayer who wants her dead. Willow is reunited with Kennedy, who tells her that evil is coming and it wants Willow dead. Xander meets and old friend and dawn is approaced by her father, who wants to re-establish his relationship with his daughters.

2. Hollow: Buffy is missing and the gang must find out where she is before its too late. Willow encounters an agent of the new Big Bad and Dawn is visited by the ghost of her mother.

3. Daddy: Dawn is still visiting her father in secret when Buffy tells her that she is thinking about getting back in touch with him. Meanwhile, Simone arrives in San Fran looking to cause some trouble for the Scoobies.

4. William: In 1910, Spike and Dru murdered guests at a hotel in San Fransisco. Now, Spike has returned with Dru in tow. But somethings not right. Has the vampire with a soul gone bad again?

5. Dark Inside: Simone attacks Buffy and Co. causing one life to be changed forever.

6. Brand New Day: Amy Madison returns looking for help from Willow. She claims to have information that could help restore magic. But is she telling the truth? Meanwhile, Xander and Dawn must deal with the events of the previous episode.

7. Imperious: Buffy comes face-to-face with the new big bad, Imperious, who wants to restore magic so he can merge all the dimensions and create the ultimate hell.

While I am an avid Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan, I am not sure of the necessity of another BtVS virtual season/series. There have been a plethora of BtVS continuations and spin-offs around the internet, some good, some bad, but that was quite a few years ago. The Buffy fan base is still very active, but Joss and Dark Horse are doing a Season 9 comic book, so there does not seem to be a need for another Season 9.

But, like I said I am an avid Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan and will take a look at anything that involves my favorite group of people. If you really want to pursue this series then I think you should try to make it your own, rather than relating to the comic books. Buffy has a large mythology, and it can be added to so easily in a virtual series, so there are plenty of paths you could take in an original story.

I would also advise to stick to the show you care most about. You have almost the entire cast of characters from Angel "returning" on this season of BtVS. Since you are pitching this as a Season 9 of BtVS then I would stick to focusing on that group of characters, rather than adding the Angel cast to the plate as well.

Thanks for the response. What I'm trying to do is make a (hopefully) better season 9 as i feel that they havent dealt with it in a good enough way, I'm going to make it very different. The only reason Simone is in it is because her story needs to be tied up following season 8 . As for the Angel characters, what I'm trying to do is re-establish them in the Buffy-verse since they've been gone (timeline wise) since the IDW series. After they've been brought back and shown how the End of Magic has affected them, then I will probably return them to Angel

I see your points and I really do look forward to seeing more of this pitch. I have not caught up on the Season 9 comic, so this could be very interesting for me. As for the Angel cast, you may not need all of them to appear in your season of Buffy to get that message across; but if it works in your story then by all means have them appear.

They do have an important part to play in the storyline, not like the Angel & Faith comics where, to me, they're bringing back Connor just because they want to take the characters to Quor Toth
