^Wow! That teaser was fantastic, Chris. Your writing is brilliant (nothing new, this). But what I really loved about this is the little things you feature... the reporter and her power-based "equipment", the two men flying, the teleporting mom. The energy bolts. It all comes off so casual. They could have just as well been firing bullets, and it really gives it this "The world against him" feeling.
^ Wow, thanks Amin for your thoughts on the teaser. I'm really glad you liked it.
The casualness of the powers being used is something I really wanted to establish early on. I want to make it easier for the readers to understand the "average human being" and the social norms of this universe. Really hope I can succeed in doing that with the rest of the episode, as well as future episodes
I don't know why I have not commented on this yet, but AWESOME JOB Chris! I really enjoy the concept of this pitch (I mean, anything superhero will attract me) because you completely change the premise of a "superhero show". I enjoyed the teaser as well and can really see the casualness that you are trying to create. I cannot wait to read more of this show! Best of luck.

Just read the teaser and Oh. My. God. Chris, that was amazing. Which, all of your stuff is but I feel the need to state that again XD It paints a clear picture, and like Amin said, it's all so casual. You did a fantastic job of setting up the world you're trying to show us. It flowed flawlessly in my opinion, and just...wow. I can't wait to see your entire pilot, Chris.
Am I allowed to say this already has my vote? Jk,jk. But, really.... XD

Chris, I'm pretty sure this is one of your best ideas! At least, this is one of my favorite ideas from you, and you've had some pretty brilliant ones.
The idea of a world where people with abilities are the dominant species, and 'us' -- the Strangers, are being feared and hunted across the globe, is really interesting, because it's a story that many superhero shows/films/comic books/etc... can go, but just don't (To my knowledge, at least) This gives you free reign and allows you to tell a truly original, and entertaining story.
Really looking forward to reading the rest of the pilot, as the teaser was outstanding.
