All I got to say is hooray I'm excited for the new seasons. But the one thing I wish for the next season, is that Hope 2.0 comes to visit and that we get an episode where the original Team Watchtower (Chloe,Oliver,Helena,Mia,and Bruce) all team up for one last mission together. I mean Season 1 was a treat because of the fact that the home team in Gotham was so small and that they were a close knit unit. And it would be nice to revisit that. Also check your inbox. I have to ask you something There's still a chance that Hope might resurface this season. I've still got seven more episodes to break, and ideas have been running around in my head to revisit her before the season ends. The really cool thing about Hope is that I recently figured out her future and what her purpose will grow to become, and what that means for Chloe as well. It took a while, but I eventually got there. There are hints towards it that will be peppered throughout this season, and next, and so there's still a lot of Hope to come, I promise Getting back to Chloe, Oliver, Helena, Mia and Bruce would be great. It's officially on the bucket list Best news I have heard all day . And I'm glad you like the idea of a reunion of the s1 gang. I already have the perfect episode. I call dibs on writing it with you!!!

Just finished editing "Condemned." Holy shit. I feel kinda bad about going on another break after this episode, but I promise to try and keep the last seven episodes in a run of its own, heading into that finale. Hope you guys are going to enjoy this last episode of the mid-season run, and everything lives up to expectations. Thanks for tuning in

Spoilers for "Overload"
- The episode is expected to be a huge Helena and Kyle episode. - DC Comics' Count Vertigo makes his first appearance on the show in this episode. He was previously referenced in the eighth episode of the season, titled "Hope", and is set to appear as a catalyst for the events of the back seven episodes to unfold. He is said to share a past with both Emil Hamilton (Alessandro Juliani) and more surprisingly, Helena (Kayla Ewell). - Bryan Greenberg told VSGuide that Kyle had been walking the line between good and evil all season, and now we're going to see him forge his own path, away from the team and away from Chloe. "He's making his own choices now, and believes that Talia has been the most honest with him since day one, so he's finding that he can trust her more than anyone out of Team Watchtower" Greenberg told of the upcoming storyline, "He kind of joins forces with her in [episode fifteen], and she's genuinely trying to help him become stronger." - Producers tease an upcoming romance between Vicki and Ethan Bennett, telling VSGuide that over the course of the last seven episodes, they will be constantly coming into each other's orbit and a potential romance could be the result of it. - Following the events of the mid-season arc, Hush is no longer invincible. "For the past fourteen episodes, Hush has been this ominous, lurking-in-the-shadows kind of baddie that we haven't been able to connect with or understand," Malone said of the season's big bad, "In stripping him of his powers and essentially his key to immortality, we'll get to humanise him going into these final episodes." Despite Selina's big move, the team is still very far from stopping him as Malone reminded us, "He still has his army to unleash, and there's quite a few more tricks up his sleeve. The war, in his mind, has only just started." - Helena owes Count Vertigo a favour, which she will fulfil in this episode. - Michael McKean told VSGuide that Perry will be preparing to say his farewells in this episode, sharing scenes with the three most important people in his life: Chloe (Allison Mack), Vicki (Yvonne Strahovski) and Kahn (Carrie Fisher). As the episode rolls to a close, he will be faced with one important decision: Will he stay and fight alongside his team or go and fulfil his dreams as Editor-in-Chief once and for all? - Hugo Strange will return in this episode, and plays a pivotal role in both the past and the present. - The Fate helmet makes a surprising return. - It sounds as though no one -- aside from Talia and Hush -- will know of Selina's demise. - Bruce will declare war against Hush in this episode. - Serinda Swan guest stars as Zatanna. The character was last seen in the mid-season finale, "Sacrifice," where she redeemed herself for the team. Now, she will return upon request from Chloe (Allison Mack) who needs her help in locating Kyle.

Also im really glad that you're going to make Kyle his own Hero away from Team Watchtower. And I cant wait to see what you do with Dr. Fate!! It's not a very good situation for Talia to be in. She's kind of disconnected from everyone in "Overload," so she doesn't know about Bruce being back from the great beyond. But when she learns that he is, she'll start to realise the weight of what she's done and how she can never go back. Kyle is definitely embarking on his own storyline outside of Team Watchtower in the back seven episodes of the season. Whether he comes back around at the end or not is a question to be answered, but he's definitely still determined to defeat Hush, just without being seen as a weapon for the team to aim in his direction. Talia is going to genuinely try to help him and guide him towards defeating Hush, and has his back every step of the way in doing so... with some complications, of course. The Fate helmet will be back! Woo! And another big mystery of the series -- to be answered in the final season -- is who is the new Doctor Fate? Who takes over? Hints of that question begin in an episode actually titled "Fate" happening this season

I'm more excited about the Bruce/Talia drama going on. I just knew when you killed Bruce there was obviously going to be and intense smallville like cat fight...........and you sir are A GOD . I was literally hooked on that scene all the way to end. Thank you. I have waited 2 seasons for a proper female brawl Also....I know who Dr.Fate is. So you might as well tell me. I'll keep it a secret!

Honestly, Kyle's a character who has pretty much stuck to the original notes I've had for him since the end of season two (in mapping out this third season). There's been some alterations -- such as killing that civilian and having Zatanna mind wipe him from it and how that escalated into the big climax for her storyline -- but it's pretty much remained the same, and I've enjoyed putting those notes to script. I'm glad he's being well received. With Bruce, he's kind of been running away from The Batman identity this season. Maybe Kyle and Batman can work together in Season Four when Bruce has really solidified his role as The Batman (which is what's coming in the back half of this season). I remember teasing a cat fight in episode fourteen. I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was complicated writing it because there was a big fight between Selina and Hush like an act before, and I wanted it to be bigger than that, so it was difficult trying to figure out how that sequence would go and what would be involved, but I'm glad you liked the end result. There's still a bit of story left to tell with Selina this season, but in whatever capacity, my lips are sealed You totally don't know who Doctor Fate is -- I'm like 90% sure you'll never guess it

As for Bruce.....I'm glad he'll be skating back to the Bat Suit. I'm honestly scared as to how he is gunna take Selina's permanent cat nap. I mean I ship Selina/Bruce so he better at least be on a manhunt for Talia. And also I feel bad for Kitty. When is she gunna come back for some revenge? And its obvious who it is. And before you say it, I know its not Perry no matter how much you dangle that option. First two seasons I was thinking.... Mmmm.....maybe. But now....not so much. But I'm happy for the challenge in figuring it out.

But I'm happy for the challenge in figuring it out. There's only room for development outside of Team Watchtower again, and we can only hope he finds his way back sooner rather than later You'll definitely see Kitty back before the end of the season. As for Bruce, should he find out about Talia's involvement and subsequently Selina's death, I don't see the two coming into combat. I think seeing how much Talia has hurt him, and him making it known that he'll never want to see her again, and will cast her aside as a result... that'll be the worst thing for Talia. With their dynamic, I wanted the first half of the season to really show how he inspired Talia to get out of her father's shadow and to not just go with what she's always known to do. So she was desperate to get rid of Doomsday, and stop what she had done, and now she's desperate to defeat Hush who is essentially going to do what she was doing with Doomsday, and that's all kind of thanks to Bruce. So I think we're looking at an emotional blow rather than a physical and threatening one. My lips are sealed, buddy. Answer won't be coming until the final season Also, Perry does have a lot to do with the Fate storyline, and he will definitely find out who Doctor Fate is in 319 "Fate" however, the audience will not.

Also quick question, since Chloe's bday is in Countdown, any chance that Knecklace that she gave Lois going to "pop" or at least be mentioned? I know it seems like such a mundane thing, but it must mean some significance since its something Chloe gave to Lois as a something borrowed back in Season 10.

The necklace won't be brought up, only because within their own timeline it wouldn't be organic. But I love that you remind me of little things like that, so who knows. If I find a place for it, I might put it in there for you Lois will definitely be involved in the fiftieth episode, and she'll also be involved in 319, titled "Fate."
