Even though Jack D. Malone's "Story of a Girl" never saw the light of day on The VPN, the series was primed to become one of the network's most beloved dramas with its familiar, yet intriguing concept, and its diverse set of characters. The series was picked up in 2010, and followed Sam Cassiday as Veraville High's latest arrival. This clever new series finds a young journalist-to-be struggling in this new town with her new friends, Amy, Rachel, Carl, and the guy of her dreams, Josh.
