Summary: The Deetzs are an ordinary family just moved to the small town of Peaceful Pines, after losing their oldest daughter in an accident. Now at their new home things can be normal, but their daughter, Lydia, sees ghosts. Also Lydia has an encounter with a familiar ghost named Beetlejuice, and the weirdness begins.
Writer's Note: This series is a reboot and a mix of the Movie and the animated series with characters from both incarnations.
Cast:
Miranda Cosgrove as Lydia Deetz: Lydia is the youngest of the once Deetz sisters, until the death of her older sister in an accident. Lydia is a Goth who has strange seeing of ghosts, until she meets Beetlejuice.
Holly Hunter as Delia Deetz: Delia is the artist of the family, and is still cooping with the passing of her oldest daughter.
Dakota Fanning as Claire Brewster: Claire is the spoiled brat daughter of the Brewster family, and rival of Lydia. The Brewsters are wealthy and have been in Peaceful Pines for years.
Jim Carrey as Cornelius Beetlejuice: Once a great man, now the ghostly servant to the mysterious Dark One, Beetlejuice is a prankster and con man who wants to get away from his former life. But will The Ghost With The Most meeting with Lydia change his ways?
