Along the Path
"Six friends trying to make it in New York... wait, that's a different show." -Ginny
Along the Path follows the lives of four NYC best friends; Rachel, Ginny, Josh, and Mike. Mike and Josh are brothers, Ginny and Rachel are best friends, Rachel and Josh are engaged, and they all live in the same New York apartment building.
Ginny (portrayed by Analeigh Tipton)
Ginny is your typical "All-American Girl". She works at a local hospital as a nurse. She's good-intentioned and sweet natured, but loves to have a good time. She and Rachel have been best friends since the 9th grade after a begrudging homecoming incident they dare not speak of. The two share an apartment together across the hall from Mike and Josh. She has always had a crush on Mike since the day they met at college.
Rachel (portrayed by Mandy Moore)
Rachel is another stereotypical girl, but she is nothing like Ginny. Rachel is a bartender, and a very good one at that. Partying and family are first priority for Rachel. She is engaged to Josh, her neighbor.
Josh (portrayed by Ryan Hansen)
Josh is pretty plain and simple. He is the anchor for a news station. He was an all-state football player, and even did show choir, the kind of boy your parents would want you to date. He and Rachel have been engaged for 5 months and plan on getting married as soon as possible.
Mike (portrayed by Aaron Tveit)
Mike was a mistake to his parents. They didn't intend to get pregnant and so they didn't pay much attention to Mike as he grew up, but let him do his own thing. He and Ginny met in college and he secretly fell in love with her, but he couldn't let her know. He and his brother have a great relationship that has been growing since they moved in together.

I know what you're saying right now: how cliché can this get? But that was the whole point of the thing, to be cliché. This series has been a whole year in the making, and I finally decided to just make a pitch and put it together. My vision for this is to basically lampoon regular sitcoms in a sitcom format to be very satirical and ironic. I know I haven't posted in a while but I hope that you guys like this. P.S. I intend on finishing this and eventually having it moved to the regular pitching section so be watching!
