NOTES: This is the rebooted first season for The DIU, I completely reworked the story. The first season is set to contain 8 episodes, I felt like that was the perfect amount of episode's to tell this story, there's only a couple of monster of the week type stories, the rest will be advancing the plot, and delving into these four character's.
I also did notice a lack in diversity, which I plan to course correct moving forward. The Outline is complete for the first episode, so it will be up by the end of the weekend. The story will be very different from what anyone might remember, this is a little darker, more brooding, but the show's dark quality will be undercut with a love and lot of humor, this is a story about four-five people who live in a secret compound in the Nevada desert, so despite the brooding they all go through, they very much act and feel like a family.
