Welcome to Bright Springs, Washington. Where despite the name, the sun never seems to come out. It’s a town where Hank Chambers has been given a chance to live his lifelong dream as principal of a small-town school, where his daughters will attend, but things in Bright Springs aren’t all they seem a darkness lays deep beneath the town, and claws at the surface hoping to one day be free. Things begin to get worse when the Chambers arrive and they learn their destiny is tied to the fate of the worlds.

A typical 15 year old who is forced by her father to move to the small town of Bright Springs. Quinn was a bit of a loner at her old school and decides to change thing around by being a social butterfly, making friends with Lily, who leads her into troubled waters. But it's nothing compared to the waters destiny has in store for her.

A comic book lover who dig into the bizarre things that happen in Bright Springs and is normally seen as a freak by his peers for his strange beliefs and habits, he quickly locks onto Ava, and notices before others that something is off with the new girl’s little sister and takes interest in figuring out what it is.

Something has never felt quite right about Bright Springs to Lily Powell and she fills those feelings with a love of wild parties and drugs. Lily Powell is a bad influence if ever there was one. Though beneath her rough and cold exterior she fronts to the world, lays a gentle soul. One who just wants a family who loves her. Something she doesn’t get from her abusive adoptive father.

The local small town Sheriff who finds herself at a loss for answers about the bizarre things happening under her watch, and is constantly annoyed by Wes's theories. How many more bizarre things need to happen in Bright Springs before Erica realizes that something dark might have her small rainy town.
1.01 – “Welcome to…”
Quinn and Ava’s first day at Bright Springs High doesn’t get start off a to a good start, when a student who harasses Ava is found drowned in the school’s pool. Quinn opens up to rebellious Lily Powell who promises to show her the ropes of her new school and social life.
1.02 - “The Family who lives on The Lake”
Ava’s nightmares become more intense as her dreams begin to bleed into real life. Lily drags Quinn to a party which ends in disaster.
1.03 – “72 hours”
While the Chambers family deals with recent events that all seem to lead back to Ava, Wes turns to Lily for help in his investigation when he finds a disturbing photo.
1.04 – “Mine”
Hank begins to relive memories he didn’t have before. Wes and Lily question Quinn about her sister, and Ava vanishes from the hospital.
