I was browsing some other virtual series sites and even some of the threads here on the VPN and noticed quite a few places have awards for the virtual series on their network.
What I wanted to know is if the VPN has ever considered doing something like this or perhaps plans to in the future? I ask because it sounds like a really fun thing to do and would be something for our reading (non-show producing) members to get into and such.
So, opinions everyone?

I know its been discussed many times before, and the idea of doing one for our shows, and readers has come up - I think the main concern we had was pitting shows against shows. I, personally, think its a great idea, especially during hiatus' when people are waiting for their favourite shows to come back. It'd just have to be something all the showrunners can agree on.

I agree that the idea of having the shows running against each other may not always be the greatest idea (say, if one show missed out on getting an award it may upset the showrunner) but I still believe it would be a lot of fun. Also, with the amount of talent the showrunners on the VPN possess I'm sure each show would be able to take out a win in at least one category. But yes, pitting show against show could be a concern but I'm sure we could come up with a solution so that everyone is happy  |

Not everyone will be happy, but its definately something that will be a lot of fun. With the amount of different categories we could create, I'm sure it won't be too likely a show will miss out.

You could always have a bit of a dry run with the three (four if I can start airing Edge of Vision soon) shows that are on at the moment. See how things work out, how people are likely to vote etc.

I've been saying for a long time that VPN should definitely have one. It's something I've always been interested in and I think we would have a lot of fun. Maybe a test run with our 4 shows would be best before making it a "big thing."
