 Based on the comic book series of the same name, The Walking Dead tells the story of a small group of survivors living in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse. Most of the story takes place in the Atlanta metropolitan area and then the surrounding countryside of northern Georgia, as the survivors search for a safe haven away from the shuffling hordes of predatory "walkers" or "biters" (as the zombies are referred to in the show), who devour any living thing they catch, and whose bite is infectious to humans. The plot is focused primarily on the dilemmas the group faces as they struggle to balance their humanity with their survival against the zombie horde, and later, how they cope with members' being killed and deal with other human survivors they encounter, many of whom are dangerous and predatory themselves. The group is led by Rick Grimes, who was a sheriff's deputy before the zombie outbreak. At every turn they are faced with the horror of the walking zombies, the changing dynamic of their group, and hostility from the scattered remains of a struggling human populace who are focused on their own survival now that the structures of society have collapsed. |

ok sounds interesting...how many episodes have aired?? 5 or 6??? The first season has fully aired and consists of 6 episodes only, but it has been renewed for a second season of 13 episodes. |

ah ok thanks the second season it's not started yet?? Unfortunately... the second season won't be out until sometime in October from what I've heard  ... So, I'll have to savor every moment of the first season, lol. |

I love this show! It's the first zombie based television series I've seen. If there are others, I'd like to watch them as well cause zombies are just EPIC! haha Can't wait until Season Two

I've read The Walking Dead graphic novel but I've yet to watch the tv show. Hope it's as good as the comic though!

ok I've watched all the 6 episodes....it's awesome i really enjoyed it...but now....really we have to wait till October?? i hope the next season will last more than only 6 episodes  |

This show is amazing. I have very little time on my hands but when this show aired it was one me and two of my guy friends made time to watch together. Sometimes it turned into a party. We had at least ten people crammed in a tiny living room watching this show at one point in time.
It was great!

I cannot wait for season 2 xD I purposely stopped watching the Walking Dead season one at episode 3 because I knew that the process of waiting for season 2 would end with me committing suicide. haha xD But now that S2 is on its way, I'm gonna finish season 1 xD and hope for a season 3 |

^Haha, you lucky, lucky person xD I made the awful, awful mistake of watching all episodes in a row, one after the other on a late and lonely January-night... and from then on, I've been waiting, waiting, waiting ): AAAAAH, I can't WAIT anymore! >.<
