Getting Video Clips

Alright, so I use a program called Clip Extractor to get my clips and stuff from YouTube and whatnot, but I'm finding it REALLY difficult to find certain clips that I want. So I was wondering, does anyone know how to get clips straight from the DVD? The program I have to take screenshots with only takes small "gifs". I need actually video clips that I can use in promos and fan vids and stuff.

To answer you question, there are many ways to get video clips from your DVD's onto your computer. What you need, is a DVD Ripper. I use Magic DVD Ripper to rip dvds. It's a very useful, straightforward and user friendly program.
