Just finished Season 1 of my Dr. Who marathon. I have to say I really did like Chris as the 9th Doctor even if he wasn't my favorite. Some of the episodes had goofy villains but I still love them and it was a great way to re-start this series. Now on to Season 2!

Finished Season 2 just now and cried my eyes out yet AGAIN. I don't understand how this couple with such LITTLE insight into their romance can effect me so. They don't tell you much about their love and their relationship and yet you can still feel so much emotion from them. Doctor and Rose foreva!

Totally agree. Whenever I watch that episode, I can't help but cry even though I know that its coming. I'm actually trying to do a "marathon" (its more like whenever-I-have-time now that I'm back at school and in my HSC) at the moment, too. But I feel like I'm putting both it, and Torchwood, off because I'm so worried about the endings to my favourite TV couples.
For our senior muck-up photo this year, Cameron and I are going as The Doctor and Amy Pond. I would have been Rose, but her outfits aren't as recognizable as Amy's (I'm wearing her kissogram police uniform =P). Also, Cameron doesn't like her as much as I do, and prefers the Eleventh Doctor, whose fez and bow tie are also far more recognizable that Ten and Nine's clothes. The only issue we're having is that I'm going to look like a slutty police prostitute unless I'm standing next to Cameron, and even then people might now understand who we're supposed to be. XD Hopefully we'll get some photos to share with you guys!

Just finished "Journey's End" and I loved seeing the "Children of Time" all come together to help the Doctor. Doctor Donna was absolutely brilliant and I am so sad she had to leave. I loved Donna and she was so good for him when he needed a friend. Now with Series 4 over I can get to work on the rest of Bad Wolf!

I still haven't seen all of series 6. I don't know what I'm waiting for, really. I guess I'm stalling until series 7 premieres, so I won't have to be waiting for months and months for one of my favorite shows to come back

So, our Muck-Up Photo was on Tuesday. ;D As well as Cameron (who constantly changed his mind about which Doctor he wanted to be, and ended up being Ten) and I, we managed to rope more of our friends into doing it with us - so we also had a Rory and a TARDIS. Unfortunately, the TARDIS was only half done on the day, but that didn't stop other students and teachers coming up to us and gushing over our outfits. We even stuck the TARDIS outside quite a few classrooms, knocked on the door, played the materialization sound off someone's phone, then ran. XD It was the best! My hair is covering my name tag, but it said "The Girl Who Waited", and I don't know if you can see them in this picture, but I drew some tally lines on my arms as well.

Yeah, we talked about it earlier on the live chat -- I think she looks the part, but I haven't seen her act in anything before. At least, nothing I can remember. I guess we'll find out how good or bad she is once the new series airs

I honestly hadn't heard anything about a new companion until I saw you guys talking about it. XD I just googled it, and I guess she's pretty cute. I think the best part about Doctor Who cast members is that they haven't been in anything big or really accessible before we see them in the show. At least, I'd never seen or really heard of any of the actors or actresses before I see them on Doctor Who.
But I'm sure I heard somewhere that The Doctor was going to get a full-time male companion, so I'm not sure what's going on with that.

I'm excited about a new companion. I have a feeling she isn't human. And I'm glad that Amy Pond is getting the classic "tragic and heartbreaking" sendoff. The weeping angels are the PERFECT monster to be in her final episode.

But I'm sure I heard somewhere that The Doctor was going to get a full-time male companion, so I'm not sure what's going on with that. Isn't that Rory? I don't know, I got the impression that they meant a male would be the new companion, and would be by themselves with The Doctor. Maybe they ( I remembered it was some of my friends I recently got into it, so they're not up to date yet) were thinking of Rory and didn't know I had already seen stuff with him in it? That would be strange though, considering he was the one to dress up as Rory with us. XD I think it would make it pretty interesting if the new companion isn't human, that way they can explore a whole heap more avenues with stories and things. I'm confused by what you mean about Amy though, Jack. I thought her and Rory had pretty much already been sent off? I liked it, myself. Rather than just going cold turkey on them Eleven can still visit, but let them have a normal life at the same time, it's cute. Plus, didn't they already have an episode with them and the Weeping Angels? Maybe you're talking about an episode that has already been on, or I'm just way behind the eight-ball - I usually don't go looking for information about upcoming episodes and seasons because I like the surprise, to me that's what Doctor Who is about.

NEVERMIND. XD I took time out of studying to google it, and I know what's going on now, so don't mind me and my ignorance over here. What I said about Amy and Rory's last send-off still stands, however. I don't think I'm ready to cry about some "tragic" end to them. I guess I'll just have to wait and see, though.
