Rita and Zedd were a cameo because the movie wasn't about them. It was about Divatox and bringing in the next "evolution" of the Rangers -- Turbo.

Both movies were great, in my opinion. The first one may have been non-canon, but they did carry a few things over into the rest of the series of Mighty Morphin. Ivan Ooze was pretty cool, an asshole, but cool none-the-less. Despite being considered "for kids", it's one of my favorite movies to be honest. Maybe because it holds a certain place in my heart from my childhood.
Turbo is a really great movie, also, but quite honestly it was aimed more towards teenagers. Yes, Power Rangers carries that "kid show" thing with it, but the Turbo movie had more "grown up" elements in it. Divatox marrying a demon in order to harness his power was the LEAST of the "issues". Divatox's uniform is also a huge nod towards it "growing up" in that it was a VERY revealing costume considering the circumstances. They "dumbed it down" and gave her less of a revealing costume that concealed her cleavage in the show's continuation of the movie, but in the actual film...there was cleavage everywhere.
I actually really loved Turbo, and Divatox became my favorite Power Rangers villain, ever. Her and Lord Zedd are pretty much on the same level as far as I'm concerned, with Rita Repulsa directly under them.

Just finished watching Captain America all the way through, and omfg. That was an awesome movie. I've watched it before, but I wasn't paying attention and only made it halfway through. But this time, I paid attention the entire time and watched it in its entirety. And just...wow.

I agree with Brady on this. We need a little more information on the premise of this series. Where do you want this season to go? Where do you want the series as a whole to go? What brought about the change to these characters? How did they find out? What's the story behind these creatures? What are they, who are they, what can they do, etc. I'd like to know more about them.
I'd also like to know more about your characters. Who are they? What do they want? What are they like? Things like that. Give me an impression to go off of with your main characters, and even your supporting ones. And also, I'd love to see some episode descriptions. Maybe not for all of the episodes, but for a couple that'd be great.
Also, and this is just a nit-pick of mine, make sure to always spell-check. Spelling and grammar is a huge factor into whether something flies with me or not. For the most part, I think you have an interesting idea here but it needs to be fleshed out and we need to know more before we can properly critique your pitch. Regardless, good luck with this!

I like Logan Browning but she's too young to play Sheva, in my opinion. Zoe Saldana would be the perfect choice, I think, but I really liked Sheva so I hope they don't defile her by putting her in one of these shitty movies.

Divatox was dark and seductive as well, with a dark past behind her that drove her into doing what she did. Astronema was never really a favorite of mine, I didn't really like her.

Divatox was one of the best Power Rangers villains ever. She may have whined, but I mean "Diva"tox, come on. And Carol Hoyt's version of the character was pretty low-grade but Hilary Shepard Turner, the original Divatox who took up the mantle again at the end of the series, was epic. Her voice wasn't really high-pitched, at least not to me. And I thought her costume was pretty awesome. I mean, she was an intergalactic space pirate -- her attire pretty much called to be outlandish.
She was the only villain to actually come anywhere close to killing the Rangers. She forced them into space by blowing up their command center on Earth, something no one else could ever accomplish. Divatox was one of the darker and more well-thought out villains as well, and they went more in-depth with her than they ever went with any other villain. She was pretty damn epic, in my opinion.

Exclusive: "A Southern Touch" Trailer Released The network has released the first official trailer for "A Southern Touch", which will be the first episode to premiere after the show returns for it's final two episodes of this run. Is it okay if i give off some suggestions? I think it would be awesome if the mutant Cecilia Reyes, Wolverine and and villains like Lady Bullseye should appear. These are just suggetions and you don't have to use them. Also, Will there be a Phoenix saga? We have plans for lots of villains and other mutants/heroes to appear over the course of the show. However, Cecilia Reyes is one that I think I can say, almost surely, will not appear. Because her skills are mostly covered by cast members we already have, I don't think she would have any valid place in the story. As for Wolverine, I can't promise anything for or against him. And yes, as I've said before we will eventually have a Phoenix saga but it won't be for a few seasons at the least. It's too early to bring the storyline in right now. |

Alright Jack, I just finished reading "Curse" and while I can't really leave a full review right at this moment, I loved it. It was awesome all the way through -- and, wow, poor Helena. I can't wait to see how that whole thing plays out. I hope to leave a full review and read the next episode really soon. For now, I give it a 9/10.
