Chloe and Oliver: Married? At the end of February, on the hit television series Smallville, the characters of Chloe Sullivan and Oliver Queen were revealed to be married. In "Watchtower," which closely follows on from the hit CW series, the question still remains - are Chloe and Oliver married on the show? "I think they are," claims Allison Mack, happy about the way Smallville departed their characters in 'Fortune.' "I know it hasn't been addressed on the show, but I believe they are married." The little we do know about their relationship, is that Chloe left for three months, having left her life behind. And when Oliver stepped back into the picture, the flame re-ignited. "It was a great moment on Smallville, one I know the producers of Watchtower aren't trying to take away from the fans. However, Oliver and Chloe were separated for a long time, and their journey, wherever it leads them at this point in their lives, is very important." Executive Producer Chris Davis weighs in on the issue: "The way we've been looking at it, is that when Chloe decided to leave her old life behind, that included saying goodbye to Oliver and her marriage. Now, they're still rebuilding their relationship, and Oliver is at this point in his life where he's ready to propose to her. He's ready for that commitment. And he won't let her get away again." That said, previous spoilers have indicated the two encounter a road bump in the season's third episode, "Lockdown." "Speaking, as a viewer, when a couple on TV is portrayed as perfect and has very little, to no drama going on in their life, or problems that need to be solved, they become rather bland and boring," creator Jack Malone tells VSGuide, "And, when writing their relationship and fleshing it out, I didn't want that to become a problem. Chloe and Oliver face a lot of issues, but they're tackling them together. There's a beautiful scene in 'Fear' where Chloe basically tells Oliver she's ready to stick by him no matter what, and that despite their issues, and those of which are her personal struggles, she's not going to leave him again." The question is getting old, but: Will Oliver finally propose to Chloe this season, and can we expect a proper wedding? "I think that's something fans will have to stay tuned and watch to find out. There are many things this season that I don't plan on spoiling, or giving away," Executive Producer Chris Davis reluctantly dodges, "All I can say is that it [the proposal] will be addressed, and there are some great twists in their relationship coming up. Stay tuned." Watchtower returns with all new episodes May 16.

Helena Bertinelli: Hero or Civilian? After throwing in her cape and putting the superhero business behind her, Helena Bertinelli is all set for her new, normal life. This season, as she settles down with her father, Guido Bertinelli, and prowls for a job, Helena will be struggling to keep as far away from her old life as possible. But can she truly escape? "I think that's the whole essence of her arc this year," actress Kayla Ewell told VSGuide, excited about her new storyline this season, "And she's forced to make these decisions to keep as far away from that life as possible. Some, from an outside perspective, may seem harsh and cruel, and others that just make sense." Previously being teased, Chloe and Helena have an outing in the second episode of the season, trying to keep in touch. "They had a beautiful friendship that built up during the whole of the first season," Ewell admits, "It is kind of sad to see these two characters drifting apart. Chloe tries to keep in touch, but a lot of not-so-normal things happen around her, it keeps dragging Helena back into the life she's fought so hard to escape." Some people are worried that this new "arc" will push Helena's screentime down a lot - much like Elise Gatien's "Mia Dearden," who received the lowest minutes in most, if not all her episodes. "Wow. Well, this storyline is a bit of a slow cooker, you know. You can start to smell and see what's cooking, and you know where the character is going, but it takes some time to get there," Ewell explains. "But there is a lot going on with her this year, so I don't think fans need to worry." Among her quest for a normal life, Helena will be searching for a new job, will be involved in a major "game-changer," and there are hints of a future relationship. "I have been talking with the producers, and they've told me quite a lot that is going to be happening with Helena this year," Kayla Ewell shared. "Last year, I know some people wanted Helena to start a romantic relationship with someone, but I think she wasn't in the right state of mind. I think that will be tackled this season. She's much more level headed, and has a clearer look on the world. She knows exactly what she wants." Excited for Helena's new arc? Still worried about her screentime? Sound off below!

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM "KNIGHT?" BIRTH OF THE BAT | As shown in the teaser, we followed Bruce (Christian Bale) down to the batcave where we caught a glimpse of all the heat he is packing. In the follow-up from the premiere, when we return May 16 Bruce is already out there as the Dark Knight, trying to protect Gotham from the crime that lurks around every corner. "It was a lot of fun," Bale admits, "He is definately part of the main focus in the episode as he tries to come up with the perfect persona, whilst trying to track down the world's largest crime family led by Carmine Falcone." IDENTITY CRISIS | The newly introduced "Selina Kyle" will be thrown into the action when she goes snooping around Chloe's apartment, only to be caught in the crossfire of Falcone's hunt for our favourite tiny blonde. "Falcone and his men manage to kidnap Selina, mistaking her for Chloe," actress Eliza Dushku tells VSGuide, "I swear, getting kidnapped is like a right of passage on this show." Not only will she be at the forefront of this episode, but Selina's mysterious past gets a few more layers thrown in. "We definately explore Selina's past a bit more thoroughly throughout this episode," Dushku continued, "You get to see some of her well known knack for breaking and entering, as well as a direct flashback to a certain time in her life. Its been a lot of fun." FRIENDS OR FOES? | As Kayla Ewell revealed earlier in an interview, Chloe (Allison Mack) and Helena (Kayla Ewell) will be spending some quality time together this episode, unfortunately, not everything goes down as planned. "They have a bit of a falling out after what goes down on their little girl's night out," series star Allison Mack tells us, "I got to work with Julian McMahon [who plays Guido Bertinelli] in this episode for a short scene too. There are a lot of repercussions following the events that come to a head at the end of the episode between Chloe and Helena." Could one of those "repercussions" be the end of their friendship? RELATIONSHIP STATUS: COMPLICATED | Things continue to get between Chloe (Allison Mack) and Oliver (Justin Hartley) in the first few episodes of the season, "Knight" being no different. But, we're told that the two will be working through some of their issues, and may even be closing the episode out. "There's a beautiful scene between them at the end of the episode that I think fans of that relationship will enjoy," actor Justin Hartley previews, "I know that the fans are expecting a huge Chloe and Oliver story this season, and we are definately going to deliver." As to what that scene will be: "Its a nice talk about where they've been and where they are now that ends with a little skin," Hartley laughs, "You know things are going well when they show a little skin." So, it looks like there will be a lot to look forward too come May 16 when Watchtower returns with its action-packed second episode "Knight." From Bruce donning the suit, to Chloe and Helena's rocky friendship, don't forget to tune in to see how everything goes down. All new episodes are set to air from May 16 to June 20. Don't miss out.

After going back and editing some of "Knight," I'm pretty convinced the episode should be a longer, almost like a 60-minute episode of "Watchtower." The main idea was about introducing the Dark Knight, and telling Bruce's story of coming into that role, but there's a lot of focus on Selina as she has some 'secret ties' to a certain aspect of the episode that its sort of outshining the main plot, a little. Basically I think the episode is going to have six acts, and will be a "special" episode of Watchtower. Just a little longer than usual. xD I have a feeling there'll be about 70 pages all up. Just an estimation.

UPDATED 2/5/2011 - Chloe and Oliver take their relationship to the next level in "Knight." As for what that next step could be, it remains a mystery. - A character will not survive during the events of "Lockdown." - The new 'big bad' will be lurking around in the background for the first run of episodes, and if you're not paying attention, you may miss some of the clues as to who is pulling the strings.

JUST IN: LYNDA CARTER INKS NEW DEAL; "MOIRA SULLIVAN" RETURNS! That's right! Moira Sullivan - who was last seen in "Homecoming," unwillingly helping Emil bring about the end of the world - will be back this season for more of a 'motherly' role. Lynda Carter, who recently just inked a deal to return for 'multiple episodes' tells VSGuide that the producers are looking to bring the parents back to play more of a supporting, parenting role for Chloe. "Chloe hasn't always had her parents there for her, but I think that's going to change - at least, I believe that's what the goal is this season," Carter tells us, having just recently signed on for 'multiple episodes' - the actual amount of episodes is yet to be determined. "Now that its been established that Moira and Gabe are safe and sound, and getting their lives back together, I think you'll be seeing them more." Her 'on-screen' husband, Robert Wisden is yet to be confirmed as returning, but last year the producers did share interest in expanding on Gabe's relationship with his daughter. "I think its one of those bonds that is yet to be explored properly on this show, and although they had a great relationship on Smallville, Gabe was absent for most of her life after high school." "I think you'll see Gabe there too," Carter shares, expecting to see Robert Wisden back as Chloe's father. "The producers have told me that Moira's presence in Chloe's life will start to be hinted at and brought up, and that I'll be back, featured in episodes as a living, breathing character, around mid-season." Adding to the long list of returns, Moira is definitely NOT the only familiar face we'll be seeing this season. "You'll be seeing the return of the entire Justice League this season, including Dinah Lance [the black canary] when Alaina Huffman joins the main cast. Clark Kent will be back for an episode towards the end of the season, which will be an exciting episode. And then there's some characters from last season like Mia Dearden, Amanda Waller, and other fan favourites. There's a long list." Are you excited to hear that Chloe's mother will be back to support and watch over her little girl? Do you hope the producers can get Gabe back too? Sound off below!

"Lockdown" is going through a bit of a rewrite at the moment, before I continue to write the newer episodes of this first run, and there's this killer fight scene featuring Chloe. Sometimes writing the fight scenes is difficult, but this one has just been so fun. Can't wait for Watchtower to start airing soon! xD
Oh, and if anyone was wondering, episodes 1-11 is considered the "first half" of the season, but episodes 1-7 is the "first run." Then 8-11 will be the "second run." Episode 11 and 12 may be pushed together as a two parter sort of thing, depending on how things go. If not, 11 will be another 60 minute special like "Knight." It features the entire return of the Justice League and a lot of cliffhangers, so its a big one. I'm thinking it should be a two-parter, so that may make episodes 1-12 being the "first half" of the season. Just thought I'd clear that up!

So Chloe in the future with her child hasn't happened yet.
