Synthesis is an hour-long sci-fi drama series set in 2102 that focuses on Gordon Sophoes, a cop who is recruited to join a government task force that deals in crimes related to the illegal practice of time travel, with the division's agents given the ability to travel in time through surgery. While Gordon searches for answers about the disappearance of his aunt, also a former agent, hotheaded reporter Carrie Dunn begins to investigate rumours of the task force's existence while an even greater threat begins to make itself known...
