Jack, you HAVE to watch Iron Man 2. I need to rewatch it, though, so I can't really talk. But the Iron Man movies really are awesome.

It's okay. I'm probably going to see Amazing Spider-Man enough times to count for all of you Batman-people. >.>

I saw a stupid trailer for this God-awful movie when I went to see Amazing Spider-Man and let me tell you.
It is going to be horrible.
Like wtf did they even do? Retcon the last 4 movies? Like, I'm not even sure what's going on I just know it's terrible and stupid and WHERE THE HELL ARE CHRIS AND CLAIRE. And I'm pretty sure they're going to do Uroboros-Jill wrong. I'm 100% certain they only did that so they could use the suit and let her boobs cascade everywhere.
Sad part is I'm probably gonna end up seeing it anyway just so I can say I saw it and laughed at it, and then proceed to bitch about it on here after I've seen it. And you know what? I need to finish my other rants for the other movies. Expect that to eventually be coming soon. Probably closer to September.
WHICH BRINGS ANOTHER POINT. It comes out on my birthday. WHAT KIND OF SHIT IS THAT. Thank you Hollywood for ruining everything with your bad movies.
....Okay. Leaving this thread now.

It looks awesome, Jack! The bloody-looking bat symbol behind her is a nice touch, too.

It really, really sucks to say "no" right off the bat, and we hate doing it, but a show set in the Marvel Universe isn't going to work at this point in time. The VPN already has an active Marvel Universe with "The Outcasts", a universe that intends on expanding in the coming months. Having a second Marvel Universe established on the VPN runs the risk of becoming problematic in that unfair comparisons between the two could be made, or could confuse readers especially if the shows contain the same characters and whatnot.
The best advice I can offer is perhaps altering this idea to be an original work instead of based on Marvel Comics characters. Establish your own characters and your own world, completely separate from Marvel and the show could definitely work.
Again, I'm sorry that we have to say "no", but if you decide to make this into an original show, good luck!

Okay so, with the announcement of the Marvel relaunch, "Marvel NOW!", I think I can pretty much predict how Avengers vs. X-Men is going to end. We know Jean Grey is coming back (-squeals-) and we know that the Original 5 X-Men are going to be put into present-time in a new on-going series and they're going to HATE what they see. So this is an opportunity for some possible retconning of the events going on now, and in the past that happened between the end of the O5 and the AvX event. Which could be good and bad news.
But the thing that pretty much tells us how it's gonna end is the fact that there is a new on-going series starting in October/November called "Uncanny Avengers". Basically, the X-Men and the Avengers seem to be merging in a way and it's been said that Alex Summers/Havok will be the leader of this new Avengers team. So I'm thinking. They either compromise at the end, OR the end up teaming up against the Phoenix in the end. Either way, honestly, is fine I think.
But yeah, that's pretty much what I'm getting out of the Marvel relaunch. Some people hate the idea, but I'm honestly thinking it'll be pretty cool. Especially since the O5 of coming back. They're my total favorites. XD

I think I'll start my pages tonight. I'm in the writing mood, and feeling particularly inspired and I've got a finale to put the final scenes on. In fact, I'll start right now.

I will totally join you! Because I want to get back into the swing of one script per week (which is how I used to be with Outcasts until a wave of drama hit me and my crew from all sides), I might up my to 10 pages a day, but regardless, I will be joining you on this most definitely.

As a homosexual female, the issue of equality is one that hits really close to home. I, obviously, share the same views as you, Brady. We're all human beings, the only differences are that we're a different sexual orientation, race, gender, religion, etc. I don't think fights for acceptance will ever end, because the whole "history repeats itself" has proven time and time again, especially in this case, to be true. We, as a society, don't seem to learn from previous mistakes.
I think as long as hate is taught as a "value" from families, we're always going to have this issue. A lot of these intolerant people are raised by people who are just like them and taught them that it's okay to treat others badly because of their differences. I have people in my family that are like that, and who treat me badly because of an ASSUMPTION (I'm not yet out to my entire family, just a select few for this very reason). Until this cycle of intolerance stops, and it might never, we'll always have these issues. I like to hold on to the hope, however, that one day, we WILL be able to live amongst each other without all these ridiculous hostilities.

It really does suck to have to say "no" right off the bat like that, but what Brady said is true. We already have an established DC Universe here, and because of certain problems that arise with two different DC Universes going on (unfair comparisons between characters on the two, reader confusion, etc.), we don't allow anymore to be pitched/picked up. I suggest the same as Brady, pitch it to one of the many networks who don't have a DC Universe or if you can, alter it and make it into your own original idea and re-pitch it as something original and not DC based.
Regardless of what you choose, good luck to you!

Right now, I can't make a proper judgment on it. Your premise is really vague. Try to flesh it out a little more. Give us more information on your world and give us a detailed look into the storyline. With what you've given us, it's hard to really give you any sort of feedback.

I'm glad he's okay and that he wasn't too badly hurt. Sending him my best, and I hope he has a fast, smooth recovery.
