“Winchester” is a high school drama/mystery set in the fictional small coastal town of Winchester Bay, California. It revolves around new sophomore arrival Jake Farrell (Christian), having recently moved to town with his mom, Annie (Weil), as he attempts to navigate the halls of Winchester Bay High School, a school in mourning over the death of junior Shane Wise. Jake's attempt to fit in leads him to the school's struggling newspaper, the Winchester Tribune, where he meets fiery editor-in-chief Maya Raymond (Morgan), talented photographer Tracy Vargas (Mendes), and the lonely but brilliant Charlie Matthews (Minette). Also at the school are Jake's cousin Lucy (Phipps), daughter of Sheriff Hill, the grief-stricken Eve (Hyland), Shane's younger sister, and football star Pete Jensen (Drameh). Jake has a pretty busy year ahead of him, and if he’s just lucky enough, he may even make it out alive.
