c.1930 Dorothy Gale has lived in the utopian land of Oz for many years but when the time comes for her to settle down and start a family she decides to leave Oz. Forever.

2011. Lauren Hamilton (Dorothys 25 year old granddaughter) is living in New York working as an understudy on broadway and has grown up with her grandma's tales of a perfect imaginary land called Oz. One night, Lauren is pulled through a portal to Oz. However, this is not the world her grandma told her about. The people of Oz have fallen under the rule of the sorceress Malice. Lauren discovers she was brought here by a dying Glinda as the last hope for Oz.

As you can you can see it is a very basic idea and im looking for someone to help develop it and bring some more ideas to it. But, since im extremely busy with college i wont be able to be 100 % dedicated to it but ill try my hardest

Just out of curiosity, have you seen the mini series Tin Man? This idea just really reminds me of it so if you're looking for inspiration I'd suggest watching that

I've only seen the first episode of tin man and haven't watched the rest because I thought it was boring (which is weird because I'm a big zooey deschanel fan). And I really didn't notice similarities with it until you mentioned it lol. Although a few of the ideas I have are completely different from tin man. I think :/
