EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH TRINITY CREATOR, CHRIS DAVIS
hello, Chris. How are you?
Chris Davis -: Hi Megan, I'm doing just fine. And yourself?
I'm doing great thank you. So, tell me about your hopefully picked up spinoff series Trinity?
Chris Davis -: Well, it's basically a spin-off the Smallville, telling us the unexplored story of Lana Lang, after getting super powers. She's gone to her own town where she meets up with new people along with some old friends and...it just picks off from there.
Wow, that really sounds interesting. What stories do you have in store for us if this series gets picked up which we have no doubt it will.
Chris Davis -: *laughs* Well, you all should expect lots and lots of action in each story. There's going to be an episode where Lana and her team have to find a bomb that's set to go off at any given time, while dealing with the angered residents of the town, not to mention the team of assassins out to get them. There's just a great amount of things going on in one episode and you'll be entertained throughout which I think is important.
That sounds great, I'm really excited as you are one to have great ideas, producing Gifted. We all know that Trinity is in good hands. Why don't you tell us the personal roads Lana Lang goes through? Last time we checked, Lana was heart broken because she couldn't go near Clark. How do you intend to wrap that story up and will Clark make appearances?
Chris Davis -: Uh...no. I can tell you that we won't see Clark anytime soon if ever. When we first come into the season, we can tell that Lana's still very much in love with Clark but she's learned to deal with it, and she's got a lot of new people around her that she can connect with. So, It's safe to say that she has moved on since she was last scene on Smallville. Thanks to a little character I like to call, Pete Ross.
ooh, a past Smallville character and now a potential love interest?
Chris Davis -: You can say that. We won't see Pete on Trinity until episode five, I think, but we can tell they have both grown as characters right off the bat and that's what brings them together more throughout the season. Maybe not as a love connection at first, but a building one, maybe.
My goodness, it really looks like this series will be something to look out for. What are your main objectives and if you were given a season two, what ideas do you have to widen the story of Lana Lang?
Chris Davis -: Hmm...that's a very good question. Uh...I think if I were to get a second season, I'd lead Lana down a dark path. Darker than she's ever been. I think it's important to see the characters change of a period of time and her being "happy and loving" in season one, I think it'd be interesting to do the exact opposite in season two.
Well, that is exciting. I can say that I cannot wait to watch this.
Chris Davis -: Well, I'll try my best to live up to your expectations!
*laughs* Will other Smallville stars be appearing such Chloe Sullivan or any other minor character?
Chris Davis -: Well, Oliver Queen will appear for episode two. He will kind of give Lana closure for the whole Clark situation. So you can look forward to that. But as for right now, other than Pete, we won't be seeing anymore Smallville characters on Trinity. But you know how that could change.
Oh, Oliver Queen. Now that is exciting. There was rumours that instead of a Lana Lang spin off that there was going to be a Justice League spin off? What are your thoughts on that ?
Chris Davis -: Well, I honestly feel that if VPN were to go with the Justice League instead of Lana, I wouldn't be upset, because I know it will be just as good as Lana would have been. Right now, I'm just hoping for the best and I'll just have to wait and see.
That is awesome, One more question Chris. What are your thoughts rival future hit Charmed and the new show runner Megan Lizford? Do you think there's room for both series?
Chris Davis -: Oh there's no question that there's room for Charmed! There's always room for Charmed. *laughs* I'm in love with what Megan's doing for the continuation. I honestly can't wait until we get an answer on whether or not it's picked up. I know she's going to do an amazing job with it!
*laughs* well, thank you chris for coming down here to take this interview. I'm sure we'll be here again to discuss Gifted.
Chris Davis -: smiles* No problem. Thanks for having me.

A STATEMENT FROM MEGAN LIZFORD ON CHARMED CONTINUATION
Megan Lizford: Well, honestly. I was a big fan of Charmed and I was always thinking in my mind 'what can I do better on that show?' and although Brad Kern did a great job delivering eight beautiful season, I thought that the way things ended wasn't fulfilling for the fans and me since I was a fan. I decided to bring back Charmed in my own vision and show the world what I thought the way to end Charmed, its in glorious form, in its legendary form. Sisters who happen to be witches. That was the main essence that ran through the series. It is what made this show so unique from other Supernatural shows, it had such life. I think Season Nine will be amazing. It has a lot of the old elements in it and things that was sorely missed during the later seasons. I'm bringing the old ways of Charmed. The supernatural essence, the darkness that it entailed. I've been asked about any special details for this upcoming season. Well, before we get into that, i just hope it gets picked up so fans everywhere! Plead VPN to say yes! SAY YES! *laughs* Well, no. It will only be picked up once they see a long term future for the show which i intend that will be happen. Things to look out for this season is a lot of hidden secrets, dark secrets and alot of supernatural discoveries. We will also be getting a lot gory with the underworld and fully exposing the potential of it. Also, returns by notable characters such as Jenny Gordon, the once young fresh faced teen living next door to the Halliwells and totally oblivious to their magical ways but now as a university student and a little older and wiser, what will happen? Also, the return of also not so new Tyler Michaels who has gotten into trouble with the law and finds himself back in the safety of the Halliwells. What does these return mean for this season. I can't really explain everything but I know that they have a key part in the season finale and the next season.
Also, the much talked about return of Darryl and Shelia and yes I said Shelia since she'll also have a bigger role this season and not just background. They will begin to get more involved in the world of magic but Shelia is feeling a little pushed into the idea. Well, you never know, she may actually contact the witch within herself, no? Haha, I love making people ask those obvious questions "OMG, IS SHE A WITCH?" Well, I doubt that but the speculations are really good to hear.
Onto the sisters who are the main reason for me being here. Well, they aren't going to have a fun ride this season since Paige will feel the pains of what could've been, Phoebe will have her abilities returned to her while Piper struggles normal life when the Supernatural keeps knocking her down, yes its the Halliwells. Paige will be the one who suffers most in more ways than, Phoebe finds it hard to have a career and a marriage side by side but when magic pushes her back to square one, does she love being a witch still? and Piper who believes her dreams of becoming a chef is just a corner away but does she have to give up P3?
The men have it hard, picking up the pieces of the destruction. Leo, mortal is feeling the strain of being useless so he decides to reform Magic School which he successfully does but when Wyatt and Chris who have both come into their powers, Can he really protect them? With Henry, its all really confusing but he's trying hard to understand. He believes Paige's work is beneficial for her, helping people but he's anxieties for his children carrying on the burden of being Charmed. With Coop finding it hard with his new legal identity, with his job being so demanding, does he have time to be a husband and a father?
With also speculations of a Billie Jenkins, which honestly aren't on the cards for now but never say never. Thank You.
