The Stepfather
"After losing their father in a car accident, they move to a new city where they meet a man who soon becomes their stepfather but isn't what he appears to be."
Katie - Katie has a rough time trying to start her life over after the death of her father, struggling to fit in and moving to a new state wasn't easy for her. Her brother Ben, was holding it together more than her which made her angry since she's the oldest she's supposed to take care of the family. Her father was her best friend, he had his fair of secrets but she always stuck by him no matter what.
Ben - Ben was a star athlete at his old high school, after losing his father he became a troublemaker and started fights, getting him kicked out of school. He is very strong on the outside but weak on the inside. He doesn't much emotion, not to anyone including his big sister Katie.
Nancy- After being married 15 years to her husband he was fatally killed in a car accident which ruined her family, After her son's antics which made her the talk of the town she moved them to a new state to get a fresh start. After her husband's death and the move she has been a wreck and unhappy not being able to be the mother she needed to be for her two kids however with her new job she meets Mark and becomes happier
Mark - New to the city, as well just like his new wife Nancy and his new step kids. Mark claims he lost his wife and newborn in a house fire. He tries to become close to his new step children but they're stubbornness won't allow it as they feel he's trying to replace their father. Katie and Ben soon find out that their new stepfather has some skeletons in his closet that they'll uncover.
