Exclusive: Postponing Destiny for Perry White? The journey of Perry White on Watchtower has gone from a desperate man struggling to build his way back up to the top, to a man plagued by Fate and driven crazy by the power of Nabu. Now, he's even further from his foreseen future as the Daily Planet's Editor in Chief, ordering around the iconic Lois Lane, and Superman-in-disguise, Clark Kent. Great Caesar's Ghost! So what's in store for the biggest supporter of our heroes in these last two episodes of the season, and when can we see his predicted future come to pass? "Going into this season, we promised you were going to see these characters be knocked down, and fall to their lowest points," series creator Jack Malone told VSGuide, "And Perry has probably taken the biggest hit." In the most recent episode, "Birth", Perry was used as an instrument for Harley Quinn's plan to put the entire hospital under lockdown, which led to a painful bullet wound that left the Editor in Chief of the Gotham Gazette crippled. "This projects Perry into a really exciting direction that paves way for some really great stories," Malone continued, hinting at the character's future on the show, "We know the end of this character's journey, so to have all this empty space to fill and play around with has been a lot of fun." But the question remains: When will we see Perry take on his greatest and most iconic role? "There's always this huge discussion at the beginning of every season where we look at how much story Perry has left in him, and if there's a strong enough purpose for him on the show," actor Michael McKean explained, "This season, there was the Fate helmet, and how that affected his life. There was that war about whether or not vigilantes were heroes or not, which went hand in hand with Perry's support of Watchtower, and Chloe. And there was, obviously, this shifting relationship between Chloe and Perry that was important touch on. Now, we're going to see him in his greatest struggle to pick himself back up." McKean, who had fans guessing at the end of last season if he would be back or not, has already revealed that he is involved in the third season of the series. "We discussed very closely with Michael [McKean] about what happens to this character in the last two episodes of this current season, and where that takes him in the following year," executive producer Chris Davis shared, "We managed to sit down and figure out everything we wanted to do with [Perry] and whether we see it all play out next season, or over the course of the rest of the series, that decision is in Michael's hands." And where do we find Perry in the finale? "Everything that has happened with the character so far culminates into this huge moment for Perry in the finale," Malone teased, "I don't want to give it away, but it all ties together and I think it will surprise the fans of his character." What the producers can promise is that: "We have a lot of nail biting cliffhangers for most of our characters in the finale. Perry isn't one of them." What do you think is in store for Perry in the finale? Do you think Perry should leave for Metropolis sooner rather than later? Where would you like to see the character go? Sound off below!

^I'm really excited about what's planned for Perry in these last two episodes. He definitely has a lot to overcome and there's a lot of payoff for his struggles in the finale that I'm really, really excited for. XD

I really hope Perry doesn't start his journey yet. I really want him to stay for season 3. But what are you're plans for him? Also, Can I ask you're opinion on why Babara Gordon is Nightwing instead Batgirl in The Smallville Season 11 comic book?

Also, Can I ask you're opinion on why Babara Gordon is Nightwing instead Batgirl in The Smallville Season 11 comic book? Perry will definitely be a part of the next season. I have a pretty big storyline planned for him for the third season that I think will be the biggest story for him so far in the series. As for the Smallville Season 11 comics: I'm really loving them so far, and have had no problems with the Barbara/Nightwing aspect of this second episode. Smallville always reinvented stuff, and differed from the source material, so I'm not exactly surprised or upset at the change. I've never been a huge "Batman has a sidekick", so I would have preferred he showed up on his own, but I love Barbara Gordon, and I love Nightwing, so I can't complain at all. xD ...and in the next chapter coming out in the following Friday, Chloe and Oliver are back. Their storyline has been pretty damn awesome so far, and I think my favourite part of the comic has been when Chloe discusses why she hasn't fully transitioned from Metropolis to Star City yet, and what's keeping her back. You can just picture every little panel of the book playing out on screen, and I love it!

Preview of "Escape" An airdate is yet to be announced. The Network has released an exclusive preview of the penultimate episode of the season, featuring Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, with Joseph Gordon-Levitt as the Joker, and Nicki Minaj as Harleen Quinzell. The scene involves an intense conversation between the Bat and his Butler. "Its been a struggle for Bruce to accept, and offer help in his role as this vigilante figure," series creator, Jack Malone, told VSGuide, "And this episode really delves into that as we approach that season finale." Alfred. -dead- Like, duuuuuuude, Alfred is such a BAMF. Ugh, whoa. I just thought of something! Have Helena and Alfred met?! OMG. YES. PLEASE. And if they have... DO IT AGAIN. Please. Dude.... whoa. Hahaha. I love writing for Alfred. I don't think he's shared any scenes with the main cast except for Bruce, and Selina. He's briefly talked to Chloe and Oliver in the pilot, I think, but other than that, he's pretty much bound to the Wayne Mansion. I would love for him to meet the other characters. XD
Update for "Escape", I opened the script after a week or two without having even looked at it, and am close to finishing 40 pages with Act Three. I'm really hoping I can finish by the weekend, considering I don't make plans with friends after the exams or am exhausted, haha. But yeah, I'm really liking how the episode is shaping so far.

As soon as the season finishes, I'll have some nice casting news, and updates on who the main characters for the next season are - who is joining, who is staying, etc. And I'm getting these episodes done as fast and as best I can - I've had exams these past two weeks, and they're not over yet. Can't get them done any faster than I'm already trying. Haha. xD
