PLOT
The Halliwell witch line was the strongest ever known to the magical world. For years, they protected the innocent from peril and brought light to a demonic world. The Charmed ones began a new legacy of witches and two more generations of Halliwells were born, until a powerful legion of demons called "The Dahli," wiped them all from existence, or so they thought. One Halliwell; Lena, daughter of Chris Halliwell; survived the attack and has been in hiding. With the Halliwell line destroyed, innocents of the world found themselves in a lot more danger, and with the Elders being the only ones capable of protecting them, there was soon a shortage of witches. Five years later, the Elders discover her location and inform her that they've found a way to restore balance in the world. So, they took the blood of a Lena Halliwell and combined it with the essence of magic itself, in order for it to take human form. That day, two babies were created by magic, they will soon be known as the Gifted Ones.

This series follows twins, Chris and Brandy, who have no idea of their magical heritage. Twenty years has passed since Chris & Brandy Cyper were born and on the eve of their 21st birthday, they discover the secret their mother has kept hidden from them since birth. The fact that they have a higher purpose, a calling... a destiny. Soon after discovering their powers, demons from the Underworld sense their arrival and come in numbers, but when Lena comes up missing, how will the newly made witches survive on their own?

Chris Cyper

Chris is a quite shy and reserved character. He keeps to his inner circle of friends and doesn't usually stray too far outside of it. Since as long as he has known her, Chris has been head over heels for Kelly Peterson, his best friends girlfriend and even though he knows they will never be more than friends, he can't stop feeling a connection to her. After discovering his powers, he notices a change in himself. He realizes that he has a destiny and people that are counting on him, which causes him to open up more and fill the "leader" role he was meant to fill.
Brandy Cyper
(Portrayed by Laura Vandervoort)
Brandy is a vibrant, spunky, all around average American girl. She has confidence coming from every end of her, yet she is not over-confident or obnoxious. She doesn't care what others think of her, making her a very independent young woman. After discovering her powers, her life takes an turn that leads her down a path of confusion. She doesn't understand why the world chose her to hold such a destiny, but she believes in what she was called to do and won't let her personal fears get in the way of the greater good.
Kelly Peterson
(Portrayed by Lauren Cohan)
Kelly is a beautiful and creative artist who happens to be Nicholas' girlfriend. Since birth, she has been known as the girl who has everything, mostly based on the fact that her father is the founder of the University she attends, which makes her quite rebellious to prove otherwise. She's more of a reserved person, like Chris, but for different reasons. She's mysterious, no one can put their finger on why but there's definitely something about her that needs puzzling out.
Nicholas Parker
(Portrayed by Lenny Platt)
Nicholas or "Nick" has been Chris' best friends since the second grade. How Chris has stuck by him all these years is a mystery; the two couldn't be more different from one another. Nick is an outgoing, funny, spur of the moment kind of guy and is known for taking risks, no matter who they involve.
Melanie Rinehart
(Portrayed by Roselyn Sanchez)
Melanie is a fallen white lighter who has managed to keep her powers for years. Years ago, she was Lena's white lighter and now she will act as one for Chris and Brandy. After Lena disappears, Melanie takes the two under her wings to protect and prepare them for the upcoming battle they must face.
David Mason
(Portrayed by Sam Witwer)
David is the main antagonist of season one. David has a very sinister personality. He is a newly appointed elder and under his leadership, the council of elders has made a drastic change, co-existing with demons. Davis used to be a good man, but we soon find out that he has gone rogue when he imprisons Lena Cyper against her will.
Lena Cyper
(Portrayed by Melinda Clarke)
Lena is the last known Halliwell in the world. She used to be a carefree soul, but after loosing her family, she became a much more serious person. Soon before Chris and Brandy discover their powers, Lena is taken against her will by someone from her past, David, an elder who has turned his back against the side of light. Will she ever get back to the kids that need her or is will she die, as she was supposed to 25 years ago?

Meanwhile, Lena awakens to find herself within a empty, black chamber, in which she was imprisoned by her former whitelighter, David (Sam Witwer).

Will they come to her rescue in time? Will they be ready to face this threat? Meanwhile, Lena (Melinda Clarke) wants to know why David (Sam Witwer) has gone rogue, but discovered more than she bargained for.

Creators Note:
Gifted is a series I created in 2007 and has been trying to get fully developed since 2008. I've spent so much time developing the show and there have been many versions that were picked up but, I've decided to go back to my original idea. So yes, Gifted is back in all its entirety. The cast has changed, but many of the episodes and storylines remain the same.
