DEPARTURES JAKE ABEL Earlier this week Jake Abel announced his plans to exit the college drama with news of his departure, Producers have plans to shake up the cast and say several cast members will not be returning. DIANNA AGRON Rumored early this season to be returning to the second season as a series regular, Agron released that she also was leaving the drama, all though producers promise that Cate will return in at least one episode during the second season to give closure to Charlie and fans. This does not however necessarily mean that Charlie himself will be surviving his predicament. UPDATED - 01-03-2013

CONFIRMED CAST
BLAKE LIVELY With news of Abel's departure, it was also released that Blake Lively had been promoted to series lead. ASHLEY TISDALE Everyone's favorite President will be returning despite her rocky and unsure status earlier this season and is said by producers that Eve will play a big part during the second season. MICHAEL TREVINO Winchester resident bad boy was met with much hate during the shows first season, and later won over a few fans with his sincere attempt at redemption. Pete will be back and we will finally be meeting his family, hopefully revealing how he fell so far off the tracks. TYLER BLACKBURN Jake Everett, the wanna be reported who tugged at a few threads earlier this season later became an ally to Tracy and helped save her life, and went on to form a relationship with Eve. But can Everwise really last with all the drama that takes place at Winchester? JANA KRAMER The girl with the heart of stone, Maya was another character hated by many fans and returned in the finale hoping for a second chance, the question is. What will she do with it? It's also rumored that Maya will team up with someone unlikely this season. |

ALISON BRIE Fan favorite Lucy Hamilton's fate was left unknown as she was gunned down by an unknown shooter, after all the brunette has been through is this really the end of Lucy Vivien Hamilton? JOSH ZUCKERMAN Another fan favorite, Charlie Sullivan easily won fans over with his wit and big heart, well his fate was left unknown as the building he had come to call home, was blown up at the end of season. MATT LANTER The golden boy of Winchester and friend to many was faced with several difficult choices, including choosing between Lucy Hamilton and Maya Langston in the end he was happy with his choices but was gunned down in the seasons final moments. is there any hope for the shows most beloved couple? |

WHO WILL JOIN THEM!
MYSTERY SOLVED!
Andrew Garfield of Spider-Man and The Social Network fame, joins the main cast of Winchester as New student at North Winchester University and will play the character of Will Bishop.
Will is said to be a lot darker than former lead, Blake. He's spent most of his life on his own and had a tuff upbringing but can't help but be drawn towards Tracy and her group of friends. Having said that don't expect to find him kicked back on the couch of the beach house playing video games with Charlie (should he survive!)
As we know from her past, Tracy has a habit of being attracted to damaged guys who she believes deep down she can save. She did it with Pete and than Blake, is Will going to be Tracy's next "project"?
When asked to comment on the character Series Co-Creator Matt James had this to say about Will Bishop and what to expect. "Will is someone who has been hurt and let down by every single person in his life, he's given hope, he's given up believing in good, and so when he comes across Tracy who despite her flaws is "good" and pure and trustworthy, he naturally is drawn to her, he comes across her at the exact point in his life when he needs something. Anything. To believe in. In this case that Tracy. To answer the question, he can't help but be attracted to her, but will his feelings be one sided?" |

BACK FOR MORE!!! SEASON TWO CASTING NEWS  News has just broken that actor Josh Zuckerman, will reprise his role of Charlie Sullivan in the VPN college drama, Winchester. Which is set to return early August. When asked why they decided to reveal the news James had this to say "Charlie is large part of the show moving forward, he's connected to almost every character, it's nearly impossible to bring up a story that doesn't have to do with Charlie." Zuckerman will be sharing most of his scenes with co-star's Ashley Tisdale and Tyler Blackburn in the premier and will be filming in Miami. So it's now down to either Matt Lanter or Alison Brie who will be departing at the start of the season. |
