Fan Fiction on VPN was made so people don't always have to pitch a series in order to get it noticed. Fan Fiction is an alternative to a virtual series, if you're an aspiring vs' writer, but need more time to practice, this will be perfect for you. Also, if you want to write on YOUR time, without the stress of due dates and such, Fan Fiction is something to consider for the time being.
Fan Fiction on VPN allows you to post any script/prose, ect, you would like to be read and reviewed by VPN showrunners, producers, and members. Whether it be a continuation or spinoff of a television and/or virtual series, an original piece, a one off movie/episode...ANYTHING!
Happy writing!

Hi , I have a question:what are the rules for two or more people using the same name or a name similar for their shows? The reason I ask this,is because I have a name for a show I am right now working on and I notice that someone else on this site is pitching an idea for a show using the exact name I was going to use! Is there rules against two different shows having the same name...or it doesn't really matter?

It depends, are you planning on pitching a virtual series, or posting "fan fiction" on this board. Either way, it would probably be best to try to choose another name, to avoid confusion, but there are no real rules against it, especially if the shows in question are pitches. If both shows are picked up, however, the 2nd of the two to be picked up would have to change the title.
I'd say, talk it over with the creator of that particular pitch, or change try to think of a new title for your show. Just common courtesy.
