This series looks really compelling.
It sort of reminds me of resident evil.
Well, okay, not really - more like the second movie. More specifically the scene when the city is being quarantined and the people are trying to escape and the government is holding them off. For some reason i get that visual.
Awesome job, Chris. I'd be very interested to see how this goes.

Yes. All of their powers are sort of related to each other, like enhancements.
And they're also extensions of themselves.
For instance: Avery, drug user, kind of a social outcast, very socially awkward.
It makes sense for her power to be invisibility because that's the way she likes it. Her second ability, glamoring (which is like appearance shape shifting), is an extension of invisibility because she can be anything she needs to be.

Aaaaaaaaaaaand I've always been attracted to that genre. And I always wanted to try and incorporate more personal struggle and heart into it. So, hopefully I can do that.
