1999. A man named Fred Krueger is arrested for the murders of twenty neighborhood children. Freddy Krueger's high profile trial begins and is cut short when it's revealed the search warrant to obtain evidence was not signed correctly. Trial evidence is deemed inadmissible and Krueger is released. Later that night, outraged and grieving neighborhood parents track Freddy down and burn him alive
2012. Nancy Tompson has been plagued by nightmares. When one of her friends are killed in their sleep, Nancy becomes convinced she is not safe awake or asleep. And what does this have to do with a man who died 13 years ago? [glow=red,3,300] Currently, I am re- doing the pilot and making changes such as extra scenes and a new ending as the original pilots ending was too rushed. I am also recasting Kristin and possibly Tina and Nancy too.[/glow]

I hope this is something you actually stick with because I am huge fan of the A Nightmare on Elm Street films. Will this be a remake webisode series of the first film - because that is what it sounds like? Or are you trying to do a continuation of the series in webisode format? As for the pitch itself I would try to develop it a little more to get your audience's attention. The synopsis is great and explains what A Nightmare on Elm Street is, but I would try to add a little more to help set the stage for your story, rather than just focus on backstory. And for your characters, do you have descriptions of them that you could add to the pitch? I would love to read about who these characters are because that is something that will get me invested into the series. Great concept, I would just add some more to the pitch and this could be awesome!

I see. I think it is smart to set the first sequence up like the first movie in order to gain more viewers who may not be familiar with the film or franchise. I still would suggest adding descriptions to your characters and to your episodes as well. The purpose of a pitch is to explain your series and really draw in your audience. I will applaud your logo for A Nightmare on Elm Street! I looks awesome, great job creating it.

Some parts are similar to the original but I think (especially in episode 2) theres a few major differences
