THE SEARCH IS ON - Two weeks after the disappearance of Debbie Knox (Loughlin), Janice (Robertson), Clark (Lerman), and Sara (Grimes) have still not come to terms with the loss, as they still search for evidence, turning to the Uucsio's (Hamm, Kidman, and Judd) for help. However, when a superhuman holds Lucy (Mulligan), Fred (O’Brien), and Heather (guest star Shelley Hennig) hostage, the Knox triplets must quickly change their focus to saving their friends. Also, as Detective Ashlock (Freeman) receives a brand new partner (guest star Aaron Tveit), she tries her best to cope with being the cause of death to her friend, Dr. Rivers. Meanwhile, Alexander (guest star Michael Fassbender) shows Debbie (Loughlin) the inside of Chosen, where she meets someone from the past.

EXCLUSIVE: CREATOR TALKS SEASON TWO!

“The Super Teens,” an action/adventure drama, concluded its first season at the beginning of July 2013. The freshman season focused on the Knox triplets as they gain superhuman powers from a catastrophic event that infected half of their city along with them. After realizing that a mysterious killer is terrorizing their city, the siblings realize that they must put a stop to criminal, and stop the other corrupt superhumans along the way. Series creator, Brady Brown, was able to sit down and explain the events of the season finale, and just what will happen in the action drama’s sophmore season!

“Two weeks have passed since the first season finale,” Brown says. “The triplets still have not come to terms with the fact that their mother is missing, and are continuing to attempt to discover what has happened to her, which is where their new found ally, Detective Ashlock, comes into play.” He went on to say, “Detective Ashlock really wants to prove that she can be a worthy friend, as well as Lucy, Fred, and Heather, who have taken the information with more hesitation than Ashlock does.”

The final scene of the season showed Debbie tied up in a dark room, back in the hands of Alexander and Chosen. When asked how this will effect her storyline this season, Brown said, “With Debbie in the Chosen headquarters, it really gives us a chance to witness what exactly goes on behind closed doors, just how Chosen operates, and what happens to the people inside it. We’ll see Debbie and just how she handles being away from her family, and being captured for a second time.”

“The Uucsio’s really step up to the plate this season,” Brown says about the scientist allies. “All of them, especially Jane, begin to treat the Knox’s as their own since their mother is gone. They want to help even more than usual, which leads to some problems among the Uucsio building.”

Brown continued to go on, saying “Chosen is a much more threatening villain than Cloranda is, in my opinion. For one, there’s more than just one person, it's a whole organization, and second, they’re manipulating, more so Alexander. In an early episode of the season, he weaves himself inside of one of the Knox’s heads and forces them to make an ethical decision. It’s really interesting to plan,” he chuckles.

As of now, development for the second season is well underway, with two episodes already completed, and the third in current production. No news as to when a possible premiere date might be announced, but producers can confirm that the second season will be increased to a full twenty two episodes. “It’s more episodes to write, but it’s a chance to tell more story and show more development, and I'm really excited for it!” he exclaims.
