"Shela shares most of her scenes with Debbie," Union says about her character. "She's got a secret that is revealed in the third episode, and it's definitely something Debbie can relate to." CASTING NEWS: TIM DALY JOINS "THE SUPER TEENS"! Tim Daly ('Wings,' 'The Sopranos') has been revealed to be joining the main cast of "The Super Teens"! Daly will be portraying Ryan Cass, the newest reporter to The Upsville Unit. "Ryan's a very determined character,"[/i] series creator Brady Brown tells VSGuide. "He discovers that the truth may have been changed, and has made it his mission to uncover what it is. So, sort of like Detective Ashlock, only not really at all," he laughs.
"Ryan is first introduced in episode two and shares most of his scenes with Detective Ashlock," Daly says. "And, just between you and me, he's got a past with a character that's already been introduced," he teases. He was also asked about how many episodes he has been contracted for, and he replies, "Just like what Gabrielle [Union] said, I'm not sure, but definitely more than half."
It's been said that Daly has been the last addition to the main cast! But there's going to be a lot more casting news to be released in the future. So stay tuned, and make sure to catch up on "The Super Teens," before it returns soon!

EXCLUSIVE: MEET CHOSEN! One of the many aspects this season is what happens in the walls of Chosen. The organization becomes the main threat of the season, after kidnapping Debbie Knox and attempting to kill the Knox triplets. Three actors have been added to The Super Teen cast, all of who will be playing characters associated with Chosen! Ioan Grufford is set to portray Joshua, who he describes as being Alexander's right hand man. "Joshua is basically the closest to Alexander, and, just like everyone else in Chosen, does everything he says," Grufford says. "He's introduced in the pilot, but plays a pivotal role in the second episode as he has to carry out one of Alexander's mission." Joshua is said to form a friendship with a fellow Chosen member, and throughout the season they will be working together to try and correct the errors they make, in an attempt to save themselves from Alexander. Joshua's new best friend, Agatha, will portrayed by Sonya Walger. "Agatha is the head technical analyst for Chosen," Walger states on her character. "Besides in the pilot, she is usually shown behind her computer, hacking into government organizations and deleting various documents all at the command of Alexander." Agatha is rumored to have inner demons she is battling with, all tying back to Alexander, and might have a relation to one of the characters! The final main member of Chosen, Ezra, is set to be portrayed by Ian Bohen. "Ezra basically trains all of the new agents, one of whom is Debbie," Bohen explains. "He's highly trained, as he should be, and usually leads raids with the agents he's trained right behind him." Ezra is said to fade to the background, compared to Agatha and Joshua, but fans are to not forget him! Because he may come popping up when you least expect it! There you have it, the main members of Chosen! Excited for the organization to be explored through this new characters? Even if you're not, leave your comments below, and don't miss The Super Teen's second season, premiering soon!

CASTING NEWS: SHARMAN AND BENSON HEAD TO UPSVILLE! VSGuide has just confirmed that Daniel Sharman ('Teen Wolf') and Ashley Benson ('Pretty Little Liars') have been booked to play reoccurring characters for the second season of "The Super Teens"! Sharman and Benson's character are said to be related, siblings in fact, bringing in a second brother and sister factor onto the show! Though, their characters, as confirmed by producers, are said to be defending the opposite side, and may or may not have been affected by Bright Day. Sharman is set to play Holt, a new student that moves to Upsville in the fourth episode of the season, entitled "Super Heat". Holt comes to Upsville high with an arrogant, cocky nature, instantly appealing to several female students, and one of those students happens to be Sara Knox herself. "With Holt coming onto the show, and Sara being attracted to him, we get to delve into the fact of having one good guy and one bad guy interacting romantically with one another," series creator Brady Brown says. "And although he has the ability to manipulate and produce fire, Sara still finds herself drawn to him, which definitely leads to some conflict among her siblings."Benson has been booked to play Ellie, another student that finds herself enrolling in Upsville High starting in the eighth episode, entitled "Super Water". Ellie is said to be a sassy, audacious girl that instantly grants her three new enemies: the Knox triplets. "Ellie, I guess, is considered the 'bad girl," Brown says. "She is a fierce fighter, and her ability to control water, while contrasts her brother's ability, is used towards the middle of the season to create something horrific."There it is! Two new characters for the second season! Stay tuned, because there are definitely more! But for now, tell us your thoughts on these two new additions and how you think they will effect the show!

EXCLUSIVE: PROPOSED PREMIERE DATE; CHARACTER ARCS; SEASON TWO TRAILER! VSGuide was able to catch the cast and crew of "The Super Teens" exiting filming of an early episode of the second season. They had some great light to shed on production! Series creator Brady Brown was quoted saying, "We're halfway done filming the fifth episode of the season, and we're currently aiming for a summer release." He went on to say that the first half of the season would air before the show would take a hiatus. Britt Robertson, who plays Janice Knox, was asked about the development of her character this season. She replied, "Janice is dealing with a struggle. She doesn't know whether to tell her siblings about the secret she discovered about Frank. With this comes stress. Not just for her, but for Clark and Sara as well. And add the abduction of their mother to the problems they've already been facing, and you find it surprising that these kids can even get out of the bed in the morning."Shenae Grimes and Logan Lerman were unable to comment on their characters, but VSGuide was able to ask Jon Hamm, who plays Dr. Geoffrey Uucsio about what's to come. "There's something very shocking that happens to the Uucsio's around the halfway point of the season." He laughs, "That's all I'm going to say." He also said that his character will be the focal point of episode six, entitled 'Super Fear'. Now, finally, series creator was also able to release an official season two trailer. Look out for anymore spoilers, especially one that will be released very soon. Don't forget to catch up on the action/adventure drama before the show hopefully returns in the summer, and let us know your thoughts down below!

EXCLUSIVE: SEVERAL VILLAINS CAST! With season two still in production, producers have decided to release the casting of five new villains for the first half of the second season! All five of them have been booked for a single episode where they will play the primary antagonist. Teresa Palmer (’I Am Number Four,’ ‘Warm Bodies’) will portray a young girl named Holly, who uses her metal manipulation ability to wreak havoc against the Knox triplets. She will appear in the premiere episode, and is rumored to be linked to a character from the past. Appearing in the third episode, Neal McDonough (’Band of Brothers’, ‘Desperate Housewives’) will portray a man simply by the name of George. His character will have the ability to transfer powers from himself to other people, and vice versa. And with it being confirmed that Lucy and Fred gain abilities in the same episode George appears, it seems that the reasoning for this sudden change may have been revealed! Tatiana Maslany (’Orphan Black,’ ‘Heartland’) will appear in the fifth episode, playing an ex-Chosen assassin named Michelle. Her backstory will be revealed in the episode she’ll be appearing in, but the reasoning for her arrival, producers reveal, is that Alexander calls on her to eliminate the Knox triplets. Maslany says that Michelle is a definite force to be reckoned with, and may just be the strongest foe that the triplets have faced. As scientist Elliot Coley, Silas Weir Mitchell (’Prison Break,’ ‘Grimm’) comes to Upsville in the sixth episode with a proposition for Dr. Uucsio. Though, when he declines, Elliot spirals into a fear-driven lunatic, and uses a hallucinogen to get revenge on the doctor who rejected him. By doing that, he kidnaps the Knox triplets and Jane, leaving Dr. Uucsio and Mrs. Uucsio on their own. Finally, Michael C. Hall (’Dexter,’ ‘Six Feet Under’) will appear in the ninth episode and is connected to Mrs. Uucsio’s past. Coming back with a vengeance, he abducts Dr. Uucsio and Jane Doe and begins to torture them, taunting Mrs. Uucsio with his every move. He’s a ruthless, strong foe who poses a great threat to the ex-Chosen agent. Well there you have it! Villains galore! Excited to see how these people stand up to the Knox triplets and their allies? Leave your thoughts below and keep an eye out for more casting news! Also, stay tuned for the return of “The Super Teens,” making its way to theVPN this summer!
