EXCLUSIVE: HUTCHERSON AND STONER TALK SEQUENCE THREE! With the second sequence finale of the hit webisode “Audition” recently airing, VSGuide was able to sit down with the dramadey’s main leads, Josh Hutcherson and Alyson Stoner, who portray Alex Berreta and Alisha Hall, respectively! VSGUIDE: So, in the finale, we saw Angela lock herself in the bathroom to stay safe from a psychotic Jordan. Pretty crazy stuff! Just exactly how much time has passed from the sequence three premiere to the finale? HUTCHERSON: It picks up straight where the sequence ended. The first scene of the premiere, and the final scene of the finale are basically one in the same. VSGUIDE: Also in the finale, we saw Alisha discover the toxic nature of Jordan, and both of your characters attempting to race to Jordan’s apartment in time. How exactly does that play out? STONER: Well, [laughs], without giving too much away, Alex, Alisha, Rose, and David are just trying to save Angela in time. Can’t say if they make it, though. VSGUIDE: I’m sure fans are eagerly anticipating! So without going into spoilers, what’s going to happen in sequence three, given that Nathan Kress and Elizabeth Gillies aren’t returning as series regulars? HUTCHERSON: Well, in the finale, we saw that Paula discovered that Jace was a casting producer. So, she’s basically going to try and get Alex and Alisha an audition for this movie he’s a part of. STONER: And obviously they get the part -- oops, spoilers! Well, I mean, if they didn’t... there would be no more show, so. [laughs] VSGUIDE: Is that the overlapping storyline of the sequence? STONER: Yep! And we meet some... interesting people on set. VSGUODE: Oh, can we expect some casting news in the near future? HUTCHERSON: You bet! There’s, I think, six new characters! VSGUIDE: Any other character related news? HUTCHERSON: Yeah, Bridgit Mendler, who plays Rose, she’s getting bumped up to the main cast. STONER: Her storyline is definitely a must-see this sequence. She’s really tested as a person, and I won’t say too much because that’s an entirely different interview. [laughs] VSGUIDE: So, there were some rumors that this sequence was going to increase to an eighteen episode order. Is that still the case? HUTCHERSON: Yeah, there were definitely talks with Brady about getting the sequence increased for an extra arc. But, after thinking about it, thought it was best to not drag the story out that long, and just tell it the way it’s planned. VSGUIDE: Understandable. Alyson, we’ve seen Alisha and David’s relationship be nothing but happy once your character returned. Can we expect some bumps in the road soon? STONER: Oh, most definitely! I would definitely call this the Relationship Sequence if it was up to me. VSGUIDE: Okay, so anything else you can give us regarding this sequence? STONER: It’s definitely the biggest one. Oh, and the finale -- HUTCHERSON: It’s definitely going to go out with a bang, and that is all I’m gonna say. [laughs] VSGUIDE: Well, there you are folks, the first pieces of news regarding the third sequence of Audition! Stay tune for casting news, and possibly interviews with other members of the cast! Also, spoilers have been released regarding the premiere episode, don't miss them! And don’t miss Sequence Three of Audition, coming soon to theVPN!

CASTING NEWS: MEET THE SMITH'S! The first bit of casting for sequence three has just been announced! Brought up in the second sequence finale, Paula’s mother was revealed to be in a mental health institution after suffering from severe depression. Annette O’Toole, best known for her role as Martha Kent on ‘Smallville’, has been booked to play Paula’s mother, Savannah! “Savannah is brought back into the story in a rather saddening way,” says series creator Brady Brown, “and the event in question hits Paula hard, causing her to fall back into her emotional state.” Also brought up in the sequence finale was Paula’s sister. Poppy Montgomery (’Without a Trace,’ ‘Unforgettable’) has been booked to play the agent’s sister, Judy Smith! “Judy and Paula, while not on the best of terms, are sisters. Judy’s very outspoken, and bluntly speaks her mind. She doesn’t really have a filter in her brain, if that makes sense,” Montgomery says on her character. “Oh, and Maula fans look out, another Smith may have her sights set on the single father!” she laughs. Well, there you have it, the first casting scoop of sequence three! And even though O’Toole and Montgomery aren’t set to appear until the second half, are you excited to see their characters? Sound off below, and don’t forget to check out the spoilers regarding the premiere, and the interview with Josh Hutcherson and Alyson Stoner! And don’t miss ‘Audition’ returning soon!

omg, these spoilers are so exciting! I can't wait to learn more about Paula's past, and the relationship she had with her mother and sister. I'm so excited that this sequence is going to really explore that element, and I didn't actually expect this to come into play (in terms of seeing the mother/sister), so you've caught me off guard there, and brilliant, brilliant casting! I seriously can't wait! Oh, and Judy has her eyes on Michael? AW HELL NAW. Bitch better recognise *snaps fingers* hahahaha But no, that conflict is going to be really interesting to watch, and maybe it will spur up feelings and truth about those feelings, from Paula Or perhaps when she falls back into this "emotional state" she won't have time to really think about any feelings towards anyone. Anyway, this sequence looks insanely good so far. Can't wait for it to start

Thanks, Jack! I'm really excited to introduce Paula's family, and have them interact with her. I've always loved Annette from playing Martha Kent (I mean... you probably already knew that), and I saw a few episodes of Unforgettable and like Poppy as an actress. Judy is definitely one of this "I'm gonna flirt with any man" type of attitude, so she might have her eyes set on Jace, but it will mostly be Michael, haha. They might even... KISS?! WHAT IS THIS BLASPHEMY! But anyways, Paula will definitely fall back into her emotional state, and realize a couple of things, and just what she needs to do with her life, so I hope you enjoy that when it comes along!

EXCLUSIVE: GAGE GOLIGHTLY TO PLAY MAJOR ROLE! News has just broken that Gage Golightly ('Teen Wolf,' 'The Troop') has been cast as Mia Edwards, a famous teen movie star who Alex and Alisha meet on set! "Sassy and fierce, Mia uses her famous status to get what she wants, and doesn't care who she steps on to get it," Golightly says on her character. "Oh, and she has her eyes set on a handsome, new co-star of hers," she giggles. Golightly's character is said to shake things up for Alex and Alisha, and plays a pivotal role in several relationships on the show. Golightly first appears in episode three, along with several unannounced characters. "Mia is a quite a complex character actually, which is definitely not given from her initial description," series creator Brady Brown says. "She may come off as one of those bitchy famous teens and in the Arc One finale, you'll definitely hate her, but by the sequence finale you'll definitely have a soft spot for her," he says, "Hopefully." Excited for Gage Golightly to come and stir up some trouble in Hollywood? Leave your comments below, and stay tuned for more spoilers regarding the third sequence of "Audition"!
