The 100 is an American SciFi – Dystopian drama television series developed by Jason Rothenberg, based on the book series of the same name by Kass Morgan.

The series is set 97 years after a devastating nuclear war wiped out almost all life on Earth. The only known survivors are the residents of twelve space stations in Earth's orbit prior to the war. The space stations banded together to form a single massive station named "The Ark", where about 2,400 people live.

Resources are scarce and all crimes no matter their nature or severity are punishable by death ("floating") unless the perpetrator is under 18 years of age. After the Ark's life-support systems are found to be critically failing, 100 juvenile prisoners are declared "expendable" and sent to the surface in a last ditch attempt to determine if Earth is habitable again in a program called "The 100", for which the show is named.

The teens arrive on a beautiful planet they have only seen from space. Confronting the dangers of this rugged new world, they struggle to form a tentative community. However, they discover not all humanity was wiped out; some people on Earth, called grounders, survived the war, and there are even more dangers lurking – Reapers and Mountain Men.

I never left my thoughts on this show. Overall, I love it! When I first saw that this show was picked up by The CW, I was a bit skeptical. I doubted that it would find an audience, but it's really surprised me. Not only has it got a nice fan base so far, but it's actually a pretty good show!

Favorite Characters: Octavia Blake, Raven Reyes, Clarke Griffin, Bellamy Blake, Monty Green

I'm also really loving Lexa! Especially her relationship with Clarke. I really hope she sticks around. Anyway, I definitely recommend this show. One of the better shows on The CW network right now.

This show is in my Top 5 of favorite shows airing. It's a rather long list of shows I am currently watching so Top 5 is a great honor. Lol. When I first heard of this series I was a bit skeptical that it had the lasting power so I didn't watch it's debut. In fact I didn't start watching until three episodes in and even then I was watching it on Netflix because I couldn't find anything else. But I am man enough to admit that I was wrong. This series is amazing and it keeps getting better. It reminds me of the short lived Earth 2, but with more action.

I'm also enjoying the relationship between Clarke and Lexa. I'm interested in the newly formed Mentor/Student relationship between Octavia and Indra. I can't wait to see where that leads.

Favorite Characters: Clark, Octavia, Bellamy, Indra, and Murphy.

I'm pretty much going to echo what Chris said, again. I highly recommend this show.

I really love this show. I never expected to, but it's quite addictive. I love how people are comparing it as a mix between LOST and BSG because that's absolutely true. My favorite character is Octavia, and I'm so excited for what's to come with her. Her drive and willpower is absolutely fantastic. I also love Clarke and Raven. Such badasses!

I love Bellamy, with all my heart. But yeah... Clexa for the win. Definitely.

Yeah, me too, Chris. It's not that he's a bad character or anything, I just feel like Clarke and Lexa just have more chemistry. But then again it could also be that I was a Clarke/Finn shipper until Raven showed up. So, Bellamy was never really on my radar for potential Clarke suitors... who am I, this poor girl's father? Potential suitors? Lmfao!

I feel really bad for shipping Clarke/Finn at one point. It kinda died for me too when Raven came down to the ground. I do understand all the fuss about Bellarke though. And some part of me does ship them, but a bigger part of me ships Clexa Another major ship of mine, and I really only have two, is Monty/Miller. Don't ask me why. Monty/Jasper would make more sense, but I don't care. I didn't choose the ship, it chose me.

I could totally see Monty/Miller. I think it's because I see Jasper with that Maya chick. If they emphasized that relationship a bit more they could play on the whole Romeo and Juliet thing.

I too feel bad for shipping Clarke/Finn for that very same reason. I just felt dirty after the fact. Especially when Raven is hella awesome!

I spent this week watching the first two seasons. I didn't expect much, but Chris recommended it and I actually ended up really loving it! All the women on this show are badass! They're so complex and diverse. But if I had to pick one character (male or female) that stands above the rest, it has to be Octavia. She is my queen! I also love Raven, Monty, Bellamy and Murphy - those last two took me by surprise from how they were introduced to how they've grown with the show. Looking forward to watching season three live with everyone else.

Octavia is easily my favorite character. Her growth from the pilot to the end of season 2 is absolutely incredible, and the way she fights and presents herself now makes her incredibly attractive but immensely terrifying at the same time. I love it!
