I'm currently writing a pilot for a comedy series I pitched recently called "Screenwriter's Paradise" and it is wicked difficult...ALSO, pretty fun.
I never thought of myself as a comedy writer but I'm taking my time and researching more comedy scripts to make sure I get it right. So...comedy is a pretty cool genre to read, as well as write.

I can't wait to read the pilot for your comedy series, Chris! It sounds like it's gonna be great. I haven't really found a favorite genre yet...but I can say, thus far, that I love WRITING action ones.

Horror, Sci-Fi and Paranormal vs'. :3
And I mean Paranormal, not sparkly vampires or those who fall in love with human girls. I mean real vampires, ghosts, monsters and demons that want to rip people's faces off, as they SHOULD. I like the shows where that which goes bump in the night gets into a huge fight with that which bumps back. I wanna see a demon or vampire get a knee to the face, not fallen in love with. ^^

*dies* Moni that's what was great about Buffy - Vampire fell in love and then got kneed in the downstairs brain and THEN stabbed with a sword - best of both worlds XD

True, Buffy had some awesome butt kicking moments in there...but it also did have some demon love too.

Zombies ftw! Well, at least it's the most fun to write. xD

I would have WAY TOO MUCH fun writing a show with zombies. People would probably begin to question my sanity.

I really enjoy dark mysteries. Serialized dramas that involve horror, science fiction and fantasy elements. A true fan of being left in the dark for long periods of time. So much intensity when you're always confused. I don't know... some people hate that, but I love it
