right, I gave my review of season 1 recently, with the occasional hint of S2 in it, but here I just wanted to right how much more I've enjoyed this season so far! I will admit I did skim through S1 as quickly as possible because I wanted to get into S2 to see what Chris was doing with the character of Rachel Roth, aka Raven, and it hasn't disappointed - when I read that like that included "Azerath Metrion Zinthos" i squeed - Teen Titans animated series reference!! Lana is powerless, but still out kicking ass, which I admire, although I have to admit, I did not completely clock onto the fact she was no longer using the suit! That's my bad, totally, like I said, I skim read at times, and that detail had completely gone by me! But I'm loving the new Quentin/Lana relationship, and the added twist of Stuart switching sides and revealing Valentina is still alive. My only disappointment is the reveal that Lex is a part of Checkmate, and the idea that Lionel somehow had a hand in creating it. Lex overall, feels like he is being written as 'the villian' in order to allow Amanda to step back from that role and being explored as an actual character, which I look forward to. But I feel that Lex is a lot more layered then that, and even though he IS a guest star, needs a few more scenes set on just him - i mean, he may have forgotten about his LOVE for Lana, but he must know he had a relationship with her, does he not wonder what she can tell him? It also feels like (and this goes for Smallville as well) that Checkmate was used as a way of spicing characters up, like Stuart and Tess being discovered to either be part of it, or joining it later. I hope that at some point we do explore more about Checkmate - given the time span and how long Checkmate was left alone for, we could find out what happened after Zod's attack back in S9 Smallville, and maybe THAT is how Lex became involved in it. I hope it isn't too forward of me, but if Chris needs any help with passing out scripts to be written, in order to get Trinity back 'on air', I'm happy to help out.

right, I gave my review of season 1 recently, with the occasional hint of S2 in it, but here I just wanted to right how much more I've enjoyed this season so far! Sorry for taking so long to reply to this review! I'm glad you decided to read season 2, and I'm so glad it's shaping up to be a better season than the first. Since season one I knew that I wanted Rachel Roth on the show. I didn't know how I was going to do it, but I knew it was going to happen. I loved her characters in the comics and in Teen Titans, so I'm glad you're enjoying her in the show. Her character and backstory are probably the most crucial aspects of the second season, so I can't wait for the show to return so we can explore her even further. Yeah, after the mishap in season one, I tried to get rid of the suit like it never even happened. HAHA! She's powerless, but not without power. She can still kick ass and she's still got the urge to help those around her. It's just going to be a bit more difficult. The origins of Checkmate will be explored more in the episode "Wall" which takes us back to when Amanda Waller forms "The Agency" which later becomes Checkmate. We'll be seeing how Lionel got involved in it's formation then. This isn't a storyline taken directly from DC Comics mythos but I've always said that "Trinity" is only loosely based on the comics. I like to bring my own ideas to the table, and hopefully I can get you to change your mind on that front. As for Lex, his character will definitely be explored in more detail, as he will upgraded to a main character, if not after the first half of season 2, than definitely in season 3. The thing about his character is, he doesn't look at himself as the old Lex. Even though he has been implanted with a few memories, he does not feel like that was his life, because technically, it wasn't. That being said, he could care less about his connections or relationships back then, because if he lets those things back in, he's afraid that he'll lose himself. So yes, he's very much a complex, multi-layered character. Well, I'm currently not the showrunner of Trinity anymore, that duty has been passed on to Karl, the executive producer. But, we could probably use all the help we can get. I'll let you know if something becomes available. Thanks for the offer to help!

REVIEW: 2.05 "Restless"Okay. I'm back! I seriously love reading this show, it is consistently great, and all of the characters are just awesome to read about, and... EVERYTHING IS AWESOME. This episode really stood out for me, because the plot has got to be one of the most original ones I have ever read of. And it's focused on Cynthia and Valentina. Cynthia and Valentina. And, of course, it topped everything I had expected, but let's get this review started! I'm really, really, really enjoying Rachel's storyline so far. Raven is definitely one of my all time favorite DC characters, so I seriously can't wait to see what's going to happen with her. The visions she was having was driving me crazy, so... It's okay for Rachel to go a little bonkers every once in a while. IT'S OKAY RACHEL, I STILL LOVE YOU. Oh, and speaking of iconic characters, we got a glimpse of Mari *VIXEN*, who is also epic, omg... You're blowing my mind with all this stuff. JUST STOP IT, OKAY. Haha, no. You may proceed. So, these future scenes are totally what made this episode for me. I can't really tell if Valentina was being serious with the whole "Trinity is dead" thing. Hopefully the future can change? Maybe? Please? PLEASE. I mean... I MEAN JACK DID IT, YOU CAN TOO RIGHT? -cries- Anyways, the future scenes are all just intriguing in the fact that: is this going to happen? how did they get to this point? Gah, soooo excited right hurr. But, you probably already knew that. Another great aspect of this episode, this season rather, is the battle for power between Lex and Amanda/Valentina. Seeing how bad these two women want Lex out of the picture, and then how Amanda has to go between the two... Ugh, I love it! It's three BAMFs fighting for power. How could it be anymore awesome?! Oh, if they all just held guns at one another. That would make it more awesome. XD So, um, that ending. THAT. ENDING. Everything is connected and I can't wait to see how everything ties together. This has got to be my favorite episode yet. So many awesome character moments, so many awesome moments in general. I just loved everything about this episode. IT WAS SO GREAT. Glad we got a lot of Cynthia moments too, and now she's a brunette. BRING ON THE REST OF THIS SEASON, TRINITY. It's obviously a -- 10/10

Okay, I apologize for this extremely late reply! But thanks for giving "Restless" a read. I hope we can get this show back up and running so you can see how the rest of the season unfolds. I'm glad you liked the plot, and thought it was original. When thinking up how I wanted to bring Cynthia back, I knew I wanted her to be connected, somehow, to Valentina, but thinking of an original way to do that was quite difficult. Then, I came to this conclusion, and I really like the way it turned out. The episode itself could have been more tight, but for where this episode leads, it does a good job. I love writing Rachel's character. Spoiler alert -- but she most definitely has the most character development this season. Where her character is now is a lot different from the Raven character we all know and love from the comics, and before the season is over, she will get to that point. The journey down that darker path will be interesting to write. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. I had to give Vixen a little cameo due to the possible spinoff series she would star in with a few more familiar faces... I think you know which ones I'm talking about. When writing the future scenes I didn't come up with a concrete plan on what was really going to happen, and what would be changed. I was kind of letting my gut do the writing there. So, as of right now, the whole "Trinity" is dead thing could be a lie, but maybe not. The only thing I did plan out were the Quentin/Valentina future scenes, since those two characters are involved in the biggest storyline the series has seen so far. You might get your wish on that gun scene... But no, thanks a lot Brady. I really enjoy writing those scenes, and I can't wait for the day I get to write a scene with ALL THREE of them in the same room. Should be fun... and deadly. The Mark of Trigon plays a major role in this season too, along with the character Trigon as well. He should be manifesting himself in the next couple of episodes. Cynthia is now brunette. Just a small visual detail, but one that moves that future storyline forward. I'm really glad you enjoyed this episode! XD Can't wait for the return of Trinity as well
