So after what feels like a million years, I've finally finished episode 8 and have started writing the mid-season finale. Going to start posting spoilers, and get this thread alive again. Working on a trailer with scenes from the first eight episodes to get things rolling!
UPDATED 29/03/2019 - Episode title revealed as 'Outcast.' - A flashback story will examine a game-changing event in Oliver's (Justin Hartley) life set between his departure for Star City at the end of Season 4, and the two-year flash-forward. At this point in time, Oliver is running a smooth operation as Green Arrow, beloved by the city, and surrounded by a team of heroes united in their quest to keep Star City safe against a new, prominent threat. - Former series regular stars Elise Gatien and Alaina Huffman will reprise their roles of 'Mia Dearden/Speedy' and 'Dinah Lance/Black Canary.' - Tony Goldwyn ('Scandal') has been cast as Bernell Jones, a reporter in Star City and father of Cissie King-Jones, who will cross paths with Chloe (Allison Mack) in the present day storyine taking place in Gotham.
Slowly getting there. Just broke a majority of the fifth episode, and started writing it the other day. I'm hoping to start airing in April - even if it does end up just being a small run of episodes to start the season off. It's going to be so much easier to make posts and start teasing things once that first episode is out, for sure.
Episode #5-05: "Chasm" Written by: Jack Malone Produced by: The VPN
UPDATED 12/02/2019 - Episode title revealed as 'Chasm.' - While previous episodes have contained a "flashback story," this will be the first episode of the season that doesn't offer a cohesive story in the past but rather it will contain multiple flashbacks relevant to specific characters and their stories. - "This episode really examines our characters at a critical point in the story where the events taking place in Gotham have divided them to a point where they all have different goals, and different means of fulfilling them," series creator Jack Malone told VSGuide, "While their individual paths may cross and align with others, everyone is really confronted with a specific choice to make by the end of the episode and that's where things may diverge." - The Court of Owls have a life-changing offer for one of the main characters.
Team Watchtower at eachother throats, sounds like a regular Monday night.
Season Two will recommence for a guaranteed straight run of 8 episodes starting next week!
"I'm very happy we're finally coming back," series creator Alex Matthews told VSGuide's representative, "It's been far too long since our loyal viewers have been able to enjoy the exploits and adventures of the S.C.U. team in the weird and wonderful world of Metropolis."
The first episode in this next run, "Inject", sees the return of Christopher Judge as "Daniel 'Brick' Brickwell" and Rose McGowan as "Dr. Dana Laski", before bringing back Alan Ritchson's "Arthur Curry/Aquaman" for his second of 4 planned appearances this season in "Tattoo", alongside Shameik Moore as "Jackson Hyde" and Lance Reddick as "Black Manta".
"Monster" will also bring back another "Smallville" alum, Phil Morris, as "John Jones/Martian Manhunter", alongside John De Lancie as "Dr. Saul Erdel" and Molly C. Quinn as "Melissa Erdel". "Fixate" will introduce Haley Webb as "Rita Farr" and Luke Macfarlane as "Tommy Jagger", before the big 2-part story of "Trident" and "Legacy" introduces the Royal Flush Gang to the VPNDCU and expands on the Atlantean Royal Family.
The final two episodes "Victim" and "Shriek" finish off this run of episodes before another short hiatus, after which a loose 2-part finale will deal with the season-long arc of the Metropolis Mayoral Election. Details about "Victim" have yet to be released beyond that it will focus on Kelly Rowan's "Toby Raines", but "Shriek" will be this year's Halloween special and bring back the DC Comics character of 'Silver Banshee'.
Episode 2x05: "Inject" will air 9/8c on Sept 10th!
Meet the face of Gotham City's corruption! VSGuide has learned exclusively that actor Toby Jones has joined 'Watchtower' in its final season as DC Comics' Oswald Cobblepot, otherwise known as The Penguin.
In the fifth and final season of 'Watchtower,' The Penguin will reveal himself to be a mastermind behind one of the biggest plots to take over the city — a plot that many have tried and failed. His connections are said to run deep, and his shady past and business ventures have established him as the face of the city's remaining corruption that he is expected to bring back to light in full-force. While he shares a past with The Batman, and has been an untouchable thorn in his side for the past decade, it's what he has planned in the present that will make him a memorable opponent for the remaining heroes of the 'Watchtower' universe to go up against in this last instalment of the series.
"The Penguin is as filthy and corrupt as you could get and has become the Kingpin of crime in Gotham — nothing goes down without him signing off on it," series creator Jack Malone told VSGuide, "Every time Batman has tried to put him away for good, a lesser known criminal has taken the fall and The Penguin has weaselled his way out of suffering the consequences."
Jones will debut as The Penguin in the second episode of the season, and appear in multiple episodes throughout Season 5.
::coughs, clears throat:: Ahem, sorry, as you can probably tell, this excites me quite a bit. I've wanted Penguin in "Watchtower" for so long, and it's finally happening!! Toby Jones is perfect casting! Thank you, Jack Malone , for making one of my WCHTR 'Final Season Bucket List' points come true!
At least one of yours did. I was expecting a certain archer who wears a yellow hood to become a main character again. I loved when she was apart of the show during S1. And everytime she has come back, I always felt the same emotions as everyone else when she popped up.
So stoked for this!! Love that we'll be dealing so much with Archer's story and his own journey into maybe becoming a hero in his own right! Also, Arrowette!?!?! Does this mean we'll meet her mother Bonnie?! Will she be some kind of stalker-fan in Ollie's life? Will her dad Bernall be working with Chloe at the Vale Verity?
Anything is possible. I will say, though, that Cissie is a character orbiting Archer's world and playing a supporting role within his story so there won't be too many opportunities to invest in a story about her parents. Mentioned, definitely. Seen once or twice, absolutely. But nothing major.
Unless someone wants to do the Archer spinoff.......
And can i say THANK YOU for bringing in Cissie. She was always my favorite young hero
Im just going to add my two cents....DROP THE PREMIERE
The same goes with you Alex Matthews. Hurry up and get S2 underway.haha
Also Mia coming back, can you spill any tea on her? Is she leading the Titans? Having a friendship with Jason Todd? Poor Pretty Bird....Im sad that her and Ollie arent together, but I get it. I really hope the explanation is great!!!

Im currently working on the first episode of this Webseries.
I apologize that i've been taking so long to take care of this. I wanted to map the series out from start to finish. I know normally its healthy to just start with what you have and then let the creativity or writing guide you, however, I'm writing the sequel of this as a book.
So with that in mind, I wanted to at least release this series to show how it all led to my book. I hope you all like the pilot when I finally get it done. I should have something concrete for y'all to read in the next couple of weeks if you guys give me time
I appreciate you guys for taking the time to even read this little note and to stay fans of this pitch. I hope you guys stay fans of this series when it starts.
