After the death of his wife and son Jim Mills and his daughter Zoey, move from New York City to the small town of Oakdale, California. A crazy wealthy town where Jim is now the town’s chief of police and where Zoey attends Oakdale High School. A school where she quickly befriends Shane Morgan a socially awkward teen who is initially friendless, Lucy Kwon a young book smart girl whose love of knowledge and books have left her lonely and Jake Hartley a young idealistic football jock who’s meeting with Zoey inspires him. The show also features April Harris a young materialistic girl who is meant to be an antagonist to Zoey, Shane and Lucy. The final cast member is April’s mother Ella Harris who is also the school’s principle.

Zoey Mills (Played By Ashley Tisdale) – Recovering from the loss of her mother and brother Zoey is closed off and emotionless. Though her meeting with Shane, Lucy and Jake change that and she begins to return to her old outspoken self. Immediately attracted to Jake, Zoey must deal with Jake’s girlfriend April who has no intentions of losing the man she loves.



Shane Morgan (Played By Brendan Robinson) - A troubled teen who feels invisible to the world around him is at his breaking point and it won’t take much more to set him off, he immediately takes to Zoey and in a way they help save each other by sticking a friendship.



Lucy Kwon (Played By Jenna Ushkowits) - A lonely young book smart girl whose life has left her without friends, and seen as a loser by most of peers but Zoey’s arrival changes her world as she, Zoey and Shane begin to become friends, as Lucy learns there's more to life than being the smartest girl in class.



Jake Hartley (Played by Zack Roerig) - An idealistic football star Jake is the guy every girl wants to have and the guy every boy wants to be. Though Jake’s fame means little to him, Jake believes that a world can exist where everyone is seen as equals and no one is looked down on. Though he immediately likes the effect Zoey has on him, he knows he could never cheat on his long time girl friend April.



April Harris (Played By Hayden Pannettiere) – A mean spirited girl with a reputation for being “a bitch” , Zoey’s relationship with Jake ignites a war between the two girls. Though April dislikes Zoey destiny may have a different path for these two girls in mind.


Ella Harris (Played By Melinda Clarke) April’s mother and principle at the school. Ella can be as mean as her daughter, a strong believer in “tough love” Ella pushes April to be the strongest girl in school.


Jim Mills (Played By Brian Austin Green) – having suffered a tragic loss Jim Mills moves what’s left of his family to his hometown of Oakdale, California where he has been offered a job as chief of police. Overbearing and protective of his daughter Jim knows what life in a high class society could do to his baby girl but Jim believes Zoey will always make the right choice.

EPISODES

1.01 Coming Home
Jim and Zoey Mills arrival in Oakdale begins a chain of events as Zoey’s first day at O.H.S leads her into danger, Jim struggles with letting go of his late wife.

1.02 Take Me Away
Well things between Zoey and Jake heat up, April plots against the newcomer. Lucy visits Shane; and Jim runs into his ex girlfriend, Ella.

1.03 Don’t forget to Breath
Jim tries to protect Zoey and April after the events of the last episode well Shane makes a startling revelation to Lucy and Jake tries to stop Zoey and April from killing one another.

1.04 Born To Be Wild
Well on a class camping trip in the woods April and Shane get lost; Well Ella calls Jim and rest of the department to help find the two. Lucy, Zoey and Jake take matters into their own hands.

1.05 Be Yourself is All That You Can Do
After discovering she may not pass the semester if she doesn’t pass her next math exam, April turns to a reluctant Lucy for help. Leading the two girls to learn a lot about each other; meanwhile when Shane reads a fellow student’s screenplay he worries the dark ending may come true.

1.06 Remember the Name (mid season finale)
When things come to a head between Jake and April, Zoey wonders if she should make a move well Shane and Lucy’s movie night leads them to new waters. Zoey discovers she may have a stalker.

NOTES:
So I've always wanted to do a drama series it something that's always interested me. I'm almost sure there are a lot of grammer and spelling mistakes but it's almost 3 in the morning and I have yet to sleep in 48 hours but wanted to get this up, when I have a chance I will clean it up.

I hope for this to be a lot like the first season of THE OC and earlier episodes of Beverly Hills 90210 the way as messed up and both groups were, they kind of helped each other and other people from time to time and it wasn't just a soap opera. That's what I'm going for. So let me know what you all think I can't wait to hear opinions bad or good.

It sounds pretty interesting, definitely something I'd read. I love the casting, especially Ella and April. I will ALWAYS see Melinda Clarke as a damn bitch because of her role as Marissa's mom in the OC XD. Can't wait to read more about it. ^^

This sounds very promising or something that would be fun to do. I love drama, but I like to make it interesting enough that those that don't like drama...may like it. OAKDALE would be a cool thing to do.
