Nine months ago, a terrible plague of unknown origin swept our planet, effectively and quickly breaking down society as we know it and turning its victims into mindless flesh-eaters, more commonly known as ‘Zombies’.
Now, nine months later, the cities belong to the dead and the only safe place for the few remaining survivors to be is the road. Some survivors travel alone, others pack together and form convoys; smaller communities on wheels. One such Convoy travels the abandoned roads of The United States, picking up everything they can find along the roadside on a seemingly destinationless journey to find some kind of safety. But how long can they really go without breaking, either emotionally or physically? And how long can one remain a civilized person in a world where all the rules have been thrown out the window?
Main Cast
RICK DONOVAN, Portrayed by Josh Holloway
Quite hard, doesn't show many emotions or weakness. When pissed off, can get quite agressive. Underneath, he's tired and really hates everything. A Police Officer back in the day, Rick was the natural leader to be for The Convoy.
AMELIA GARLAND, Portrayed by Rose Byrne
Quite nice and sweet but can turn horrible under pressure. Back in the day, Amelia was a doctor and nowadays drives The Convoy's ambulance and takes it upon herself to take care of everyone. She and Rick have a very respectful relation and when/if Rick is unable to, it is up to Amelia to lead The Convoy.
CRYSTAL, Portrayed by Maggie Grace
Distant, tough, a loner. Wants someone to connect with but has a disliking of humanity in general. Back in the day, Crystal was a stripper by day and hooker by night; a result of severe money problems.
TAYLOR BURNSIDE, Portrayed by Spencer Locke
Tough but sweet. Always wants to impress the group, Rick especially. A lot of the time, outspoken and treated like a child by several of the convoy.
STEVE GRADY, Portrayed by Ryan Kwanten
Paranoid and fun-loving, Steve used to be a trucker and nowadays sits behind the wheel of The Convoy's schoolbus.
MARTHA MOORE, Portrayed by Laurie Holden
Formerly a bored housewife, who really doesn't fit that stereotype in the slightest. She's quite childish and is often sarcastic. She is best friends with Amelia.
RYAN GILBERT, Portrayed by Josh Hutcherson
Open and energetic. He's probably the happiest person in the Convoy, despite all that has happened to the world. Ryan's thing is technology and he handles everything from radio to cameras.
with MICHAEL MASON, Portrayed by Nicholas Lea
Quiet, calm, forceful. Quite independant and will do anything and use anyone to get what he wants. Michael spent a good while in prison back in the day... and his criminal tendencies haven't changed much.
and JASON BURROWS, Portrayed by Chandler Canterbury
Enclosed, tough for his age and, a loner. Because of unimaginable things that have happened to him while on his own, Jason fears other people and has trouble adjusting to being around so many people, or trusting them.
Supporting Cast
JOHN MOORE, Portrayed by David Duchovny
Martha's (to her) boring husband, though she won't admit this out loud. They've never connected and only married because Martha got pregnant.
ADAM MOORE, Portrayed by Dakota Goyo
Martha's curious and adventurous son, who loves talking to people and hear their stories. He spends most of his time with adult members of the Convoy, as opposed to playing with people his age.
BRAD HENDRICKS, Portrayed by Jean Luc Bilodeau
A kind and gentle security guard at Orison Mall , who ends up joining the Convoy after their visit there.
NOAH TURNER, Portrayed by Nathan Gamble
Amanda's older brother, a sadistic bastard who takes pleasure in, without the adults knowing, tormenting the other children of The Convoy. He takes interest in and quickly tries to befriend Jason, after seeing him single-handedly slaying a Zombie.
AMANDA TURNER, Portrayed by Morgan Lily
Amanda is Adam's only friend amonst the other children, mostly due to her being, like him, very mature for her age. Amanda though, unlike Adam, has gained this mature attitude through a rough life, both before and during The Zombie Apocalypse. First the death of her parents... and then getting left in the hands of her sadistic older brother as a result.

He's going to make a documentary about the lives of the people within The Convoy, though not all will be so eager to show on tape. What seems like a fun, new thing at first, however, overnight develops into an unhealthy obsession when 'interesting' things start to happen around the area the Convoy next stops to rest at and Ryan just can't resist bringing out his precious camera.
