Oh, don't even get me started on how I can go on and on about it. XD I can list and detail every single thing they did wrong, starting with the T-Virus BEING AIRBORNE IN THE MOVIE. THE VIRUS WAS NOT AIRBORNE. -melts and drowns- The virus was never airborne in the movie? If you're referring to how it got past Raccoon City, it was either by birds or an infected Umbrella Scientist slipped through perimiters, but I assure you that the virus was never airborne, I don't know where you got that from. Welcome to the forum, by the way, lol. ;D

(Dropping in late to say) I will definitely read this series. I love Sci Fi... and this series seems like it (sort of) embodies all that is Sci Fi. Can't wait! (:

I'm sorry to have to say, I've tried and tried... but I simply can't get this right. So I've decided to keep the three main characters, but just delete the whole assassin-aspect (that just didn't work out). I'll revamp this pitch once I finish rewriting the pilot.

Just started reading "Odyssey" and wanted to quickly say how much I like the opening scene. Your descriptions really make me see it all in my head... and I won't even speak about Lana's entrance ;D... *Keeps reading*

Thanks for replying, it's really appreciated, especially coming from someone with your kind of background in VS. I know I'm not gonna be great anytime soon, but I'm fine with that, as long as what I write isn't utter unreadable crap. I'm open to improvement, though and adding to the vocabulary (since I'm not a native english speaker).

I just finished episode three of the first season and I really like this series! It's a good series and I find the whole premise very crawling-under-your-skin (literally, lol, in the case of this show) kind of creepy. Though I like the other characters too, I feel Anna sort of makes it all!

Is underwater, in the case of my script underwater in the ocean, an interior or exterior shot?

Wow. I really like this idea. I haven't looked at the preview yet, but can I suggest you stick with this show. Its very original. I've noticed you like making a lot of pitches, but I find it difficult to know which shows you're most serious about. This pitch is very interesting, and the premise has me hooked right away. Good luck with the pilot Thanks. Yeah, I'll be sticking with this show, I think it feels... well, everything you just described. I'll try to get the pilot finished possibly by the end of this or next week.

[shadow=green,left,300]THE ORPHANS[/shadow]"Fuckers picked the wrong children to orphanize..."Many years ago, assassins from all over the world and from many different cultures came together to form a society they came to call "The Scythe". Already during their first few operational months, The Scythe gained more and more members and quickly became one of the most effective killing forces in the world. Martha and John Lockley are two of these deadly assassins... thing is, they've got three children to take care of as well and who all know of their work and see it as a normal part of their everyday lives. Everything seems to go well for a while, no problems... until that night when someone decides they want Martha and John dead. This someone invites them to a meeting in a mansion, where they then proceed to beat the life out of them... the youngest child, Travis, is abducted, while the eldest, Adam and Lola, are left beaten and near death. They end up in a two and a half month long coma in a local hospital... but when they wake, things are about to get bloody... Adam and Lola are determined to take down all the people that were present in the mansion, no matter what it takes... and retrieve their brother, who they both believe is still alive. Simply put, the fuckers chose the wrong children to orphanize... all three of them. CAST:AARON JOHNSON as Adam Lockley, out of him and Lola he shines out on the field the most, where the guns and the hand-to-hand combat comes into the picture... but that isn't to suggest he's stupid, quite the opposite, he is very smart too... but his thinking mostly kicks in under pressure... like when he's under fire or being chased by someone. That's where he and Lola are the most different, because Lola is terrible with thinking under pressure. Adam mostly keeps his feelings bottled up... but in reality, he is the more emotional of the two, he just hides his feelings better. He is perhaps the one most effected by the death of their parents and the loss of their younger brother. Episode Count: 6 Episodes DAKOTA FANNING as Lola Lockley, who out of her and Adam is the more "brainy" one and always liked to work with numbers, figure things out and plot things out. She has been raised as a skilled fighter too, but where she truly shines is the plotting-board. Lola is the more emotional of her and Adam and isn't afraid to show her feelings in front of others... though it will take something very big to push her to that point where she has to show her deepest feelings. Episode Count: 6 Episodes SKANDAR KEYNES as Tyler Suzuki Episode Count: 5 Episodes JAYMA MAYS as Maggie Pretzel Episode Count: 4 Episodes NATHAN GAMBLE as Travis Lockley Episode Count: 5 Episodes RECURRING CHARACTERS:ZHANG ZIYI as Ayako Episode Count: 2 Episodes ANJELICA HUSTON as Granita Appelita Episode Count: 2 Episodes EPISODES:1x01 "Aftermath" Synopsis: After nearly facing death at the hands of The Scythe, siblings Adam and Lola are put in a coma... and wake up precisely two and a half months later. They briefly mourn the death of their parents... then they instantly set their eyes upon the people who did this and also abducted their younger brother, they want revenge. GUEST STARS: Beau Garrett, Skandar Keynes, Nathan Gamble 1x02 "TBA" Synopsis: TBA! GUEST STARS: Jayma Mays, Anjelica Huston 1x03 "TBA" GUEST STARS: Jayma Mays, Skandar Keynes, Anjelica Huston, Nathan Gamble 1x04 "TBA" GUEST STARS: Skandar Keynes, Zhang Ziyi, Nathan Gamble 1x05 "TBA" GUEST STARS: Jayma Mays, Skandar Keynes, Zhang Ziyi, Nathan Gamble 1x06 "TBA" GUEST STARS: Jayma Mays, Skandar Keynes, Nathan Gamble Creator's Notes: "The Orphans" will consist of 12 episodes a season and about two seasons worth of plot-arc is planned, but it could run for longer.

So, I get an idea, start writing, then feel like my writing sucks and delete it all, cycle starts all over again. I really wish to pursue a virtual series, I feel like that's the thing for me... but I also feel like something inside me, sometimes perhaps no matter the quality of the writing, always yells out "This sucks compared to the other shows!". So, have you guys got any tips on how to stay focused on the pilot without doubting yourself constantly? Thanks, it would help greatly.

I don't really see VS and filming as the same thing. In VS, you can do so much more and add special effects, etc. but with filming yourself you have it very limitited (plus, you can't really film establishing aerial shots without falling to a certain death).
I see only one solution to this... PITCH! PITCH! WRITE! WRITE!

Based on the comic book series of the same name, The Walking Dead tells the story of a small group of survivors living in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse. Most of the story takes place in the Atlanta metropolitan area and then the surrounding countryside of northern Georgia, as the survivors search for a safe haven away from the shuffling hordes of predatory "walkers" or "biters" (as the zombies are referred to in the show), who devour any living thing they catch, and whose bite is infectious to humans. The plot is focused primarily on the dilemmas the group faces as they struggle to balance their humanity with their survival against the zombie horde, and later, how they cope with members' being killed and deal with other human survivors they encounter, many of whom are dangerous and predatory themselves. The group is led by Rick Grimes, who was a sheriff's deputy before the zombie outbreak. At every turn they are faced with the horror of the walking zombies, the changing dynamic of their group, and hostility from the scattered remains of a struggling human populace who are focused on their own survival now that the structures of society have collapsed.
