The theater I went to didn't even show the Man of Steel trailer before the movie.

Is it bad that I'm kinda happy that the XBOX players don't get the entire series in the pack? I mean, it makes sense. Resident Evil was originally released on Playstation, then ported to everything else. But, yeah. XD -smug-

Interview Exclusive: Famke Janssen talks "Heroes Never Die"! The news has been broken! The Outcasts' mock-finale, "Heroes Never Die", has been given an official airdate: Tuesday, July 24th, 2012!. With the end of the show's original debut season less than a week away, VSGuide was caught up with the actress who portrays the woman who the producers tease to be the central character in the finale -- Famke Janssen! VSGUIDE | What can we expect from the finale?JANSSEN | A lot of action, sadness, a lot of death and chaos. It's pretty wild. The producers weren't kidding when they said it would go out with a "bang". You kind of go into it knowing that no one is safe and anything can happen. VSGUIDE | The Marauders and the Demogoblin are said to team up. With a team like that, the X-Men are obviously going to duke it out with them. Will this struggle end up with many fatalities?JANSSEN | More than I think anyone wants to admit. There are fatalities on both sides, some more heavy than others. It's a mess, really. VSGUIDE | It's been said that a few of the deaths are "main" characters. How many of them are X-Men? JANSSEN | There has been one confirmed death, but I'd personally argue with that and say two. A lot of them are still up in the air though, so you'll just have to wait and see. VSGUIDE | I'm guessing we can expect a ton of twists, turns and unexpected things to happen in the finale, correct?JANSSEN | That would be correct. [laughs] Just when you think you've got it figured out, things could take a sharp turn. Like I said, it's pretty wild. VSGUIDE | We understand there is a character with a questionable name entering for this episode. Can you explain this... "Mindfuck" character?JANSSEN | From my understanding, the character is the "alternate" to a character from the X-MEN comics named "Lady Mastermind". But the producers didn't feel that using the name "Lady Mastermind" was appropriate because the character whom Lady Mastermind's pulls her name from has never been on the show, and the other possible alias was "Mastermind II", which wouldn't have worked either. [laughs] "Mindfuck" was their only acceptable answer, I guess. She was originally meant to be Jean's equal, or close to it, but as the episode progressed, the role changed into what you'll see when the episode airs. VSGUIDE | Will Jean be kicking any ass?JANSSEN | Lots of it. [laughs] She goes head to head with a few different people, but the most important battle she has will be with the Demogoblin. VSGUIDE | Will the Phoenix Force play a role in the finale?JANSSEN | The Phoenix Force actually plays a huge role in the episode. It's the main reason why Jean and those closest to her are so important in this episode. Everything that happens, both around her and to them, sets it all in motion. Whether it turns out to be bad or good, you'll just have to wait and find out. VSGUIDE | We've seen Kristen and Jean become closer and closer throughout the season, can we expect their relationship to be a big factor in the finale?JANSSEN | Oh yeah, definitely. Their relationship and how close they've gotten is crucial to the outcome of the conflict. I can't say any more than that. VSGUIDE | It's been said that a character will make a move that will, ultimately, prove fatal for her team. Can you confirm what team?JANSSEN | The Brotherhood. The move -- or decision really, is made by Mystique. But I guess you could say that her decision also effects everyone else, too. VSGUIDE | The finale is something that many people have been waiting for. Do you think the fans will be satisfied?JANSSEN | I hope so. [laughs] We've all worked really hard on this episode to make it what it is. This is the end of this world, this universe, and you only get one shot. I just hope we took the right one. And there you have it, folks! What are your thoughts on the finale? Excited? Worried? Sound off below, and stay tuned for more news on the finale, as well as the upcoming reboot!

I personally like the New 52 suit more than the original. It looks less...ridiculous, I guess? I mean, the underwear outside of the suit is so...well, yeah. XD

As for Ant-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy. I understand why they're doing separate movies that aren't the Avengers. Ant-Man is an important character to the Avengers and deserved his own solo intro. And the Guardians of the Galaxy are rather important to the Marvel Universe, I guess, and just leaving it up to Avengers 2 to introduce them would make the movie a little too packed full of intros and backstory. So I'm glad they're doing solo films for them before they go and shove them into the Avengers.

Marvel is skeptical about making a movie with a female lead because they say it "won't sell". A lot of people have been bringing it up to them but they say there isn't a female character or an actress that could carry a female lead film like that. Even though, you know, they have a vast number of female characters and more than enough actresses that could carry the film. (Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jessica Biel as Abigail Whistler).
I mean, I can name more than a handful of female characters that could more than carry a major, blockbuster film. Most notably would be Spider-Woman and Ms. Marvel, as well as Black Widow. There are SO MANY PEOPLE that want to see them, but Marvel's convinced that it won't sell. That is pretty much the single biggest issue I have with Marvel. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is THE biggest movie franchise right now, and they have the chance to take that and change the way the movie industry works and allow for more female-dominated movies -- but they won't because selling is all that matters to them.
-sigh- Okay, sorry, rant over. In short, I'd love to see a Black Widow movie too.

I've been waiting for this to happen. I don't really read Deadpool comics, but he's a pretty cool character from everything else I've seen him in. I probably won't rush to get this game like I do with Spider-Man and X-Men games, but I'll probably pick this up at some point once the price goes down. It seems their games are pulling out of the "Rated T" hole and moving up to "Rated M". Also a good thing, in my opinion.
I'd love to eventually see a "Rated M" X-Men and Spider-Man game tackling storylines that you can't really do with "Rated T" or lower.

This is technically the second official trailer for Marvel's F2P MMO, but I personally find it to be the better of the two.
"The Cosmic Cube is a device of untold power capable of changing the very fabric of reality at the whim of its possessor. The brilliant but malevolent Dr. Doom has the Cube, and with it he aims to reshape the world in his own image. Determined to succeed where the Cube's previous wielders have failed, Doom has lined up villainous allies to prevent the super-heroes from interfering. Can you unravel Doctor Doom's sinister plan and stop him before it's too late?"

Ant-Man will probably happen before the Avengers 2, though. So that he can actually be IN the Avengers by that time.

Yay! I'm glad to hear that, Jack! And on that note, I think I'm out of the funk too.
Act Four of "Heroes Never Die" has just been completed. Gonna get some sleep and tackle the rest of the episode when I get up!

Well, see, that's the problem. XD It's not Henry and Janet. It's Scott Lang's Ant-Man.

-groans- What the hell even, Marvel? Like, no one gives a rats ass about the Guardians of the Galaxy!!! The ONLY reason I know who they are is because 1) Rocket Raccoon teamed up with Scott and Jean's daughter once and 2) They were in an episode of Earth's Mightest Heroes. I know Avengers 2 is more than likely going to be about Thanos, which means they NEED to bring in the Guardians of the Galaxy (well, not NEED but there is a huge storyline involving them and Thanos and the Avengers or something??) but omfg. Do we really need an entire movie? Seriously.

I wouldn't be so sure, Jack. XD They also want money, remember that. I understood the first Avengers movie as well, but I'm gonna try to make it a point to watch all the new ones in anticipation for Avengers 2. I personally LOVED the Captain America movie, and this coming from someone who hated Cap just a few months ago. I think all the movies are good in their own way. Though I haven't seen Thor or Hulk, and I don't think I will EVER see Hulk. But I will definitely watch Thor, probably tonight or tomorrow since it's on Netflix.
