I definitely like the idea that the Avengers is created as a response to the growing threat by villains that not even the X-Men can handle themselves. It will be interesting to see how such a team forms in a world where the primary heroes so far have been mutants, who are feared. Actually, the Avengers were there first XD They've been around much longer than the X-Men. Even longer than Spider-Girl. They're just appearing later in the game because of when the series will (hopefully) launch. But as far as like, story goes, the Avengers have been around longer. |

Yeeeeah. Poor Melanie. The girl she's been crushing on for years wants her alter ego...XD But I guess, I also look at it like...Spider-Girl is the one that has shown interest in MJ. Melanie gets too shy to say anything as herself, but she puts that costume on and all bets are off. I hated when Lois fell for the Blur, and still brushed Clark off like he was a pile of sh*t, so I'm not really rooting for MJ anymore. I was, until Gwen showed an interest. I think, for MJ, it would be great when Spidergirl turns out to be Melanie, but I think if she's too blind to see that Melanie, this great girl, has feelings for her ... I don't know. Its like, MJ loves an aspect of Melanie, an aspect that she can only show when she's behind a mask and in a costume, and she hasn't really shown a significant interest in the girl that isn't 'super' (to MJ's knowledge). Felicia seems like that kind of character that just gets in the way of developing romance - how she just threw herself at Melanie, causing problems for Gwen, and possibly even Melanie who now has to think about all of this and question her feelings, and all of that. She seems like a complication you have to get through before you reach the finish line - I don't see much romantic potential with them. Unlike with MJ and Melanie, I still root for them (mainly for MJ to realise she's in love with Melanie more than this 'Spider-Girl,') but I just love the idea of her being with Gwen. You're totally right, and Melanie herself thinks that she's okay with just the attention that Mary-Jane gives to Spider-Girl, but she slowly comes to the realization that MJ and Spidey isn't enough for her and we're gonna see it overwhelm her and become an issue. Poor Spidey can only handle so much. Felicia...God. I think you've describe Felicia just as well as I ever could. XD Felicia just wants Melanie to want her, I guess I should say. There is very little motivation behind Felicia's advances (for right now, anyway) and Melanie's not stupid, so she knows that. What Gwen feels for her is real, and I think it's safe to say Melanie knows that. Felicia is just looking for a new fling kind of thing, because like Cori said before...XD No one holds Jonnie's attention for very long. |

Oh, Melanie. Maybe she should try having her cake and eating it too. Get MJ with Spider-Girl and chase Gwen as Melanie. That way MJ will be upset that Melanie is pushing her attention off of her and will move straight to being all over Spider-Girl, and Gwen will enjoy the attention from Melanie and get all over her. Amiright? Then Felicia will go to Mystique, who will be so impressed by her awesomeness that she'll change into Melanie for her. I don't believe that's how Mystique operates >.> |
