PREMISE:One thousand years ago, life was prominent on the moon and the various planets of the universe. The Dark Kingdom destroyed this order, the Earth being the only being left in this solar system with life on. But not all was lost, as Queen Serenity cast a spell for Princess Serenity, her guards and her lover, Endymion, to be reincarnated. Unfortunately, this spell resulted in everyone who died on the moon that day to be resurrected, including those of the Dark Kingdom.
Now, times have changed, the obscurity of the Middle Ages hiding the truth from the world. Two friends meet again by chance in Chicago, Illinois, about two hours away from their old home of Crossroads. Strange things are happening, a talking cat approaching Jane and Charlotte being the least of them. Now they have to find the other soldiers, fight the forces of evil… and keep it a secret from Jane’s brother.
CHARACTERS: [/b]
Jane Munroe portrayed by Ellen Page
Sailor Moon, the leader of the group. Jane meets her destiny with strong resistance, but she’d do anything to protect her team. She tries her hardest to be a brave soldier when it counts, but it isn’t always that easy. Once she accepts her destiny, she becomes determined to stop the Dark Kingdom at any cost. She also has a secret that she struggles to keep from the other soldiers.
Charlotte Tibult portrayed by Jennifer Lawrence
Sailor Jupiter, the battle strategist. Fairly kind in her human form but quite the potty mouth as Sailor Jupiter, Charlotte thinks ten steps into every situation. She’s quick and cunning and refuses to back down from a fight. If you stand off against her, you’re likely to lose, but she isn’t that great when caught off-guard. You can also think of her as the mother bear of the group, and you know what happens when you mess with a mother bear’s cubs…
Phoebe Neisus portrayed by Shay Mitchell
Sailor Mercury, the quiet genius. The youngest of the soldiers at only eighteen, Phoebe often feels insecure amongst her fellow soldiers. She graduated from college at the age of fifteen and works as the assistant to the District Attorney. She realizes the consequences of not fighting as a soldier, but that can’t stop her from her fears.
Elaina Kilmory portrayed by Meghan Ory
Sailor Venus, the muscle. She’s the girl your mother warned you about and the kid you quickly learned to avoid on the playground. She doesn’t work as a prostitute, but you’d never know that with the way she dresses. She is fully dedicated to being a soldier and doesn’t waste a second deciding to stay.
Hattie Evans portrayed by Kirsten Prout
Sailor Mars, the feisty one. Just like her power, Hattie is a fiery soul with a sharp tongue. Cross her and you’ll most certainly meet your doom, especially since she’s the daughter of the DA. She knows the law inside and out and is well on her way to becoming a lawyer.
David Munroe portrayed by Zac Efron
Jane’s brother and a major pain for the soldiers as they try to keep their secret. Most girls fawn all over him, including the soldiers, aside from Jane, of course. He’s a private detective, which doesn’t make keeping the secret any easier.
Luna voiced by Serinda Swan
The advisor. Luna does everything in her power to prepare the girls to fight the Dark Kingdom, from physical to mental training. She tends to make dry remarks when her suggestions are ignored.
Recurring Characters:Artemis voiced by Ryan McPartlin
Advisor #2. Artemis is slightly more lax than Luna in training, but he still realizes the gravity of the situation. He seems to know something, a secret deeper than that of just the soldiers.
Charles Evans portrayed by Gerard Butler
Hattie’s father. Charles is everything you’d expect of a lawyer: just, determined… corrupt. He’s run more schemes in the past twenty years than Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and you do not want to be on his bad side.
Queen Beryl portrayed by Emma Stone
The Big Bad’s second-in-command… not that the soldiers know that. They think that when Beryl is gone, their problems will be over. If they only knew how wrong they are…
Kunzite portrayed by Chris Pine
The leader of the Generals. Kunzite is cold, calculating and manipulative, doing whatever it takes to destroy the soldiers and please his queen.
Zoicite portrayed by Alex Pettyfer
The smart one. Zoicite is the youngest of the generals, but his wisdom and cunning have brought him to be second-in-command. He appears obedient, but looks are deceiving.
Nephrite portrayed by Rick Malambri
The brute. Nephrite has virtually no respect- and he knows it, too. He can charm his way into any human girl’s pants and generally spends his time doing this instead of trying to kill the soldiers.
Jadeite portrayed by Sam Huntington
The jokester. Seriously? Where did this guy learn his pranks? Jadeite always has some sort of witty- usually sexual- remark up his sleeve. Other than that, his only real value to the Dark Kingdom is his pyrokinesis.
Detective Elizabeth Austen portrayed by Erica Durance
The cop. Detective Austen has given herself a rep for getting the “freaky cases”. Again and again, she comes across cases involving the soldiers, and she is determined to figure out the secret.
Daniel Hartman portrayed by Matt Dallas
A hot model that works with Elaina. Very little is known about him, but he’s got a secret that could turn the soldiers’ world upside down.
Matthew Jules portrayed by Aaron Ashmore
Charlotte's friend. Matthew is the son of the owner of Crown Night Club, the local hangout after dark. He's Charlotte's close friend and winds up helping the soldiers in many situations without realizing it.
EPISODES:
Episode 1: FoundingBy chance, former friends Jane (Ellen Page) and Charlotte (Jennifer Lawrence) meet up in Chicago, Illinois. But is anything really by chance when magic is involved? The talking cat doesn’t seem to think so. Unfortunately, it never occurred to Luna (Serinda Swan) that maybe these girls don’t want to be superheroes.
Episode 2: Not-So Model BehaviorThe Dark Kingdom is plotting, and Luna is recruiting. But in life, not everything is planned, and Elaina Kilmory (Meghan Ory) is caught in the middle. Meanwhile, Jane (Ellen Page) makes a surprising new friend: Elizabeth Austen (Erica Durance).
Episode 3: The Rule of ThreesThree soldiers, three problems. One was caught making a save on camera. Another has some serious sibling troubles. And the final is stuck in a tight situation. Without their comrades to rely on, will the soldiers make it through?
Episode 4: Law and DisorderJane (Ellen Page) has come across an unfortunate surprise: a dead body and the fleeing killer. Now an innocent man is being charged, and Jane is being called as a witness. Episode 5: FragileName: Hattie Marie Evans (Kirsten Prout)
Situation: Critical
Cause: Gunshot wound

Episode 6: A Soldier’s DutyCharlotte (Jennifer Lawrence) is determined to find out who shot Hattie (Kirsten Prout), and she’ll do anything to stop him from striking again. Episode 7: Eye of the Beholder

It looks like it’s up to Luna (Serinda Swan), Artemis (Ryan McPartlin) and Detective Austen (Erica Durance) to get to the bottom of things.
Episode 10: See No EvilFollowing the previous episode, it seems like nothing will ever be the same. The world is falling apart and giving way to fear of the Dark Kingdom. The giant demon attacking City Hall doesn’t help either. Where are the soldiers when you need them?
Episode 11: Hear No EvilThings are more uncomfortable than ever at the Munroe apartment, and David (Zac Efron) and Jane (Ellen Page) are doing everything in their power to avoid each other. However, they can only stay away for so long before life gets in the way and they both have to man up and work together.
Episode 12: Speak No Evil
Season FinaleWhat would you do if you could save a life? Change the world? What if it was all a lie? The girls are forced to split up, and one soldier will not make it back.
Notes: To be honest, I've been thinking about this for well over a year, but seeing R.A.N.G.E.R.S. was kind of the kick in the pants that said "go for it." I grew up on my sister's VHS tapes of Sailor Moon and the reruns on Cartoon Network and other stations. Looking back, I realized one thing: Sailor Moon was screwed by the dub. So, instead of going for the concepts of the soldiers being teenagers, they're now fresh out of college and trying to make it in the real world. I also have a few scandals and sticky situations planned that most certainly would not be acceptable for a kids' show. I did my best to balance the female-dominant nature of Sailor Moon through non-evil male characters, but I had to drop a few male characters and/or make them recurring guest stars in order to avoid having
too many main characters. So, as I made fairly clear, this is a topic that's very near and dear to my heart, and I think that both males and females could like it. It would be a combination of a variety of things, mostly supernatural, drama (
so much drama...) and action. And I'd like to thank the admins for looking at this and taking it into consideration.
