I actually had an idea similar to this, and I think it really has potential. My only concern is that you haven't thought this through quite enough, judging by your episode summaries. I know how easy it is to hit that required comment mark and immediately go pitch a series, but make sure you can do it and have a good idea of what you want.

So I'm obviously a bit late to join the reviewing party, but oh well. To be honest, I never read the first season, just jumped on into the second, so I didn't know what to expect from earlier work. I suppose I'll start with the beginning. I absolutely loved Lana's starting voice over. As for Quentin, I really thought for a second there that he started out as a bad guy, or at least a guy with some edge to him. It's a dark side that is fun to see in characters when you first meet them, whether it continues or not. As for Cynthia, she seems a bit cliched, though judging by season two, that issue is more than fixed.
I like that you cut off Lana's interview instead of trying to drag it out to increase the page count. Cynthia's premonition was pretty interesting, but it was Quentin's graveyard talk with his wife. It was simple enough, though it opened the fact that he really loved Valentina, enough to bring her her favorite flower instead of just some store-bought bouquet. Lana's confidence about her interview was kind of a surprise though, and a bit jarring to have that very sudden change in emotion. Also, seeing Cynthia's vision of her and Quentin only two scenes after the graveyard scene made me a bit uncomfortable, like you were stretching a bit too far to assure the readers that Quentin will get over his wife.
The scene where Cynthia was kidnapped was kind of expected, but in that way that makes you sit on the edge of your seat during the entire scene, telling the college girl not to go into the basement. I loved it! I also loved the rock that weakened Lana, and it raises a few questions to keep you hooked, like what is it and how does it hurt her, a human? The ending was quite a surprise as well. I didn't see it coming at all.
Overall, the episode was a solid A. I'm looking forward to reading more!

It was based on a book: The Mouse and the Motorcycle, I think.

Is it that movie where the mouse gets on a firetruck to get some Aspirin for a sick kid?

Okay, so I might be a little late to the party, but I love the "Black and White" poster, especially because Rachel is almost standing off on the dark side.

Well, with Monica and I being part Irish ourselves, we didn't really see a problem with it. Some people are really in-touch with their heritage, and that would explain the name. And as for the bright red hair? Well, I've got several family members and friends with Irish heritage sporting the natural red hair. So when the character was developed, we didn't see any issues with it. I have absolutely no problem with it; it just seemed kind of funny to me.

I'm sorry, but as an Irish girl, I must say... you gave the Irish chick bright red hair and one of the rarest Irish names? Hahaha, I love stereotypes.

Insert overly-dramatic gasp here. You want to revamp Danny Phantom? Will you marry me? Haha.

Well, Elise Gatien wound up on a show on Cartoon Network, so she had an excuse. I'm not sure about John, though.
