Spent the last couple of days reading through the pilot and letting it sit with me for a while so I could post some feedback. Overall, I really enjoyed it. There was a lot of setup for future episodes and storylines, which is what a pilot is supposed to do. Thanks for reading and reviewing, Chris! I appreciate it. I have to say I was a little worried by the last line here, I thought maybe a giant 'BUT' was to follow. Lol. Thank you very much. Diamond was definitely used in this episode to help the reader better understand what is happening and who these people are. Diamond's journey is pretty exciting because he's always felt like he was apart of something bigger and, now that he knows there is something bigger out there, it's now a matter of where does he fit in and is that role as big as he thought. His alcoholism is not going away either. He might think he doesn't need the bottle now that he has purpose but it's definitely his demon in the closet that will rear it's ugly head from time to time. Reign is definitely going to have major ups and even more downs as the series progresses. There really is a lot left to be revealed. When I wrote the Pilot I had to pick and chose the information that was given. There were many times where a conversation was started about one thing and dropped to introduce another. I had to weigh the pros and cons of each item. I am ecstatic that you're hooked. Thank you. You really haven't. Cambions will be explored further in the second episode along with a couple other species of supernatural creatures within the Paradise Lost 'verse. As far as demons are concerned the only demon-demons to be talked about in the first season will be the Serpents. In the second season (because I like to think that far ahead Lol) there will be a lot more demons introduced as we'll explore the world before Adam and Eve. But as far as the first season it's strictly Angels, hybrids (Nephilim, Cambions) and a few others I can't really say without having to explain what they are. Lol. I've always wanted to be a director. Not that I don't love writing, it's just the artistry that is directing anything appeals to me in a big way. I think that really influences the way I write because I want to write it the way I want the world to see it, through my eyes. This probably sounds incredibly weird, but it's the honest truth. Yeah, I don't know how else to write exposition then to just come out and say it. This is this and that is that. Lol. That is definitely something I need to work on. Lol. Thanks again, Chris! I appreciate the read and the review!

I read the pilot. It was very well written. There are so many VS series being pitched with nephilim...including my Avery Strange show at MZP. Not a criticism...just an interesting observation. Thanks for reading! Yeah, I've noticed that too. I'm really glad to hear you're still working on Avery Strange. I was always a big fan of the pitch and pilot! When creating any 'Verse I try to create a real history to the story and the characters or in this case a strong history based on the Bible. Some things I alter to fit my warped creativity, like the story of Adam, Eve and the Serpent. I won't go too much into detail but I can say that the Bible's version of what transpired and my own are very different Lol. When it comes to Pilots my greatest weakness is plot. Hands down. I find it the most challenging out of everything to be able to get to know your characters, introduce the world and still have something going on. With this Pilot my driving force for my characters was why is Eve here, why now, why like this. I tried to conclude part of that with her finding the Box and knowing that it is the reason she's here but I left open 'why like this'. I had her even state matter-of-fact 'That's why I'm here'. The 'why like this' will be something to unfold as the series progresses. I love Lucifer and what I have set up for her. She's my onion character where she has many layers and just when you think you have her figured out another layer is revealed. Her and Eve have such a complicated past. She's the direct reason Eve is an angel. She will definitely become a contender for big bad as the series progresses, just not the first few episodes. Right now she's kind of stuck helping out some people she really wants no part of. They'll be talked about as the season progresses as well. I tried to give an overall idea of who each character was in the Pitch where is wasn't directed at the Pilot itself but the series/season as a whole. I'm sorry if I misled, that wasn't my intention. Thank you very much for reading and reviewing! I truly appreciate it.

Yeah, I can see that. I think I would probably reword the section where she's talking to Diamond about being this pawn used in the Angel's game. I think that's probably where I would work it in.
Eve has some serious trust issues. She wants to trust Diamond and she's even trying to show that by letting him help but at the same time she can't help but think that he's going to turn out like the rest. I tried showing that with her forgetting for a moment that she has been screwed over and become emotionally involved only to become visibly uncomfortable with the situation and her emotions. This girl has been through a lot, which will unfold as the series continues. Their encounter in the Pilot won't bleed into the second episode. They'll have their separate storylines and separate paths.

Just read the pilot, and although there were some occasional moments of confusion, due to obvious elements planted in to lead on through the season and be explained later, I LOVED it, I literally devoured it as fast as I could! Yeah, I think that's why I hate Pilots. I never know when I'm giving too much or not enough information as well as 'getting to know' the characters, however with Paradise Lost there was a lot of 'vague' information given in the Pilot that will play big roles in future episodes. One in particular is Eve's dream/vision which is actually a memory. Random flashes of the memory but a memory nevertheless. There's a lot of rules and factions within Paradise Lost which will also be explored and explained 'better', I guess, in future episodes. For instance, Cambions, half-demon half-human, will be explored further in the second episode when you actually meet one. You'll also learn more about Diamond and Aemilia's parents in the second episode which will help better understand what's going on with them. I guess what I am trying to say is there was a lot I needed to get out there in the Pilot and I am so happy you stuck with it and even loved it. Thank you very much! Yeah, when I was creating the Paradise Lost 'Verse I was debating on language and how they would speak. I mean especially since a lot of these angels are Biblical. But then I thought of evolution and how mankind evolved and our languages changed, so why wouldn't the angels also evolve with their language? I really love some of the banter between them especially since they all know each other and there is a lot of history between them, some good, most bad. HAHA! Although, they're angels, these men and women are no saints. Lol. Right now, Eve is more prone to speaking her mind than usual because she's never been an Unbound angel before so she feels every feeling immensely. Thank you very much, Alex! I really appreciate the kind words.

REVIEW | The Super Teens 201 'Super Gone'
I like how we're thrown back into the series like no time has passed at all. Poor Debbie has been kept isolated since her kidnapping but now knowing the alternative I don't know which is worse.
I feel bad for Detective Ashlock, especially since the world wants her to move on and it's clear that she's not ready.
Why is it the bad guys always show up at the most inopportune times? HAHA Just when the Knox's finally ask for help and have an idea of where to start looking for their mother Jonathan's wacked out sister shows up. HAHA
I love Heather's reaction. “Does stuff like this always happen?” “Lovely” Lol. Looks like Det. Ashlock's in for it.
All in all it was a pretty good premiere episode. I think it sets up a lot of things plot wise as well as character. Good job!

REVIEW | M:SCU 101 'Formation'
I'm going to start off with saying this is my first review in a very long time so please bear with me. It maybe like riding a bike or it maybe a lot worse. HAHA!
First off, your dialogue is amazing. You're able to give a unique voice to each character and it really helps me picture them. Wally West is by far my favorite. I can totally see Fran Krantz playing the role of the wacky, singing scientist. HAHA! From what I have read, he could easily take the top spot of my favorite character, and it's not just because the Flash is one of my favorite DC heroes either.
I love how this series is set up like a CSI/ Criminal Minds type show where you have all this technical information and investigation going on while still maintaining character development.
I loved Maggie's line to Danny: 'Bad Cop'? Hell, I was just being myself. This line made me laugh. There was quite a few lines like this throughout that were very entertaining.
You have a great set of characters and a great concept. I wasn't really sure what to expect when I started reading. I guess I was expecting something other than what you gave but that's the best part. It was funny and interesting. You were able to create a Comic Book CSI and I for one loved it. I loved the set up for the next episode or episodes to follow with the introduction of Whisper A'Daire and the Intergang. I now have to download the other episodes to get caught up for the finale. Well done!

I like Dahlia. I think her character is pretty badass. I wish she would have killed someone else, but still a badass character. I still blame Esther for all this. Lol. Somewhat victim or not. It's her fault. HAHA! I was totally a Delena fan too, long before they became an item. Lol. But I am officially over it. Bring on the Bamon. However, how funny was that Scene with Caroline, Matt and Tyler. Lol. I would totally win Caroline Trivia. Lol. I actually don't mind Sarah. As long as they're not using her to replace Elena as a lead female, I could get on board with her staying a bit longer. Lol. I mean clearly she can't date either one of them so that's a plus. HAHAHA!

Thanks guys! Just finished Act III and I have the last three scenes written for Act IV. Now to write the action packed fourth Act. Hopefully, I'll be able to do that tonight. Then do a bit of editing over the next few days and have the Pilot posted for Paradise Lost by the weekend.

I was so pissed that they killed off: Aiden. I would have rather them killed off Josh because that kid annoys me. To me Josh is the Tyler of The Originals and like Tyler he needs to go. In my opinion. Lol. Aiden was definitely my favorite new character added this season. Him and Freya. I really hope they keep Freya beyond this season. As for Nina, I totally agree with you. I think Elena's character has done all there is to do with a character. I was excited earlier in this season when they had her somewhat interested in that human medical student and her becoming a doctor. I thought that was kind of a cool road to go down but now with Damon back I feel like they forced her character into her old habits. I would love to see Bamon finally happen!! Anyone else? Lol. Hopefully the powers-that-be see that Caroline and Bonnie are equal opportunists and can be the lead females they need. I would hate for them to introduce some new lead female and for Bonnie and Caroline to be pushed to the wayside.

Currently back to writing Paradise Lost - Pilot episode. May have just wrote the funniest scene I have ever written, in my opinion. Guess only time will tell. Right now I have the Teaser and Act I, completed, almost all of Act II complete, as well as a couple odd scenes in Act III and the final scene in Act IV completed. At this rate I might be able to complete Act III tonight. Fingers crossed. #amWriting #itsGonnaBeALongNight #moreCoffeePlease

I folded like a cheap suit and watched them all. It was amazing. Now I am devastated that I will not see a new episode for four weeks. I am Darrin and I have a TV addiction.

I'm still not convinced that Ben Affleck can pull off Batman/Bruce Wayne. I'm really going to have to wait to see the film before I can come out and say whether I was right or wrong Lol. I do like the darker direction it looks to be heading in compared to Man of Steel. I'm a sucker for dark and twisty. I have to agree with Brady that the Messiah concept is going to be interesting and I can't wait to see how they tie in the other members of the league within this film and how big of a role they'll play or if just a passing scene.

I'm about 25 pages into the Pilot. So, hopefully, sooner rather than later. Lol.
